Archilles.

The continuation.

“Hey, have you guys heard the news? That CEO guy from the Onyx Incorporation did it again.”

Reese fixed his ironed suit before replying to Paul's question, annoyed, "We have no time for such crap, Paul. Hurry up and get the files.”

Louie looked interestingly at Paul as he put down the plate he was wiping. He wiped his wet hands over his pink hello kitty apron before approaching him. “Who? That sickeningly rich guy with no face? What? What happened?” He asked jokingly. Knowing full well who the other was referring to, but has no idea about the context.

Reese sighed in irritation before fixing his glasses, “These two…”

They’re already running late. Yet they still found a time to do nonsense.

As if finding his long time mate, Paul looked at Louie eyes sparkling and without blinking, “That man once again managed to acquire another land in the southern isle. Not only that, but I heard he’s coming back here in our country for good. The reason seems to be because he’s getting married.” The smile on his face grew before leaning forward as the coach made a squeaky sound. Louie subconsciously mimicked his behavior after sitting on the opposite side. “What… what? Why are you giving me that look?”

“Ask me who’s the lucky bride.”

“Who?”

“Tori Relvena.”

“Daebak. The Tori Relvena?!”

Nodding, Paul continued to tie his shoes and continued, “Can you even believe it? An actress gets to marry our commander hahahahahaha.” Slapping his knees in disbelief, Paul laughed heartily. “I wonder if we’re invited to the wedding though.”

Reese clicked his tongue.

Archilles Ren Calisto, age 24. A person with a very complex mind and a complex world with a complex life.

That person is their commander.

He is known as a very prominent figure in the city of Yllenia, due to him being the very first person to become the CEO of a multinational technology company that specializes in consumer electronics, computer software, and online services at such a young age. In which he had built the Onyx Incorporation and managed it by himself.

Reese butted in the two’s conversation, “The commander hadn’t released an official statement regarding that issue, so all are still some baseless rumors.“ He gave them a glare. “If you guys value your life, it would be best for you to shut your mouths.”

Many look up to him as a model, an inspiring figure for most teens who wished to become successful in the future. It wasn’t an exaggeration if all people in the Vyseni knew him as one of the wealthiest, influential, and powerful people in their country.

“Eyy, what’s with the grumpy attitude so early in the morning?” Paul stood up from the couch before wrapping his arms around Reese’s neck. The former threw him yet another glare. “We’re just curious who will be our next commander, y’know? Aren’t you the same???”

Calisto is one of the wealthiest clans that has existed for a long time since Vyseni became a country. However, it was also no secret that Archilles, the young CEO who’s known to have no face as he never appeared on official gatherings, left the clan not long after graduating from college. The Calistos have been quiet since then. So it is unknown whether he left or was disowned by the clan.

Nobody knows what happened inside Calisto's gates before he left and started his own company. Nevertheless, because of his high IQ and superb talents, he was able to graduate early with a degree in Business Management and Information Technology.

It wasn't all that difficult for a natural born genius. Given that he has Calisto's blood flowing through his vein, it wasn't difficult for him to find resources that would allow him to graduate earlier than most people his age.

With a loud grunt, Paul quickly retreated his arms as he clutched his painful stomach that Reese elbowed. The former looked at him with disgust on his face and said, “Our commander will always be and will only be our current commander. I will not let such an insignificant little fox be part of this team and hinder our work. And I know the commander thinks the same. So stop your pointless bullshits and get me the files for our next mission!”

“Well, the commander only needed a wife to secure his position in the clan, right? So, whoever the bride is, whether it is true that the he will only use her and be thrown away after it is over is none of our business. We need not to interfere with the commander’s decision.” said Yuan, who came in through the door with a box of milk in his hand. He lazily sat on the couch and expressionlessly drank his drink.

Despite the Calisto's silence after Archilles left the clan, a subsidiary of this clan, the Toren House, continued to support Archilles even after he declared independence. Archilles was unable to refuse their gratitude for entrusting him with one of their small electronic companies. It was already rotting, but miraculously, it grew into one of the best companies in the country of Vyseni, and it was all because of one person.

Archilles undoubtedly shook the world with his consistently outstanding performance ever since thrn.

However famous he is in the business industry, Archilles never once revealed his identity out in the public except those few business partners he entrusts. Ever since his popularity started to rise as a teenage prodigy into a tycoon businessman, all sorts of pictures about him disappeared. Aside from the fact that he’s a person who was kicked out of the Calisto clan, no more details of him were found. Rumor has it that he encounters a deadly disease that requires his isolation, while others simply ignore his lack of presence since his handsome secretary would usually stand in as a proxy.

This made his character as a mysterious tycoon businessman rise. His values alone are as high as the heavens. Many were curious, and so it is not a doubt that the rumors about him getting married quickly spread out through the entire Vyseni.

However, something happened to the Calisto’s that gave Archilles no choice but to come back.

The ill-fallen patriarch of the Callisto’s declared that the next heir of the clan will only be someone worthy, and has shown his true skills and capability of handling their clan no matter if he or she declared independence. All his children and grandchildren will be given an equal chance to compete. Yet, it is clear as day that Archilles has a higher chance of obtaining that seat considering his amazing feat of handling his own company at such a young age.

However, there was this insane condition that the old man added.

That person should be married.

  • His Little Assassin   Chapter Fifty-One

Consequences."Let's talk about what you did with the request-command that I clearly told you not to do." Mr. Black's expression turned serious. He folded his hands before leaning forward to rest both arms on his desk. "Let me tell you the reason why I never told anyone about their existence, except to you which I now regret. I never would have thought that you would use it after all the warnings I gave you." Avyanna didn't retort. To be honest, Avyanna hasn't yet heard the reason why he forbade the request-commands from being known in the organization, which is the very first thing he did right after he stepped up as the head of the XYS. So she didn't have an idea how dire the situation really is. "I already told you about the consequences once an assassin utters the oath and requests a command directly to the head—they will either end up dead, or be stripped of their title as assassins and be thrown to them. The XYS will no longer be their homes, nor will they be able to go ba

  • His Little Assassin   AUTHOR'S NOTE

Hello! I apologise for the lack of updates over the last few months. The thing is, I had my first ever blue screen problem around the end of January, and I didn't have the chance to fix it until this Wednesday. Because my brain can't function or generate ideas while I'm not at my computer, I became inactive shortly after finishing the first arc. Sorry! The good news is that I was still able to use my Android phone to produce a few drafts for the second arc and even revised the entire first arc. Although I can't promise to update every day this month, expect the story to continue:) I'll make sure to finish my book before I graduate. I know I've lost a lot of readers by now, but that's okay. My objective is to finish my first book and use it as a stepping stone to becoming a much better writer and producing far more books than I could ever conc
