As I walk out of the school's building, I hear my name being called behind me and I turn back only to be met with Jordan who was obviously trying to catch up with me.
How fast do I walk tho?
With these short legs of mine, I have to jog-walk beside Luca.
Jordan finally reaches where I'm standing, whose cheeks tinted red, panting with exertion.
"Hey Iris." He says, his lips stretching with a smile.
Cute.
"Hey Jordan, what's up?" I smile back, gripping the straps of my backpack tightly.
"Uhmm, I was wondering if you'd be up to go to a little Cafe I know and study for our project..." He asks, and I purse my lips thinking about it for a minute, "It's a five minutes walk from here, I promise and it all depends on if you're willing to go today." He interjects immediately he sees the look on my face.
"Uhh, sur
I wake up today with a bright smile on my face, thankfully it's still early. I walk to my closet to bring out a black sleeved shirt, a black ripped boyfriend jeans and a pair of matching black bra and panties. I step into the bathroom, put my dirty clothes in the hamper before sighing loudly. Two more days to go Iris, I sigh before going to grab another pad. Stepping out of the hot shower really became a real struggle, but soon I was out. Already rushing to dry myself off and apply body lotion. I put on my outfit, apply a little makeup which consisted of eyeliner and lipgloss before styling my curls in a high ponytail. I top my look today with a pair of black vans before picking up my phone to see two texts messages, one from Luca and the other from Tasha both saying they were going to come pick me up in fifteen minutes' time.
Soon enough, AP English arrives and I step into the class a few minutes before the teacher arrives. The first thing I see when I step into the classroom is a mop of wavy brown hair, focusing intently on a book on his desk. Jordan. As if sensing my gaze on him, he raises his head up from his book and sends me a wide smile as I walk over to him. Just as I walk closer to him, I hear snickers and giggles of girls around me, but I brush it off thinking they were probably laughing at something else. Because I was a nobody here. "Hey Jordan, I'm so so sorry for what happened last night." I rush out all in one breath. Grimacing at the memory of last night. "Luca is a bit of a hot head." He laughs nervously, "But I understand, I mean if I have a girlfriend as beautiful as you I'd get upset when I see her getting ice cream with some other guy." He lau
11 YEARS AGO, THANKSGIVING, 2010. I sat on my little chair close to my pink vanity mirror, looking at my Mama's reflection in the mirror, whose eyes are trained on my hair and whose hands work skillfully to get my thick curls done right. Most families were and are happy by this time, sitting on the dining chair, eating roasted turkey and any Thanksgiving dish of their choice, just like us. Mama's warm voice snaps me out of my thoughts. "All done baby, you look so beautiful." Her smooth voice says, wrapping around me like a warm blanket. I take time to admire her features, her skin brown like mine. Bryson took a little of Papa's skin which is a bit darker than that of Mama and I. My features are a mix of the both of them, my small nose, full lips and brown eyes from mama and my thick brows and dimples from my Dad. She k
I wake up immediately, with a few drops of perspiration on my face, my heart beating rapidly as if trying to come out of my chest. I wipe my palm over my forehead, my mind screaming for Bryson to be here with me right now. I needed Bryson. I walk downstairs to the kitchen to get a glass of cold water, before releasing that it was morning already. I go back to my room, hurriedly take a shower before dressing up and going back downstairs to make breakfast. I make for just myself since uncle Tyson isn't up yet. After that I decide to binge watch Power Book, catching up on all the episodes I missed. An hour later, uncle Tyson comes downstairs, "Good morning, Uncle Ty. Pancakes or scrambled eggs?" I ask, smiling widely at him, as I stand up to go to the kitchen. "Morning, Iris." He yawns, "Scrambled eggs pl
He stalks towards my shivering form on the bed, before landing on me. I let out a loud, "Ummph" at his weight. And I spread my thighs open to accommodate him. "Get off me, you big bear." I groan, which makes him chuckle and I chuckle at his chuckle. If that makes any sense. Our laughter dies down and he looks at me with so much lust. His grey eyes are getting darker and his eyelids are lowering. He rests his weight on one arm while the other hand grips my waist tightly. "This is where you're supposed to kis-" I'm cut off by his lips slamming against mine roughly, the kiss is heated and full of desire. My mind becomes foggy and all I can think of are his lips and the erection digging into my thigh which makes me gasp. This gives him the opportunity to plunge his tongue into my mouth and suddenly it's a battle of tongues.
"I really wanted to punch you, you know." Tasha sends a glare my way as we walk to our table out of the cafeteria. "Yeah sunshine, you're supposed to tell us things. Not hide things from us." Jackson backs her up absent-mindedly, as he types furiously on his phone. "Yes! We're your best friends. And now you don't want us to beat her up." Tasha says, puffing air from her nose as she plops down on one of the bleachers. "Please don't beat up anyone Tasha," I laugh at her anger, "Same goes for you Jackson. No funny play." "Tasha's the male here, not me." Jackson shrugs a smile on his lips. And almost immediately, their banter starts. I start to think about last night, my heart clenching tightly at the memory. After he had an orgasm, I stood up to give him a kiss. Before my hands went to his back and he froze.
"I can't believe we're finally doing this." Tasha squeals, hugging Luke's arm from where they are seated at the back seat as we drive out of my driveway. "Yeahhh." I say dryly. "Me too." I gaze outside the window, shivering at the chilly evening. I was getting ready to watch a series I missed when I received a call from Tasha saying they were parked on my driveway. I completely forgot that it was Wednesday and the movie date was tonight. Ever since our fight, Luca and I haven't crossed paths and seeing him today made my eyes burn and I almost wanted to jump on him. But I stopped myself after I saw the cold look in his eyes. Instead I sat down quietly in the passenger seat, mumbled a quiet "Hey." and listened to the radio. "Where is Jackson?" I ask Tasha, looking at her through the rearview mirror. But immediately I look away when I realize what was happening. "No, he's riding with Matthew." L
"I'll miss you." I sob as Bryson, Uncle Ty and I stand in front of Bryson's dorm on campus. "I'll miss you too, pickles." He laughs, poking on my cheeks. "I don't understand why your break has to end so soon." I sniff. "They said two months but all they could let you spend was a month." I grumble, refusing to let go of his arm. "That's fucked." He mutters jokingly. But I could see right through him. "Really fucked." "I don't think Bryson can get in if you keep clinging onto him like that, Iris." Uncle Ty jokes, looking at the both of us fondly. "Well, that's the plan. I don't want him to get in." I pout at Uncle Ty. "Why did you have to grow up so fast and leave highschool?" I nudge Bryson, a glare on my face. "Must be the hormones." He answers my question sarcastically. "I hate you." &nb
