"I understand Char, but I can't attend this party. I have a lot of work pending." Lily said working on her first painting which hadn't been completed even after all her work, she wasn't just satisfied with it yet and kept on refining the errors whenever her eyes fell on it.
"Fine, Lada wanted to meet you, but its fine if you don't want to." Lily sighed placing her paint brush down.
"Char, I understand your concern for me, but I really don't want to get tangled with her son, I am fine the way I am." Charlotte hummed before the maid entered her room and informed her that someone came to meet her making her chuckle softly.
"What happened?" Lily asked when Charlotte's small chuckled entered her ears making her curious at her reaction of what maid might had informed her.
"Nothing much, I will talk to you later, take care." With that she hung up leaving the curious cat stare at her phone. Lily wasn't insanely a nosy person but she definitely wanted to know every details of what was going in her friend's life.
Finally laying the phone down, she stared at the painting laid infront of her, her eyes stared at the every details and finally a small smile appeared over her lips. "Perfect." She whispered nodding her head with satisfied grin, standing up she pulled the dirtied apron off her body before making her way towards the kitchen.
She had a little leftover from yesterday so she decided to eat it instead of wasting it. She was busy placing the food on the table when suddenly the bell rang of her apartment making her frown. Her eyes glanced between the door and clock, it was 8 pm, who would might be at this hour. She sighed wanting to have a peaceful dinner but eventually went towards the door and opened it only to freeze in shock.
Her confused bewildered blue eyes met with the unexpected Hazel ones, she didn't expect to see him here. "Mr. Sokolov?" She murmured watching the tall man standing there holding something in his hand.
He smiled warmly at her, "Hey, I hope I hadn't disturbed you, I brought us a delicious dinner." Raising his hand he showed her the shopping bag in his hand before trying to step in but Lily stayed on the door step increasing her grip over the door knob.
"Uhmm, I think it's not appropriate--" Her words were cut short as he chuckled softly shaking his head.
"You're scared of me, now it's so obvious." Lily tried to deny his words but he leaned forward bending his head to match her eye level.
"But why? I have never done anything to make you scared of me, Ana, have I?" Lily suddenly felt a wave of regret washing over her, he indeed was right. From the very first time they met he had been really nice and gentle to her then why was she so scared of him? Maybe because of his dark aura, he looked way too dangerous for her to be comfortable around him.
"Can I come in? I seriously have no bad attention." Lily stared at him for a few seconds in pure silence, his eyes were full of sincerity and the gentleness in them made her finally let the crack on her heart be visible as she stepped away letting the tall man enter her apartment.
"How did you find my apartment?" She asked the question which had been bugging her the moment he appeared on her doorstep.
Cyril treated her apartment like his own as he removed his coat placing it on her couch and walked towards the kitchen, "I followed you last night, I was afraid of leaving you alone especially when you're not familiar with this city." Lily shot him a distasteful glare not liking his stalking, he raised his hands when he realised she didn't appreciate his efforts to protect her.
"I swear on my every ancestor I didn't mean any harm, I just wanted to keep you safe." He mumbled before placing the four plates filled with the food she liked. That night in the restaurant, while talking Lily shared what she liked the most in Russia from the time she came here.
She felt another crack against her chest realising how attentively he listened to her banter that night, he didn't only remember the food she mentioned she liked but also the dessert and even the salad was just the way she preferred. Her wavered blue eyes raised to his face watching him closely without any word as the man was busy pushing the left overs she heated for herself and replaced them with freshly bought ones.
Cyril was undeniably handsome, his light brown hair with a hint of blonde in them swayed around as he was busy making sure everything was arranged correctly on the table, his striking attractive hazel eyes were unmatched when it comes to being dominant only through eyes. He was an epitome of perfection, with muscular body and a perfectly heighten man.
Her eyes finally slipped down to the only feature she hadn't given much attention to but before she could assess his perfectly shaped lips the man snapped his eyes to her startling her for a few seconds. She didn't even realize how she was literally checking him out and also the way he took his time to assess her messy appearance but in that matter the man was more sneaky than her.
"It's ready, come." Lily suddenly felt like it wasn't her house but his and after she took the seat she looked at him.
"I seriously want to know why you came here?" Cyril paused his hand as he grabbed the spoon before raising his eyes to her.
"I don't know, I just," He bit his lower lip finding it hard for him to accept the fact that wasn't made up by him instead he actually was honest when he continued.
"I just missed the way we had a dinner that night," He whispered but it was loud enough for her to hear, she watched as the man held the spoon tightly before smiling at her but there was no joy in it.
"I didn't like having company when I dined, I thought I like that way only but the night you sat with me, talked and filled my dinner with life, I realized I didn't like dining alone, I was just used to doing so." Lily stared at such a dangerous looking man saying such depressing words.
She gulped feeling warmth spreading over her heart, she didn't even realise how her hand went forward and she placed it over his which had paled because of him gripping the spoon too tightly. Cyril gazed at her tiny palm being placed over his before guiding his emotionless eyes to her warm smiley ones.
"It's ok, if you want to, you can come and have dinner with me, as long as I am in Russia I can give you a company." She mumbled smiling at him, Cyril felt a trembling sensation erupting through his chest as he watched her innocent eyes with his blank ones but the chaos in his heart was something only he knew.
"Now let's eat, also tell me how was your day?" Lily mumbled pulling her hand off his and grabbing her spoon, Cyril felt a ting of emptiness and reluctance when she pulled her hand back.
He gazed at his hand for a few seconds before sharing his boring day with her, Lily as usual shared her day with full enthusiasm, she didn't leave even a single details of how her day was but her next words kind of froze Cyril's carefree smile as he finished his meal and glared at the table.
"Your friend wants to introduce you to someone?" Cyril's low voice entered her ears halting her banter as she nodded in affirmation.
"Yeah, it's someone named Ivon Sechin, his mother just likes English girls so yeah, oh! We both finished our meals, let me take it." She started cleaning the table.
Cyril unbuttoned a few buttons of his shirt taking a few deep breaths before he stared at her back as she placed the dirty dishes in the washing basin, "And you, are you interested in him?" His question caught her off guard as she instantly denied washing her hands.
"Of course not, I don't even know him, also I came here solely for my competition nothing else." As soon as she completed her words, she turned around only to gasp out.
The tall man was right behind her leaving no space between them, she almost bumped in him, she gasped out stepping back grabbing the edge of the kitchen's counter before snapping her head up as the man didn't waste a second and caged her between his arms leaning his face closer to her leaving her stiffen on her spot.
"Wh-" She flinched in surprise when he placed his index finger over her lips looking right in her bewildered blue eyes with his intensely dark hazel ones. Gone that warm smiley eyes or gloomy ones she witnessed a while ago, his eyes were full of darkness making it impossible for her read his eyes.
"And what if you get to know him? Will you like him? Give him a chance?" Lily gulped when the man questioned removing his finger from her lips but didn't lean back, her grip over the counter increased feeling her heart pounding uncontrollably.
"L-Like I said, I came here for my work nothing else." Cyril didn't look pleased with her answer as he leaned closer mingling their breaths.
"But I don't want you to stay here just for your work, Ana." He whispered with his deep hoarse voice, her bright blue eyes gazed unblinkingly in his dark hazel ones. She felt a chill running down her spine as he raised his hand let his slender finger graze her chubby cheek.
"Then what do you want me to stay for?" She mumbled matching his breathless whispers, a small smirk appeared over the handsome man's face as he let his dainty nails scratch her lower lip.
"Me, Stay for me, Моя невинная Ana."

Author's PovLily stared at the sharp eyed man with her flustered gaze as she shifted trying to distance themselves even more, she had never been proposed or pursued like this, the way he said those words and the desperation in his eyes for her to stay for him was so intense that she couldn't even gather her strength to speak. Lily was draped in an ankle length light pink dress, her hair was tied in a messy bun and her feet were covered with matching slippers which she liked wearing inside the house. She never imaged Cyril to appear before her in this hour and could never even think of having an interest in her. Lily after her first experience with her ex-boyfriend never tried to gamble on wanting to have a relationship again. After her break up with her ex, she decided to let go of this love shackles and simply focus on her career, Lily trusted her parents to make a better decision for her, she knew one day when she will be ready to settle down they will find a match for her and she
Author's PovWith his palm resting on his cheek, Cyril stared at the curious girl who was busy looking around the place he brought her to. She had a small smile playing over her lips as she explored this new area of this beautiful city which she hadn't before. It was a beach, completely isolated with no living being anywhere to be seen, only the shining board filled with lights was placed there with the dining table on which their dinner was placed was settled."You know I am your date, you should give me your attention not to the place." Cyril's deep complaining voice entered her ears as she instantly snapped her head to him blinking at him."Uhmm, sorry, I just love the look of this place, I couldn't get the inspiration for my next painting but now I have an idea," Cyril raised his eyebrows he straightened his back and looked at her with curious eyes."What idea? I definitely want to know," For the first time Lily shook her head with a teasing smile."Nope, when I will be done with
Author's PovLily's eyes went towards the vibrating phone laid on the side table as she gulped, as expected it was again Cyril calling her. She grabbed the source of her annoyance and switched off the phone before throwing it on the sofa. Her displeased gaze went back to the painting she was busy with until his bombarding calls came in.It had been 3 days of that terrifying night with Cyril, him pulling her in the water didn't upset her as much as the humiliation he gave her. Maybe it was just a simple kiss from his point of view but it was insulting to her. She didn't like how he didn't care if she was ready or not, he just wanted to kiss her and he did it, never really caring about her want.Liliana wasn't used to such misbehaviour, she was never handled like that or met any man who would put such a dominance over her, Cyril dropped her back to her apartment, he didn't for once apologized or looked regretful for going all caveman on her. Rather he seemed relaxed and satisfied and th
Author's PovA month later Lily smiled as she stared at the lunch box in her hands walking towards the company Cyril told her about. She wanted to surprise him, she had been trying to learn a few dishes so she could cook for him. She still remember their small interaction where he confessed he never was able to taste homemade food, her heart still felt heavy for him remembering his words.Cyril lost his mother during the delivery, she lost too much blood and couldn't he saved, it was a miracle that he didn't die. While his father was never there for him, he was always busy with his business and never was attentive to Cyril. Lily didn't like prying in someone's past especially when she had decided to built a different future with him, so she didn't push him much to reveal much when she realized how hesitant and reluctant he seemed. It was too early to open up about their deep secrets so she decided to give them a little time, Lily also shared about her family and why she didn't want t
Author's PovLily stirred in her sleep steadily opening her eyes, she habitually forwarded her hand to grab her phone from the side table but instead her hand met with something hard making her clear out of her vision. She moved her hand slightly feeling something like flesh under her palm, it was warm yet so hard making her snap her eyes to the person laid beside her in panic. Her wide blue eyes met with bare tanned flesh of the man laid beside her, he didn't have any restrain on her, they were just laying beside each other without making any physical contact but Lily still felt blush rising up her neck burning her whole face. She gulped when Cyril moved in his sleep turning his body in her direction still being deep in sleep. She gulped watching this unusual sight, his face was really like an art, her lips parted as she moved her pupils all over his face drinking in his every feature like she was painting his image in her mind. Her head tilted slightly letting her flashy ocean eyes
Author's Pov"No Alex, I don't think I can come back two months before the competition." She mumbled looking through the completed material placed in front of her, there was something missing in the painting, she laid down her whole heart yet she wasn't satisfied."It's your brother's marriage and you're going to skip it?" Lily chuckled at his grumpy voice before placing her brush down."I definitely won't, I will definitely come back a month before the wedding, but if I tried coming back this early my work will be put backwards." He sighed not wanting to argue with her anymore as he knew how much this competition meant to her."Alright, tell me about yourself, how are you doing? Did someone disturbed you?" As expected of her protective older brother, she was sure he was going to ask her if anyone tried hitting on their sister.Liliana badly wanted to share her whatever the relationship she had with Cyril with her brother but thinking of the extreme reactions she got from them after s
Author's Pov"Club, party, and shopping, are these the only things matters to you, you told me you will be joining your father's company soon but you didn't why?" Lily asked her nonchalant friend who ordered a drink for herself standing near the bar of the crowded club they came to.Charlotte glanced at her in irritation before swallowing the shot in one go, "Let me enjoy a few days of my freedom Lily, soon I will have to handle my father's business and also get married to make more alliances, my father already announced that his business isn't going well from sometime, so yeah I will be married soon so let me enjoy this time." Lily's eyes instantly saddened hearing her friends words.Lily already knew about Charlotte's father condition, it was inevitable that one day she will be married to some powerful man to make alliance. It had been going on for ages, her mother married her father for the same purpose and now Charlotte would be following the footsteps of her ancestors. Lily was l
Author's PovBehind the partition inside the car, the light sounds of kisses echoed, the man couldn't get enough of her as he rained multiple pecks all over her face before trailing them down her neck. She parted her lips breathing increasingly letting the starved man latch on her like an untamed beast.Cyril didn't waste a second and pulled her inside the car before shutting the partition and ordering the driver to start the car before settling the petite woman on his lap. He removed her heavy coat and muffler, the heater was on yet the heat erupting from their bodies set them on fire of desire and want.Lily was nervous, anxious and fearful, she felt every other emotion except unwillingness, she wanted this, she wanted him and she was sure of what she had decided on. She held onto his shoulders as the man zipped down her dress letting it fall on her shoulders loosely, the man took the advantage and thrusted his face in her cleavage. She urged her back letting out a soft moan making
Author's Pov"What do you think you're doing?" Lily screamed when Cyril effortlessly walked towards the one bed plastered on the corner dragging her with him because of their hands being clapped with the handcuff. He sat down gracefully tugging at his coat, she stared at him in pure disbelief becoming speechless for a few seconds, "Are you retarded? I said ask him to let me out and open this!" She once again struggled trying to flap her hand out of the handcuffs but to no avail.Cyril looked up at her with a small frown like he was confused, "But you wanted me to locked up? It's just exactly what you wanted." She closed her eyes taking a deep breath, she didn't want to do something in her anger after all her anger had always been her biggest enemy, she hardly contained herself together in anger."You misbehaved with me, kissed me against my will! You should be the one locked here not me!" Cyril smirked shrugging in response."That you should ask the officer, he locked us both here." S
Author's PovHis searing kiss came completely unexpectedly, she didn't even in her wildest dreams thought of him doing anything like this especially when all she did was to insult him from the time they again met. Her struggles went frantic wanting him off her body but his massive strength held her on the spot. His tight grip on her chubby wrists made want to cry in frustration, she had never thought her hands could be this small compared to his. His one hand was enough to restrain her both, tears blurred her vision in both pain and disgust. His kiss wasn't just a simple one, it held the pressure of wanting to possess her, the need to glue them to his in order to make her realise the power in held. His body was thrusted between her legs in a way that even if she tried to kick him she couldn't have any access to his body, but still she didn't give up, her struggles didn't subside even for a second. While his kiss was as needy and harsh as it was initially. He made sure to force his ton
Author's PovThe very next second her arm was grabbed by a large hand as he roughly jerked he'd pinning her against the canvas, it shook a bit but didn't fall making her snap her wide eyes to his blazing narrow ones. Her hands instinctively snapped to his chest as she tried to keep a distance between their bodies but Cyril's focus stayed over her troubled face."What do you think you're doing?" Lily mumbled trying to push his body back but he kept her near him glaring at her."What's the meaning of this?" His deep voice snarled against her face earning a small sarcastic smile from her."Why? Didn't like the artistic representation of your actions?" Her sarcasm instead of making him angry brought a small chuckle from his lips as he leaned his face closer to her ignoring her hands which were trying to push back his chest."There were so many memories of ours, and you found only this worth being painted?" Lily suddenly fell silent, she didn't want to tell him how to cope up with the hear
Author's Pov"Ms. Liliana, you will have to join the company from tomorrow onwards, also you remember tradition right?" Lily stared at the smiling woman who supposedly was Cyril's company's head of gallery. Fortunately she was a sweet woman, Lily nodded her head and the woman smiled widely before leaving her alone.Tradition, she remembered it. It was years long tradition to bring a gift for the judge in whose company the winner would be selected. And now she has to give that bastard a gift as well, she scrunched her nose in disdain. She wouldn't want to spent even a cent on that lousy man but she knew it was the tradition and she solely couldn't change it, her lack of respect towards this culture might bring bad impression on her professionally.Lily went to the church for a peace of mind, when she was little, her mother and aunt used to bring her and she eventually grown this habit of visiting church whenever she felt down. Author's Pov"The winner of International Art Competition is, Liliana." The massive rounds of claps erupted from the crowd as Liliana with a bright smile approached the stage, but the moment she stepped on the stage her smiled dimmed a bit when she noticed the man holding the award, she gulped as her steps faltered slightly but regaining her composure she smiled at the other judges and shook their hands before nearing the man who hadn't removed his eyes from her from the time he casted his vote. The vote which wasn't given to her by him. Everyone thought that Cyril will choose her series especially with the way he stared at her painting longer than any other judge but to everyone's surprise, he stepped away and voted for the painting which the first judge did. But thankfully her paintings were appreciated by the audience and the last judge, she had the highest votes in audience choice category and also 3 out of 5 votes from critics which made her the winner.Liliana smiled at the au

There were a few pros and cons of this exhibition especially for Lily as if she lost this competition. She will have to use her brother's help to organise a gallery event for her which she most definitely didn't want to.But if she won, in which she didn't have much confident still, if she did she will have the privilege to work in one of the judge's company where she will be assi
Author's Pov"My poor daughter, you went so much on your own. " Amelia, Lily's mother said caressing her cheek as tears filled her eyes. Lily looked down not letting another tear out because of that man anymore. She wordlessly crawled forward burying her face in her mother's stomach as she hugged her tightly, "I am sorry mom, I disappointed you again." She whispered but this made her mother instantly peck her forehead holding her tightly in her arms."No, you didn't, it wasn't your fault, he just never deserved such a pure woman like you." Amelia caressed her head while Lily finally opened her bloodshot eyes looking up in her mother's soft ones."Really? You're not disappointed of I being so weak?" Amy sighed shaking her head."You're not weak my love, you're so strong that even when you were going through so much pain alone, you didn't break down, only strong person could handle such a pain with maturity like you did, I am so proud of you." Amelia said smiling through her tears as s
Author's PovLily frowned watching the packed luggage of hers as she laid leisurely on the bed, her eyes steadily went towards the ceiling feeling a weird burdened sensation engulfing her insides. She palmed her heart hearing its rapid throbbing, she bit her inner cheek blinking a few times. Something wasn't right.Lily had no idea what was wrong with her but the moment she finished packing her things, she had this weird feeling something like she shouldn't go back there, but finally accepting the fact that it was just because of what happened to her last time there made her feel this way. Brushing the creepy feeling away she tried closing her eyes to take a short nap only for her room's door getting softly knocked."Oh, Sis, come in please." Lily smiled watching her soon to be sister in law pushing her head in her room asking for her permission.Serenity smiled walking near her making Lily sit up as well, "How are you?" Author's Pov"Cyril," The man laid there stirred in his sleep as the soft familiar voice pulled him back from the nightmare he was used to embracing before. His red hazel eyes slowly parted letting them meet the worried blue hued ones, her big ocean eyes stared down at him with an unfamiliar concern which he hadn't seen in anyones eyes for him before. She gently palmed his cheek caressing his beard jaw with her soft thumb. "Are you ok?" His eyelashes flickered at her question, was he OK? He had no idea, the man he had became today didn't hear these questions before so he couldn't come up with any answer as well. She leaned her chubby face closer to his not pausing the warmth from her thumb rubbing away his burdened heart, "Nightmare?" She whispered making the rigid man finally nod wordlessly bringing a small smile on her full lips."It's fine, it was just a dream nothing else." No it wasn't. Sometimes he also wished it was just a dream but it actually wasn't. He had lived those momen
