BRYNN

I looked at my surroundings as I tried to figure out where I was. The room office was nothing fancy. A desk, laptop, filing cabinet, and a window that overlooked an empty field. It was fairly nondescript.

There was a knock followed by a command to enter. That gruff voice was unmistakable. I slowly turned around, almost afraid to see him in the same room as me. He looked exactly like the last vision I had. Tall, bald, and even had more scars than he had when I was a pup. A long diagonal scar across his left eye.

The door opened to show none other than Khalid, the fucking traitorous bastard himself.

“Take a seat,” he said, looking at the empty chair. “The witches have no idea why they can’t find the fucking vessel. We’re going ahead with the plan.”

Khalid sat down with his head lowered like the submissive bitch that he was. How did he even get mixed up in all of this?

“How long?” he asked.

“Fourteen days. It’ll take two weeks for the cage to be ready. We have no idea if she

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 37

THEO Unmated males always thought that experiencing their mate’s heat would be nothing but a week of absolute pleasure. Nonstop sex where both of you were so horny that you could never get enough. There was no room for misunderstanding here. My sexy nymph and I christened our entire suite multiple times over. I had no idea how many times either of us came. It all became a blur at some point. Her tight body was too flexible and far too eager to try new things. My mate had been inexperienced coming into our mateship, but she was a quick study indeed. I sure as fuck hoped that she kept the same insatiable appetite when she was not in a heat-induced lustful haze because my girl was the epitome of sinful desire. The kicker was that she did not even realize it. She was oblivious to how fucking sexy and enticing she actually was. She screamed my name as she shattered around me. Two more thrusts had me following right behind her. We took a minute to catch our breath before I pulled out of

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 38

THEO Brynn’s room was almost entirely packed up except for the things on her walls. I wished I had seen what this room looked like before it was packed up. The walls were painted to look like they were part of a galaxy. The blacks, purples, blues, and white stars blended together to create a stunning mural. It made me wonder who designed it because it was customized. She also had a Queen-sized bed along the back wall. It had boxes scattered on top of it. It made me happy to see it because it showed that our lives were being joined together. It was no longer my place but our home. I walked over to a corkboard that had photos attached to it. I smiled as I saw different mini-Brynns throughout the years. There were some family photos as well as photos of her friends. I saw what my father meant about how she withdrew into herself after her mother died. Some of those pictures showed eyes void of emotion and robotic in nature. Others showed how lively and happy she was. It pained me to see

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 39

BRYNN The whiskey completely ran out of my system, and I was having fun unpacking things. Theo insisted that I stay up here while he brought the boxes up. He even enlisted Jackson and Dante’s help. I absolutely loved this suite. It was spacious with the perfect kitchen for a chef like me. Top-of-the-line appliances, a double oven, and plenty of counter space made me feel like I had died and gone to foodie heaven. The living room had the most comfortable seating. The couch and loveseat had memory foam, so it felt like you were sitting on a cloud. The oversized chairs were perfect for cuddling. Then there was a magnificent view of the forest and mountains from the balcony. My hand landed on the book I got on my birthday. I had looked through it briefly, but none of it made sense to me, so I put it aside. However, things were different now because I now knew the truth of my bloodline. I sat down at the table and opened it. Perhaps it would give us some further clues into all of this.

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 40

BRYNN I had originally wanted to surprise Theo with a good home-cooked dinner, but we would be having a pack meeting before dinner to announce our bond and my future Luna status. We would not be having the ceremony until after the battle, but we did not want to wait to announce our mateship. Plans for dinner were placed on hold for tonight, so he would just have to settle for breakfast. That was why I found myself up earlier than him so that I could cook. The breakfasts that I saw him inhale were a good indication of what he might like. It took a good ten minutes before I could settle on a choice. I just hoped he enjoyed the secret recipe French toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit. Oh, and coffee. It was the most important part of this entire meal. “Something smells amazing,” Theo said. He wrapped his arms around me and running his nose along my neck. I leaned into his body and internally sighed with the positive emotions caressing the bond. Theo could bring me to the brink

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 41

THEO Zen was strutting around like a smug bastard in my mind after completing his bond with Moira. It was good to see him so happy because he definitely deserved it. Our mates were completely amazing creatures that we were both blessed beyond measure to call ours. This new gift of Zen’s would be fascinating to test out and learn. It made me wonder if I would be able to utilize it as well because natural gifts were usable by both human and wolf forms, but this was not a natural gift exactly. It was belatedly bestowed. We would just have to be careful where we tested it out because we did not need prying eyes until all of the traitors were dealt with. ‘Do you know of anywhere we can privately test out Zen’s gift from the vision?’ I asked Brynn as we walked into the packhouse. ‘Actually, yes. The training center where my father trained me is large and private. We can lock the doors from the inside so nobody could happen inside.’ I placed a kiss on the top of her head and breathed in

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 42

BRYNN I had never been more furious in my life than I was right now. I did not care about what Lauren threw a silver knife at me. My man saved me with his fast reflexes. He had moved so quickly that I had not even fully seen him do it. He just appeared in front of me. What bothered me was what she did to Theo. She drugged him and sexually assaulted him just so that she could conceive his pup with a misguided notion that it would grant her the Luna position. What made me even more furious was that her intention had been for her to conceive a pup as a selfish bargaining chip. How fucked up could one person be? Theo looked sexy as he was forcing Lauren to walk through the pack like the criminal that she was. His aura was not reigned in like it normally was because he was also fairly furious, but it was also to remind Lauren how fucked she was. He led us to an interrogation room where he pushed her down into the chair and commanded her to not move. He grabbed a set of silver handcuffs

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 43

THEO Brynn wrapped her arms around my waist from behind and kissed my back. I relaxed into her embrace and let her love soak into me so that it would be my focus for today. Last night was a night for reflection. My precious mate got out some of the bourbon that I had in the kitchen and sat me down at the counter, sitting on my lap, and handing me a shot. She told me that she was here for me. It was after the second shot that I began to analyze my emotions and how I felt about what we learned. Anger was a prominent emotion regarding it all. There were never any hard feelings before about the night that Lauren and I shared. Never had I even assumed that anything was amiss. She definitely tried to get with me multiple times after that, but I never accepted her numerous offers. I was furious knowing that she not only drugged me but also did it to conceive my pup. It pissed me off to know that if she had gotten pregnant with our pup that it would have been nothing more in her mind than a

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 44

BRYNN I had my walls firmly in place because I did not want to overwhelm Theo right now. He was having a hard enough time with everything that had come to light. It went much further than we had thought. There was just something else that was niggling me – something on the peripheral that we were not seeing about her. ‘Reach out to Dante’s wolf. We need to speak to him immediately,’ I told Moira. If anyone could see what we were unable to then it would be him. While I had felt horribly guilty that he was stuck here until the battle, I was thankful that he was here too. It was not just because he was keeping me alive and under the radar. He was a genuinely great guy. I brought Theo over to the far wall so that Lauren was still in our sights. He wrapped an arm around my waist and rested his forehead against mine. We did not need words because we found peace in each other’s presence. Dante joined us so I opened a mindlink to Theo so that he would be able to hear what I needed to kno

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Sneak Peek at Book Two

SNEAK PEEK – “DESIGN OF FATE” - JACKSON Imeela. The name sounded like a prayer. Imeela was my mate that I met two days ago when she was being attacked by a group of vampires. She had held her own very well until it was not. Brynn had got me out of bed for a road trip but would not tell me where we were going. Luckily, she had the forethought to bring warriors with us. Goddess, she fought them like a lethal warrior. Not only was she deadly, but she was fucking gorgeous too. Brynn worked her charm and convinced her to come back here. She was given the choice to either use the extra bedroom in my suite or a guest room. Thankfully, she chose my suite. Well, our suite. However, she was extremely reserved, but I could not blame her. It was easy to see that her life had not been easy. That hurt Zeus and me to think about. She had woken up screaming from a nightmare this morning, and now she had been pacing in her room for the past hour. I had no idea what she was going through, but tha

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Epilogue

BRYNN “Have you guys decided on his name yet?” I asked, looking at the beautiful cherub in his arms. Beautiful blue eyes, peachy skin, a head of hair that matched his mother’s color, and the most adorable button nose. He was so perfect. “Matteo Ray,” he said, smiling at his firstborn. “Ray after his godmother just with a y instead of an e,” he said, winking at me. Tears stung my eyes, but I desperately tried to keep them there because it would ruin my view of the little guy. It had meant everything to me when they asked me and Theo to be godparents to their son. To share the same middle name as him meant just as much to me. I took Kalen from her father and got her situated. Goddess, she was two now, and each day was a new adventure. Everyone, us included, had been very surprised with how calm she generally was. There were times when that calm wore off, but that was a rarity in comparison. It seemed that the Goddess’ blessing was quite literal with blessing her with both strength a

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 100

THEO Remember that flash drive the doctor mentioned? Yeah, it had quite a bit of fucking shit on it. The contents definitely gave the Council everything that they needed to intervene. Trust me when I said that they definitely decided to intervene in a creative way once the bastard was apprehended. Would you care to take a guess what they decided? Mhm. Exactly! They called my mate in. So, we headed back over to Coverstone with a viewing party, consisting of all the leadership. Dahlia was thrilled to be brought in officially as Gamma Female. She was a multi-threat personality, so we would see how this played out. Brynn decided that we would be playing a new game. She still had not explained to any of us what it would entail other than to imagine Twister meets carnival games. That explanation really set me ablaze with need. I needed to witness this game and needed to see what damage it would cause. From what we understood, it would be the dipshit CEO, the doctor, and the P.A. all in

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 99

BRYNN Today would be interesting to say the least. We had a few things to accomplish, so we began our day early. Mira wanted to come along, and she accomplished it with those damn wolfy pup eyes that she perfected. That was her terminology, and I would never be able to think or say puppy dog eyes ever again. Our first stop would be to Coverstone so that I could question the doctor and P.A. myself. Trust me that was not why she wanted to tag along. Nope. It was because of our second stop. Theo, Mira, and I would be visiting the site where the study was being conducted. As such, we needed to look the part. That was why I donned a midnight blue pencil skirt and matching blazer with a white blouse underneath it. My hair was pulled back into a twisted bun. Only minimal makeup was on my face because I had always preferred to have a fresh look. Then I put on low heels because I did not want to kill my feet too much today. Mira looked so adorable in her little business outfit. She had insi

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 98

THEO We had left Scarsdale in promising hands. Alpha Scott, even though he insisted on us still calling him Scott, had many great plans to strengthen the pack and cleansing it of his father’s touch. We made sure that he understood that we were only a call or text away. Caleb and Thalia were growing closer and developing a sibling bond. She felt overwhelmed at times, but my mate was definitely helping her to find her place in the pack. Thalia had a rough life thus far, so we wanted her to feel free and happy. Brynn had taken it upon herself to work with her each day as she taught her self-defense. Thalia was a hard worker and eager to learn everything that she could. I watched as Brynn walked hand in hand with Mira from the swing set. These two females were everything to me. Although, I should add in the third one that I had yet to meet. Some of the guys had joked that I must be hoping for a little boy to help counterbalance the estrogen in the house. It would not bother me if all o

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 97

THEO Scott was left with the Council and their warriors to get things situated. Luna Charlotte and Richard offered to help Scott, but he just asked her to rest. Robert offered to take her to lay down somewhere, but she did not want to go back to the Alpha floor. He understood that and offered to take her to his home. They both looked happy with the truth of their mate-bond. They would have their own trials to overcome, but I believed that they could be happy together. We went with Caleb to see Thalia. He was extremely nervous, knowing that this was his sister. He also felt guilty because he had left, and even if he did not know that she was his sister, the truth remained the same. He escaped and found a good life for himself, but she was left here within the clutches of a lunatic Alpha. Hopefully he would one day see it was not a burden that he should carry. The past needed to be left in the past so that the future could be embraced. Caleb stood in front of the door that Scott had

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 96

BRYNN While the bastard Alpha was apprehended, we would need to deal with the remaining pack. An Alpha set the standard for a pack. This Alpha was a fucking bastard who did extremely despicable things, so it was safe to say that there would be more in this pack who shared the same ideals. First, we needed to speak with Scott. The safest option was for her to mindlink him, getting him up here. I helped her rinse off the powder first so that it was possible. Surprisingly, I was able to keep my anger reigned in when I took stock of even more injuries. Luna Charlotte was extremely embarrassed that someone else was seeing the state that she was in even if that embarrassment was misplaced because there was nothing to be embarrassed about. It did not take a rocket scientist to pinpoint what caused her to feel that way. “I want you to look into my eyes so that you know I’m speaking the truth with these words.” I paused until her eyes met mine. “What he did to you is unforgivable and shows

  • His Hunt for Redemption   Chapter 95

THEO As much as I did not want my mate to be on this mission, I did see how much her presence had already helped. From being able to pull on the shadows for our cover to doing what she did with the chick in the kitchen. Brynn and Moira had both been training hard with Tris and Paise to master her Vessel abilities. They still had not been able to identify them all since there were hundreds of possible abilities that previous Vessels had of their own. Not everyone had the same abilities. Thus, it was a long process of figuring out which ones they were able to utilize. ‘Our mates are powerful and sexy,’ Zen commented. ‘Not to mention that they both are really adventurous.’ He snickered as he remembered the last time that Moira surprised him by calling him out to her trail and attacked him. Okay, attack was definitely a loose term. You could not attack the eager and very willing. Her howls of pleasure were loud enough to catch the attention of a couple of patrol wolves. When they came
