Chapter 75

Veronica opens the door to reveal the FBI director and several agents who come in and arrest her aunt and uncle as well as the three men that originally came in as well as the lawyers. He shakes Veronica and Gavin’s hands before leaving the room.

Veronica follows them out of the building and waves at them as they are being loaded into the back of the police vehicles.

“Thank you Donna. We have everything we need to prosecute them completely including all the associates that we received evidence on.”

“Good. We will continue to send you evidence on those that need help and you have my word that we will continue to operate with honor.”

“I know you will, Donna. Gavin put in a lot of work putting this all together for you.”

“Good.”

“I’m sorry to lose him but I’m glad he will be with you.”

“Me too. It’s good to have him back where he belongs.”

“Take care now. We will be sending updates and reports Gavin.”

He nods before the director gets into the vehicle as well and they leave.
