Chapter 52

Tristan’s POV

My heart was broken into a million pieces and my whole being shattered. But the feeling wasn’t alien to me, I felt the same when Willow rejected me three years ago.

I knelt there in front of her house crying and pleading but she was too angry and sad to look at my face and reconsider. Even when the loud thunders and fierce lighting began to prepare the way for the ferocious rain. I was still there. And when the rain started, I didn’t move. I didn’t because I couldn’t, my legs and body couldn’t carry me.

She stood by her window watching me, the tears that rolled down her cheeks made it harder for me, I caused it, it was my fault. I felt the downpour easing off my skin and someone’s presence. I looked up and to see who it was, it was Ryan. He held an umbrella above me making sure I was free from the downpour.
