Lily looked around the beautiful garden fixing her large canvas there, her eyes moved around the place trying to find the best picture for her art but nothing got her attention. She bit the edge of the paint brush until her bright blue eyes paused at the particular couple, her eyes glimmered with an idea that could sprung up a story in her mind.
The art exhibition she had taken part in actually had some rules and the biggest requirement was to build a story, each picture should signify the lineage of the story she wanted to convey and the more deeper it would be, the bigger chances she would have in winning the competition. She blinked for a few seconds and watched the beautiful scene before letting her fingers do the magic.
Liliana was extremely a clean artist, she was great at mixing colors and bringing life to her art almost making them realistic. The picture captured all the important details like the few small butterflies swirling around the flowers looking like bugs from a far, her smile widened when she watched the seated old couple leaning into each other's arms, she placed her head on his shoulder while he held her body near his chest watching the silent row of colorful flowers.
It was near the evening when the old couple finally moved and stood up, instead of coming to the city's road, they walked deeper in the garden, maybe there was a small village where they lived. She noticed her painting missing some details and colors so she decided to complete it after reaching the home.
After coming here, there was one thing Liliana missed the most, her house. The peace and the joy she felt in the four walls of her house wasn't present here. Charlotte provided her with everything she needed but the behaviour of the servants and the rude attitude of the people here left her slightly uncomfortable, she had never treated someone this badly.
She had a little expectation from Charlotte's parents but she was utterly disappointed when she saw how cruelly Charlotte's father scolded the maid for adding a little more sugar than usual in his coffee, she was more stunned when she saw Charlotte's mother firing the servant on the spot for not greeting her within a second she arrived at home. She always thought Charlotte was always little different and rude with people having lower status but now she understood she got it from her parents.
She showed them as much as respect she could but after seeing their awful behaviour with servants she distant herself from them and hardly found time to converse with Charlotte, and surprisingly her friend didn't even try visiting her. So eventually Liliana decided to change her accommodation, she was grateful of Charlotte letting her live there but Lily knew she couldn't change their rules but at least she could leave that place for her own mental peace.
She talked with Charlotte and her parents making an excuse that she had found a few inspirations for her art and those are closer to the accommodation she had rented for herself. With Alexander's help she was able to rent an apartment after all she wouldn't be living in that apartment for long. In the last month of the exhibition the agency will provide the participants with hotel rooms.
Finally after a long time she found a mental peace, she smiled laid on the small bed but the silent surroundings and no one to serve her like a slave saved so much time for her to not feel bad for hours. After having lunch she settled the canvas and started refining the art she painted yesterday in the garden. She added a few things by herself to make it even more meaningful and mesmerising.
Finally after she was done, her eyes widened slightly finding the clock hitting 10 at night, she didn't even noticed she worked on the painting for straight 8 hours. Her stomach grumbled loudly making her feel the need to eat something. She pouted in sadness, she didn't even made anything for herself, so nodding she decided to grab something outside.
Using the searching tab, she found a few restaurants near her apartment and she was so hungry that she decided to run inside the the very first one and grab something for herself. But the moment she entered she regretted, it wasn't a small restaurant, everyone present there were cladded in high branded clothes, seemed like it wasn't the best option to have a simple dinner.
She looked down herself and blushed furiously, she was wearing a baggy sweatpants and a heavy oversized hoodie covering her head, her hair was tied in a messy bun and there was no jewelry or makeup on her face like all the presentable folks present there. She awkwardly smiled at the young man who neared her, he seemed like a front desk worker and thankfully he didn't judge her but simply questioned.
"Are you alone ma'am?" She hesitantly nodded and he simply motioned her to follow him and he escorted her to the only seat which had one chair in the corner. She sighed in relief and grabbed the menu.
The meal as expected was expensive but she was too hungry to leave this place and find another, so she decided to order one serving which ended up a little manageable for her, fortunately she didn't need to use her brother's card and even if she did she knew he would be beyond gleeful but she wanted to keep his money for emergencies.
After placing her order she looked around with bored face, she had nothing interesting in her phone as well, so she decided to observe the place maybe she would find soem inspiration here as well. But instead of finding an inspiration she found a view she never expected, her gaze froze for a second but soon her pupils expanded in alert.
Meanwhile
Cyril placed the last card and again he won, but there was no joy or satisfaction on his stern face, the men surrounding him raised his eyebrows, "Sir, are you alright?" Cyril raised his sharp gaze giving a curt nod.
"Yeah, I am not in the mood today, you guys continue." He left the money he bet on and won on the table making the worker smile in happiness but their joy was nowhere near the restless man.
He walked out of the room pulling a pack of the cigarette before letting one dug between his teeth, he lit it up and stood near the open spot where the pool was based. He noticed certain eyes stating at him, just like being the women magnet he caught the eyes of several women, even the one he knew before but none of them sparked his interest. He always thought he was living fine life with no tension of having a wife or children at home, his business, lonely house and a few colorful nights were enough for him to live but from the past few months the satisfaction of years back didn't seem to keep on going anymore.
His Hazel eyes looked around the pool area and nothing was worth his attention until he heard a soft voice with weird accent saying something to him in English and the moment he turned around, the cigarette in his hand fell off his fingers, his body caught off guard and he didn't get the chance to balance himself when a small frame crashed against his well build ones throwing both of them away from the spot he was standing. Cyril was still sharp minded to hold the edge of the pool to not fall inside and even wrapped his arm around the body above his to balance the person as well.
His narrowed eyes snapped up to the intruder and he froze, he stared speechlessly at those light blue eyes, they stared so innocently, worriedly and panicked at him leaving him absent minded. But his attention on her eyes was short lived when she suddenly removed her gaze from him and looked at the side he was standing earlier making him follow her gaze.
There was a crystal glass chandelier right above his head, if she hadn't pushed him, he would have cracked open his head for sure. And God knows what dirt and evil would have spread on the floor after he would have gotten the hit. His dark gaze steadily went back to the woman cradles against his chest above him with weird emotions.
Her those bright shimmery eyes went back to his giving him the privilege to observe those sinless sky colored eyes which left him speechless for the first time in his whole life. He didn't even care to hold his reputation intact at that time when the several people surrounded them and everyone saw how, the woman tried to pull her body away from him but he held her waist tightly making her stare in his eyes with nervousness. She obviously didn't like the unwanted attention on them.
"M-Mister, please let me go," This burned something in him, something that wasn't there for months.
Those nervous, awkward eyes, the way she kept on looking everywhere but no his eyes made something tingle in his chest. This wasn't good, the monster wasn't supposed to be tempted by someone as innocent as her, he was destined to someone like him, someone as merciless and cruel as him then,
Why was he so tempted by this unknown enchantress?

Author's Pov"Sir!" Finally the giant man bothered to loosen up his hold on her giving her a chance to stand up and tidy up her shirt, she glanced at the man and tried to walk away not appreciating the crowd around them but her chubby wrist was gripped by a large hand pulling her petite frame back.Liliana had always been a chubby girl, she didn't have the model like figure and she liked herself this way only, lily loved food and she never was deprived off any kind of qusine especially when her mother motivated her to try whatever she liked. Author's Pov"Are you ready?" Lily stood up from the dressing chair after finding Charlotte leaning against the doorframe sipping on the glass of water she grabbed from the kitchen."Yeah." The moment she stood up, Charlotte frowned at her, she raked her eyes up and down shaking her head slightly like she was disapproving Lily's dress."What are you even wearing? We are going to a pool party, not some tea party!" Lily frowned looking down at herself, she was wearing a black knee sized dress which she thought would be fine for the occasion after all she wasn't actually going to jump in the pool anyways. She was just going there because Charlotte insisted on taking her."I think its fine." Charlotte sighed placing the glass on the side table before shrugging off."Fine, as you wish. Let's go." Lily did hesitate a bit watching how Charlotte didn't look happy with her dressing, and after seeing Charlotte's shimmery mini dress with high heels and hair curled at the end she knew maybe she l
Author's PovLiliana gulped after coming out of the villa, she palmed her thumping chest, she was terrified. The earlier encounter she had with that unknown man had left her completely paralyzied in pure fear, for a second she thought her intuition of him having a dangerous aura around him was just her assumption but after his twisted smile and those meaningful glances he shot her while walking out made her run out right away. How did he even know her name? She rubbed her temple and took out of her phone feeling hunger striking her stomach, she had no heart to go back inside and eat anything, that man did good at scaring the shit out of her. She finally found a small Cafe near the villa but her eyes slightly tensed up watching the cloudy sky. What it started to rain? The Cafe was just a few minutes away and she didn't want to waste money on hiring a cab so she decided to walk towards her destiny. She was wearing a box heals and thankfully it didn't make harder for her to walk, she was
Author's Pov"I understand Char, but I can't attend this party. I have a lot of work pending." Lily said working on her first painting which hadn't been completed even after all her work, she wasn't just satisfied with it yet and kept on refining the errors whenever her eyes fell on it."Fine, Lada wanted to meet you, but its fine if you don't want to." Lily sighed placing her paint brush down."Char, I understand your concern for me, but I really don't want to get tangled with her son, I am fine the way I am." Charlotte hummed before the maid entered her room and informed her that someone came to meet her making her chuckle softly."What happened?" Lily asked when Charlotte's small chuckled entered her ears making her curious at her reaction of what maid might had informed her."Nothing much, I will talk to you later, take care." With that she hung up leaving the curious cat stare at her phone. Lily wasn't insanely a nosy person but she definitely wanted to know every details of what
Author's PovLily stared at the sharp eyed man with her flustered gaze as she shifted trying to distance themselves even more, she had never been proposed or pursued like this, the way he said those words and the desperation in his eyes for her to stay for him was so intense that she couldn't even gather her strength to speak. Lily was draped in an ankle length light pink dress, her hair was tied in a messy bun and her feet were covered with matching slippers which she liked wearing inside the house. She never imaged Cyril to appear before her in this hour and could never even think of having an interest in her. Lily after her first experience with her ex-boyfriend never tried to gamble on wanting to have a relationship again. After her break up with her ex, she decided to let go of this love shackles and simply focus on her career, Lily trusted her parents to make a better decision for her, she knew one day when she will be ready to settle down they will find a match for her and she
Author's PovWith his palm resting on his cheek, Cyril stared at the curious girl who was busy looking around the place he brought her to. She had a small smile playing over her lips as she explored this new area of this beautiful city which she hadn't before. It was a beach, completely isolated with no living being anywhere to be seen, only the shining board filled with lights was placed there with the dining table on which their dinner was placed was settled."You know I am your date, you should give me your attention not to the place." Cyril's deep complaining voice entered her ears as she instantly snapped her head to him blinking at him."Uhmm, sorry, I just love the look of this place, I couldn't get the inspiration for my next painting but now I have an idea," Cyril raised his eyebrows he straightened his back and looked at her with curious eyes."What idea? I definitely want to know," For the first time Lily shook her head with a teasing smile."Nope, when I will be done with
Author's PovLily's eyes went towards the vibrating phone laid on the side table as she gulped, as expected it was again Cyril calling her. She grabbed the source of her annoyance and switched off the phone before throwing it on the sofa. Her displeased gaze went back to the painting she was busy with until his bombarding calls came in.It had been 3 days of that terrifying night with Cyril, him pulling her in the water didn't upset her as much as the humiliation he gave her. Maybe it was just a simple kiss from his point of view but it was insulting to her. She didn't like how he didn't care if she was ready or not, he just wanted to kiss her and he did it, never really caring about her want.Liliana wasn't used to such misbehaviour, she was never handled like that or met any man who would put such a dominance over her, Cyril dropped her back to her apartment, he didn't for once apologized or looked regretful for going all caveman on her. Rather he seemed relaxed and satisfied and th
Author's PovA month later Lily smiled as she stared at the lunch box in her hands walking towards the company Cyril told her about. She wanted to surprise him, she had been trying to learn a few dishes so she could cook for him. She still remember their small interaction where he confessed he never was able to taste homemade food, her heart still felt heavy for him remembering his words.Cyril lost his mother during the delivery, she lost too much blood and couldn't he saved, it was a miracle that he didn't die. While his father was never there for him, he was always busy with his business and never was attentive to Cyril. Lily didn't like prying in someone's past especially when she had decided to built a different future with him, so she didn't push him much to reveal much when she realized how hesitant and reluctant he seemed. It was too early to open up about their deep secrets so she decided to give them a little time, Lily also shared about her family and why she didn't want t
Author's Pov"What do you think you're doing?" Lily screamed when Cyril effortlessly walked towards the one bed plastered on the corner dragging her with him because of their hands being clapped with the handcuff. He sat down gracefully tugging at his coat, she stared at him in pure disbelief becoming speechless for a few seconds, "Are you retarded? I said ask him to let me out and open this!" She once again struggled trying to flap her hand out of the handcuffs but to no avail.Cyril looked up at her with a small frown like he was confused, "But you wanted me to locked up? It's just exactly what you wanted." She closed her eyes taking a deep breath, she didn't want to do something in her anger after all her anger had always been her biggest enemy, she hardly contained herself together in anger."You misbehaved with me, kissed me against my will! You should be the one locked here not me!" Cyril smirked shrugging in response."That you should ask the officer, he locked us both here." S
Author's PovHis searing kiss came completely unexpectedly, she didn't even in her wildest dreams thought of him doing anything like this especially when all she did was to insult him from the time they again met. Her struggles went frantic wanting him off her body but his massive strength held her on the spot. His tight grip on her chubby wrists made want to cry in frustration, she had never thought her hands could be this small compared to his. His one hand was enough to restrain her both, tears blurred her vision in both pain and disgust. His kiss wasn't just a simple one, it held the pressure of wanting to possess her, the need to glue them to his in order to make her realise the power in held. His body was thrusted between her legs in a way that even if she tried to kick him she couldn't have any access to his body, but still she didn't give up, her struggles didn't subside even for a second. While his kiss was as needy and harsh as it was initially. He made sure to force his ton
Author's PovThe very next second her arm was grabbed by a large hand as he roughly jerked he'd pinning her against the canvas, it shook a bit but didn't fall making her snap her wide eyes to his blazing narrow ones. Her hands instinctively snapped to his chest as she tried to keep a distance between their bodies but Cyril's focus stayed over her troubled face."What do you think you're doing?" Lily mumbled trying to push his body back but he kept her near him glaring at her."What's the meaning of this?" His deep voice snarled against her face earning a small sarcastic smile from her."Why? Didn't like the artistic representation of your actions?" Her sarcasm instead of making him angry brought a small chuckle from his lips as he leaned his face closer to her ignoring her hands which were trying to push back his chest."There were so many memories of ours, and you found only this worth being painted?" Lily suddenly fell silent, she didn't want to tell him how to cope up with the hear
Author's Pov"Ms. Liliana, you will have to join the company from tomorrow onwards, also you remember tradition right?" Lily stared at the smiling woman who supposedly was Cyril's company's head of gallery. Fortunately she was a sweet woman, Lily nodded her head and the woman smiled widely before leaving her alone.Tradition, she remembered it. It was years long tradition to bring a gift for the judge in whose company the winner would be selected. And now she has to give that bastard a gift as well, she scrunched her nose in disdain. She wouldn't want to spent even a cent on that lousy man but she knew it was the tradition and she solely couldn't change it, her lack of respect towards this culture might bring bad impression on her professionally.Lily went to the church for a peace of mind, when she was little, her mother and aunt used to bring her and she eventually grown this habit of visiting church whenever she felt down. Taking a seat on the bench she stared at the people praying
Author's Pov"The winner of International Art Competition is, Liliana." The massive rounds of claps erupted from the crowd as Liliana with a bright smile approached the stage, but the moment she stepped on the stage her smiled dimmed a bit when she noticed the man holding the award, she gulped as her steps faltered slightly but regaining her composure she smiled at the other judges and shook their hands before nearing the man who hadn't removed his eyes from her from the time he casted his vote. The vote which wasn't given to her by him. Everyone thought that Cyril will choose her series especially with the way he stared at her painting longer than any other judge but to everyone's surprise, he stepped away and voted for the painting which the first judge did. But thankfully her paintings were appreciated by the audience and the last judge, she had the highest votes in audience choice category and also 3 out of 5 votes from critics which made her the winner.Liliana smiled at the au
Author's PovLily smiled softly watching the crowd gathering around her side of exhibition where all her paintings were set. She felt a huge burden lowering from her heart finding a reason to smile again, yes this was it. This was the exact scene she had waited to enjoy for years and now finally she was able to see it, there was no way for her to feel sad or think about the terrible two months she had.The exhibition was held by the infamous painter of the Russia, and a few investors, all of the judges will rate the paintings according to their creativity and critic followed by the audience's choice as well. There were a few pros and cons of this exhibition especially for Lily as if she lost this competition. She will have to use her brother's help to organise a gallery event for her which she most definitely didn't want to.But if she won, in which she didn't have much confident still, if she did she will have the privilege to work in one of the judge's company where she will be assi
Author's Pov"My poor daughter, you went so much on your own. " Amelia, Lily's mother said caressing her cheek as tears filled her eyes. Lily looked down not letting another tear out because of that man anymore. She wordlessly crawled forward burying her face in her mother's stomach as she hugged her tightly, "I am sorry mom, I disappointed you again." She whispered but this made her mother instantly peck her forehead holding her tightly in her arms."No, you didn't, it wasn't your fault, he just never deserved such a pure woman like you." Amelia caressed her head while Lily finally opened her bloodshot eyes looking up in her mother's soft ones."Really? You're not disappointed of I being so weak?" Amy sighed shaking her head."You're not weak my love, you're so strong that even when you were going through so much pain alone, you didn't break down, only strong person could handle such a pain with maturity like you did, I am so proud of you." Amelia said smiling through her tears as s
Author's PovLily frowned watching the packed luggage of hers as she laid leisurely on the bed, her eyes steadily went towards the ceiling feeling a weird burdened sensation engulfing her insides. She palmed her heart hearing its rapid throbbing, she bit her inner cheek blinking a few times. Something wasn't right.Lily had no idea what was wrong with her but the moment she finished packing her things, she had this weird feeling something like she shouldn't go back there, but finally accepting the fact that it was just because of what happened to her last time there made her feel this way. Brushing the creepy feeling away she tried closing her eyes to take a short nap only for her room's door getting softly knocked."Oh, Sis, come in please." Lily smiled watching her soon to be sister in law pushing her head in her room asking for her permission.Serenity smiled walking near her making Lily sit up as well, "How are you?" Lily nodded her head assuring her."I am good, I just missed you
Author's Pov"Cyril," The man laid there stirred in his sleep as the soft familiar voice pulled him back from the nightmare he was used to embracing before. His red hazel eyes slowly parted letting them meet the worried blue hued ones, her big ocean eyes stared down at him with an unfamiliar concern which he hadn't seen in anyones eyes for him before. She gently palmed his cheek caressing his beard jaw with her soft thumb. "Are you ok?" His eyelashes flickered at her question, was he OK? He had no idea, the man he had became today didn't hear these questions before so he couldn't come up with any answer as well. She leaned her chubby face closer to his not pausing the warmth from her thumb rubbing away his burdened heart, "Nightmare?" She whispered making the rigid man finally nod wordlessly bringing a small smile on her full lips."It's fine, it was just a dream nothing else." No it wasn't. Sometimes he also wished it was just a dream but it actually wasn't. He had lived those momen
