She was feeling nervous as she was walking inside the entrance. A lot of students were chatting and laughing. She was in such an environment for the first time. Her local college where she finished her elementary school was different from here. That was an all-girls’ school while he was co-head.
She was looking around in amazement. A few of the students found it odd, and they were laughing at her.
She looked around and felt a bit embarrassed. She was so busy staring around when she suddenly collided with someone. It was a girl who had colored her hair blond and tied it up in a high ponytail.
“Watch out, freak,” said the girl, annoyed because she split the juice she was holding on the ground.
She said sorry in a whisper-like voice.
The girl rolled her eyes.
“Hold on Maria, I think she is a newbie,” said a girl next to her. She had jet-black curly hair and she was chewing a gum.
They look older than her. An evil smirk appeared on their faces.
“You are coming with us,” said the blond girl, and grabbed her hand. She resisted, but they dragged her with them.

He walked inside the house while whistling. Eliza was cooking pancakes in the kitchen when she heard his footsteps. She came out of the kitchen.
He sat on the couch. He was reading some text on his phone and his expression was unreadable.
“Roman, have you dropped her?” she asked. He did not reply.
“Roman, I am asking something. Why do you have to be so stubborn,” she said annoyingly.
He looked up at his mother expressionlessly. Her expressions made him slightly soft, he could not upset his mother.
He took a deep breath and nodded.
“Have you informed her of everything? Have you explained to her about the college?” she asked.
“Mum, I am not the servant of your precious relative,” the devil was back.
She looked at her son in disappointment.
“She is not only my relative here, Roman?” she said, annoyed. He remained quiet.
“I have to prepare a few things for the evening, bring her home after college,” she said.
He looked up at his mother again and opened his mouth to say something, but did not speak.
She smiled and walked inside the kitchen.
His phone vibrates.
He looked at the phone screen and his brows narrowed. He clenches his teeth.
**********
“No, please let me go,” she said, afraid. There were a lot of girls and boys of her age standing there and all of them looked worried.
“Listen, all of you, there are rules to study here, so all of you have to follow these rules,” said a blond girl. Saliha was seeing this girl for the first time.
“You guys are going to serve us for the next six months,” said the blond curly-haired girl.
“Means the whole semester,” said Blondie.
Just then, the door opened and a boy who had deep green eyes entered the room. His aura reminds her of the ‘Devil’. He was tall with broad shoulders and the gray T-shirt he was wearing was showing his abs and perfect toned body, but the most heavenly thing about him were his eyes. They were sharp, hunters, intense but not as intense as the Roman’s, the devil, but she could tell he was as dangerous as the Roman was.
“What have we got here?” he said in a cold, deep voice while looking at Saliha. A smirk appeared on his face.
“Our new servants for the next six months,” said the blond girl.
“No, Wajiha, this is not a good way to talk,” he said with his usual smirk. A kind of smirk that gives shivers through the spine.
“So, all the newbies, you know now who we are, we are seniors of King Star High School,” he said while playing with a lighter he was holding in his hand. Saliha’s gaze fell on the lighter. It was a metallic body as big as the size of a matchbox and a snake was engraved on it. Saliha had a strange déjà vu, as if she had seen it somewhere before, but she was unable to recall it.
The door opened with a thud and everyone turned with a small gasping sound. A girl who was wearing the highest ponytail Saliha had ever seen walked in while holding another girl’s hand who was resisting like a wildcat. The girl who was resisting was wearing heavy mascaras around her gray eyes and that was giving her cat-like looks.
“Hey, let me go, I said,” she said while trying to set herself free. “Why the hell did you bring me here?” she asked, angrily.
“Whoa, we got an angry servant, cheesy,” he said while walking towards her. She was looking at him, angrily. Her eyes were narrow and were more hunter looking even than him. It was obvious she would pond on him anytime.
“How dared you call me a servant, I am not yours…” she tried to complete her sentence when he put his index finger on her mouth, making her shush.
“Shhh, wild cat, you know what I do whenever my cat becomes needy?” he said in a whisper-like voice.
“I put it in my lap and embraced every inch of her body,” he said in a whisper that she could only hear him.
She was staring back at him, angrily.
He smiled and then turned, looking straight at Saliha, who felt as if he was looking through her soul.
“And you know what I did to my dog when he became an attention-seeker?” he heard her from behind. He turned and looked at her while raising an eyebrow. His arch eyebrows were most appealing.
“I neutered him,” she said. Almost everyone gasped as if she had signed her death contract. He clenched his teeth. Saliha felt the tension in the air. He walked towards this new girl and stood an inch away from her and was about to say something when the door opened.
A girl of their age appeared. She looked very different from those stupid bullies. She looked reserved and calm. She had dark brown almond eyes. She was a bit curvy.
She walked towards the boy who had green eyes and whispered something in his ear.
“Muaza, tell him, why does it matter?” he asked with a smirk.
Muaza looked at Saliha and then at him again.
“Ehmad, you know if you are going to play in this one.” Muaza tried to say something when he shushed her.
He looked at Saliha instantly and Saliha felt as if she would be buried alive.
He turned.
“Fine, you can all go,” he said in a deep voice.
They all turned.
“But you,” he said, pointing at the girl who was wearing a black cross-back shirt and black jeans with a leather jacket, she turned and crossed her arms while looking at him while narrowing her and her cat-like eyes were intense. It was clear that she was not afraid of him, not at all.
Everyone left one by one.
“Saved at last? Have you?” he asked while crossing his arms around his chest.
“From who? You? I prefer to poke an eye instead of being scared of pricks like you,” she said while looking at the bully girls and him.
He smirked and played with the lighter in his hand.
“Now, if you are enough of me to get bored here with you idiots, I have to do some important things,” she said and turned.
“Who the hell does she think she is,” said Wajiha while moving ahead, but he stopped her from moving further. He was staring at the girl who was leaving and there was a fire in his sharp green eyes and a smirk on his face.
“I like this game,” he whispered.

She walks into the class. The classroom was filled with students. Only she was fresher. Other students got enrolled at the school a year earlier than her as she joined in the mid-year.She had not seen anyone belonging to a poor background, all the students seemed from richer backgrounds. She sat on the last bench in the last row and fetched out a book from her bag.“Hey, Are you the new girl who arrived in mid-section?” a girl asked enthusiastically. Saliha raised her head, a girl wearing a bit bigger spectacles frame which was quite suiting her face. She was grinning. She had straight black hair and a slim figure. Saliha throws a smile at the girl.“I am Hania, I am in your grade,” the girl said, stretching her hand in front of her, Saliha shook hands with her and said, “Hello, I am Saliha,”.“So, what was the reason for you moving here all of a sudden?” Hania asked and sat on the bench next to her.“If you dared to tell anyone who you are and where you live....” the Devil's warning
He was staring at her with his intense cold blue eyes. “What are you doing here?” he growled. She began to shake with fear because of his anger issues. “Were you spying on me? How dared you?” he screamed. “I, I was…” the words got stuck in her throat. “What the hell do you think you are?” he asked while walking closer, covering the distance between them. He looked so dangerous. His eyes were turning red due to anger. “I have told you to stay away from my room, haven’t I?” he screamed while grabbing her right forearm, tightly. His big strong hand and stronghold make the blood flow stop in the veins. She hissed. He was staring into her hazel eyes. “Please, let me go, I have not heard anything,” she pleaded. He pins her against the wall. He bent on her. His warm breath touched her lips. He was breathing calmly and, on the other hand, she was restless and anxious. “If you dare to come closer or walk even an inch around me, I will make you regret your birth,” he said in a cold, si
Meanwhile, at Hunza's House “Enough, I am not responsible for giving you answers, Raheem Burar Alvi,” she screamed. “Aina, you are crossing your limits,” he screamed in return. “I am crossing my limits? Am I?” she asked while pointing her index finger at her chest; "Raheem, you are the one who is screwing around with your 'deals',” she air-quoted her fingers. The twins were watching a horror show while eating pizza. They exchange looks. They shrugged and started eating again. The quarrels of their parents were now so spiral. They seemed to give a damn about their fights. “Do me a favor, Brother. Please increase the TV volume,” Hunza said. “I have an idea. Let's go for a long drive,” Kashaan said. She looked at him instantly. “Now that’s something I wanted,” she said excitedly, and walked out of the launch. "That's how we are twins," said Kashaan aloud. They knew their parents would not ask where they were going, or they would not notice that they were not in the house. ***
“Could you get the car out of the underground parking garage? I will be back in a few minutes,” said Kashaan. She nods. They were standing in front of the restaurant entrance. It was a cold evening in December. He walked towards the parking entrance, “Oh God, it’s cold,” she whispered while rubbing her bare arms. After a few minutes of walking, she was a few steps away from their brand-new Audi. She looked for the keys inside her bag, but the keys were not there. “Stupid Kashaan, he forgot to hand me keys,” she whispered. “Now I have to stand here and freeze to death,” she thought. She looked around, and the parking garage was empty. It was a huge place and more than two hundred cars could adjust in it. A car with black window glass entered the passageway of the garage. She looked at the car with a glance and ignored it. She was talking to Hania about their upcoming test through text. Just then, the door of the car opened and two men appeared. Before she could understand, the
She shoots a soft slap on Kashaan’s shoulder. “I think we need to teach some games to these juniors,” Emaad said with a smirk. “Fun time,” said Haeem said. "Wait, we should not," said Zain, concerned, while looking at Saliha who was laughing. She had no idea he was looking at her. "Oh come on, it won't hurt a thing," said Haeem. They got up and walked towards the table where Saliha and Hania were sitting with the others. “Hey,” Emaad said in a deep voice with a smirk. Saliha's smile disappeared. She always found this boy mysterious, especially his intense green eyes. “Hey, you are the guy from last night?” asked Kashaan, and got up from his chair and shook hands with Emaad. Emaad shook his hand coldly. “Well, I am her senior,” he said while pointing at Hunza. “Yeah, she informed me about you,” said Kahsaan, smirking. He smirked in return and sat on an empty chair. “Well, I heard she is very fond of dogs,” Emaad said while looking at her. She looked up at him and clenched h
He dragged her to the quiet place, and then he looked at her from top to down. She could feel is dirty eyes on her. The cold air was touching her forehead.“I will not force myself on you, but I will show you something which will lead you to come in my arms automatically,” he said with a smirk.“What?” she asked, angrily. He chuckled and then he showed her the ring. Her expression turned horrible."I will destroy it, or worse, I will give it to your fiancée," he said.“No, you can’t do it,” she said, screaming.“Oh baby, I can, I know where you live. Do you think that day when you escaped I left you?” he asked in a sinister voice. Her face turned white. He threw her on his car's bonnet and her hand hit the car's sharp light holder, harshly. She was bleeding. He pressed his body against her. She was struggling.“Accept what I want or else I will show you how much I need you. What will they think? That we are having an affair if I could, keep this ring?” he said. Her heart jumped, and tw
Dear Diary My life has become a dry spell. I don’t know what I want. I am not a moody bitch, neither am I a badass. I was a good girl, so still, I am a good girl. I am tired of playing victim. I know, I know life has led me here, but I don't know one thing, why I could not satisfy this society, not this society, but any society. Maybe I don’t belong to any society. I belong to no one. I am me, a person who has got nothing but space in her. A voice in my mind says so, Saliha, no one is responsible for your actions, no one but you. Do I? Whenever I make myself calm by telling myself so, I feel like a rebel, but can slaves be subversive? They do? Here my thoughts got stuck. I don’t know what it is, I know what my thoughts are for. I feel like I am under his damn power, I feel like he is snatching me away from my very own self. I, Saliha Roman Ali Gardezi, am not even allowed to keep his name with me. Why does it matter to me? It is because, since the beginning, I have loved him, since th
She settled the food on the tray perfectly and walked towards his room. The door was slightly ajar. She walked in. His room was indeed huge and well-settled. He is an organized person. She looked around but he was not there. She placed the tray on the nearby table and then her gaze fell on the balcony. Her pupil widened after seeing him sitting on the chair and staring up at the sky. He smokes cigs while getting lost in deep thoughts. She gulped and walked slowly towards him. “Eat something,” she said, trying hard to be normal. He is the devil, and I am in the devil's cage. He did not look at her nor respond. “Mum said, you will get sick, please eat it,” she said. He looked at her this time and his eyes were turning red due to anger. He got up from his chair and walked towards her and grabbed her right hand, which was bandage free. “I have told you to stay away from my things and my room,” he said in a sinister voice. “I, I came here to give you food,” she said. “Get lost,” h
“Roman, Roman, Roman. What he wants from me. Why he has to tease me like this? Why? He can’t let me live my life?” she said, annoyed, and kicked a nearby plant. “Saliha,” she heard Hunza’s voice. Hunza was wearing a concerned expressions. “Hunza?” she whispered. Hunza rushed towards her and hugged her. “Oh thank God you are okay, you don’t know how worried I was,” Hunza said. “Hunza, I have to esc…” She was about to complete her sentence when Hunza’s words made her shiver through the spine. “Imran Ali Gardezi and Mrs Gardezi are shot,” Hunza. Saliha felt as if she lost all of her strength to stand. “What? No….no…this can’t be,” she screamed. The students passing by them started looking at them. “It’s true,” Hunza said. “I. I need to go. I need to see them,” Saliha said crying. Hunza and she rushed ahead towards the car. “Hunza, what happened?” Saliha asked Panicked. “Last night someone attacked their house and Mrs Eliza was in front,” said Hunza, crying. Saliha felt she
She woke up after a deep sleep. Recognizing her surroundings; she came to realize that she was not home. She thought she was dreaming but it was the truth. She got down. A frying sound could be heard from the kitchen. She entered the huge modern-style kitchen and found him cooking. “So you can cook?” she asked him smiling. “I am a bachelor; what do you think?” he replies. She chuckled. She found this man very funny and chilling at the same time. “I…I want to talk to you,” she said. He was making chicken and eggs for breakfast. He lowered the stove heat and turned to her. “Go on,” he said. “I am very thankful to you that you offered me a night at your place and security as well. I want to move to one of my friends,” she said. He stared at her for a while and opened his mouth to say something when the main door opened and someone entered. She turned around; a tall boy in his mid-twenties walked in. He seemed tired and his green eyes were screaming his exhaustion. “Kristan, yo
“What are you talking about?” she asked him, expressionlessly. Thanks to her wonderful acting skills she knows how to do it; she was unable to do it because there was AI and a laptop screen between them or else, she knew she could not do such good acting in front of him. He raised an eyebrow and she knew he was not buying it. “I have asked you once and you know I fucking hate repeating things,” he growled. She felt her heart was rushing so fast. “Why the heck you were checking upon his details? Do you think you can easily sneak out under my nose and I won’t know?” he asked annoyed. She had no idea what she had to do in such a situation. She looked around for Eliza but she knew Eliza must be busy making cakes. “Saliha…answer..” he growled again. She knew he was like any bomb that could explode at any time. She looked around again and then she put the laptop lid down. “Don’t you dare to…” his angry voice touched her eardrum giving her chills. Her hands were shaking because she
It has been two weeks since she saw that guy. She does not even know his name. She recently joined the college but she was not excited about it all. She is friends with her brother’s friend and Kashan is her best friend. He tries to express his feelings to her many times but she never feels that way. She does not believe in love after seeing her parent’s marriage, but for the first time in her life, she feels love. Those two different colored eyes were making her heart rush in a manner that she never felt before. “Who is he? Where he could be?” she thought. “I…I am afraid to admit that I am in love,” she felt her heart rush again. “I wish I could see him again,” she assumed. ***********“Have you seen Hala?” asked Hania. “I am afraid I have not. I have found it odd. She is in herself more these days and that makes me worry,” Saliha said. “Relax, she is always like that,” said Hania. “I can see my sister in her Hania. I don’t want her to go through such pain,” said Saliha.“I kno
He was driving while singing a song. It was their favorite song. She started singing along with her brother. “You know what after how long time we are going together?” she asked, smiling. He smiled back. “1 year, 6 months, sixteen days,” he said. She stared at him for a while and then she chuckled. “I am sorry, I was unable to give you time Hala. I know I promised Mom, I promised you to always take care of you,” he said. “Hey, you have been the best brother,” she said. He smiled. They arrived at their usual restaurant. “My treat,” he said. “Usual,” she said, smiling. “You know I have a change of taste, I am practicing veganism,” Hala said. “Since when?” he asked. She stared at him. “Okay, Okay, I know I have to know a lot,” he said. She rolls her eyes. “Order,” he said. She started going through the menu when his phone rang. He answered the call. “Yeah Hunza,” he said. She looked up at her brother from the top of her eye socket.“Oh, don’t worry. I will ask them to
“Ehsan, this most offensive behavior I got from you. I always try to make our engagement work out but you always do something stupid,” Hunza said. “I did something stupid? Hunza, you were talking to him as if he was your boyfriend?” said Ehsan, annoyed. “Since when you have become so possessive?” she asked. Hania was eating pizza peacefully as if she was not listening to them. It was so common for them to fight and then Ehsan brought flowers for her. “Because what mine is mine,” he said. “I am not a product, stop thinking woman is a product,” Hunza snapped and walked off. He stared at her leaving sadly and something happened to his heart. He rushes after her. “Oh now he realizes his mistake,” sings Hunza. Zain enters the café and he walks towards the table where Hania is sitting. “What happened?” he asked. “Usually, they fight and then he goes crazy after seeing her sad,” Hania said. “I wonder, where is our tough boy Ehsan Alvi,” said Zain. “He is in love,” sings Hania. He burned down all of the evidence she had and that included tubes of virus she got accidentally in her bag. She was watching all the evidence getting burning, helplessly. He was indeed clever because he knew it all from the beginning. For the first time in her life, she found herself getting trapped in the cage of the devil. “If you dared to tell this to anyone. I am your mighty husband. You know what I mean here,” he said while pointing a finger in front of her nose and then he left. **********Three months later,It had been three weeks since they talked. She either did not try to talk to him. The case was closed and they were back home. She does not want to live here because it reminds her how Roman killed that man. She pretended she was busy and he seemed extremely busy as well. She was working on her project when she heard a car’s horn. She looked out of the glass window. Much to her surprise Imran and Eliza were back. She rushed to the door and hugged them. She just wanted to
The era of the virus was now over and she could finally go back to her college and meet her friends. She was currently living with Hania because she had not seen Roman after that night and he did not come to bring her with him. She was sitting with Hania in the back seat and Zain was driving. They had to pick Hunza as Kashan was out of the station. Saliha's gaze fell on the police station in the corner and something hit her head.“Guys, I need to buy something, could you drop me here?” she asked.“Thing from here? But Saliha we are already getting late,” said Zain.“It’s urgent,” Saliha said.He stopped the car and she got out of the car. She waits until her friends leave. She took a deep breath and took out the pen drive from her bag.“I can’t keep it any longer. I can’t help him anymore in his crimes,” she thought and walked inside the police station. The crime aura at the police station was making her sick. Policemen were forcing criminals into the bar and she could feel crime aro
He was kissing her passionately and inhaling her scent. Saliha’s heart was rushing so fast when he got up breathing heavily. His expression turns poker and then he storms off the room. Saliha was staring at the open door. She felt guilty and humiliated at the same time. Roman pushed her away and then she stared at herself in the reflection. She touched her messy hair and tears started falling from her eyes one by one. ************* He did not talk to her after that night and she was also avoiding him. She was eating breakfast when she saw him leaving. He did not inform anything and left. She rolled her eyes and got up.The whole day passed but he did not arrive. She was now bored and decided to read some random book but she had already read all the books from the shelf. She took a deep breath and walked towards the kitchen to make coffee. The kitchen at Hunza's house was indeed so big and furnished. She opened the cabinet when something fell.It was some small box. She opens it and
