Reyes entered the club, rubbing his head in frustration. He sat on a barstool and ordered a bottle of whiskey to clear his mind. How could his own brother treat him this way? And now he had nowhere to go.
FLASHBACK
"Get out of here now, you murderer!" His brother Logan shouted. "Logan, how could I kill your wife, your mate? I would never do such a thing. Why do you hate me so much?" Reyes yelled angrily at him.
"So you still have the mouth to talk. Father, do something about this. You can't let him go unpunished," Logan said.
"Father, you know I'm innocent," Reyes said, turning to plead with his father. "I'm going to be the alpha in a few days. Why would I kill my brother's wife?" he said sadly.
"I'm sorry, Reyes, but all the evidence points to you. You are hereby banished from this pack," his father said.
"No, father, you can't do this to me. I didn't kill her, I swear," Reyes begged earnestly.
"Drag him out and make sure he never sets foot in this place again," Logan said with a smirk on his face.
"I will definitely get back at you and take what belongs to me," Reyes yelled as they dragged him out.
He was dragged out and the door was locked. He had truly been banished from his pack. He lost all strength and started crying. He had nowhere to go. He needed to drink away his sorrows and find a bitch to fuck.
He kept wandering around until he finally reached the beautiful city streets. It was already late, and he saw a club down the street buzzing with music. So he went there immediately.
FLASHBACK ENDS
He continued to think about everything but decided to live a normal human life in the city.
“One more!" Reyes exclaimed to the bartender, relishing the burn of alcohol as it slid down his throat. He took a sip, holding the glass in his hands and gazing at it absentmindedly.
Just as he was about to take another sip, a sweet and captivating scent wafted into his nose,
instantly arousing his senses. His eyes wdened in surprise as his inner wolf whimpered, recognizing the scent of their mate.
"Mate!"he whispered, turning sharply to face the woman beside him, who was clearly drunk.
"Sir!"she slurred, flashing him a drunken smile and seductively biting her lip.
"Has anyone ever told you how incredibly sexy you look?" she whispered, reaching out to brush his hair behind his ear.
Reyes tightened his grip on the glass, a low growl of pleasure rumbling in his chest.
Angry and possessive, he grabbed her hand and forcefully pulled it away, growling at her.
"What do you think you're doing?" he demanded.
"Simply admiring your attractive features, sir," she replied, her arousal evident in her scent.
Reye's eyes widened in shock as he realised she wasn't a wolf.
"She's not a wolf," Xander, Reye's wolf, growled inside him.
"I'm talking to you, sir," the lady slurred, giggling as her words came out mixed up. She reached out to touch him. "Hot damn, you look so fine."
"Are you a stripper?" she asked, running her hands over his hard chest. She could barely believe what she was doing. She was drunk, angry, and tense because her ex-boyfriend had called her boring.
"Bastard!" she hissed at Reyes, who gave her a confused look, as if he were her ex-boyfriend. But then her senses were drawn back to the alcohol, and she followed her inner desire as she fell forward and hung onto the man's chest.
"Excuse me?" Reyes was offended, but before he could push this rude and beautiful woman away, her scent got the best of him.
His wolf shouted in his mind again: "Mate! She's our mate, do something"
From being called a stripper to being a bastard.
Before he had a chance to be surprised by her outrageous behavior, going from calling him a stripper to a bastard, his mind was completely consumed by the excitement of his inner wolf.
Mate! No way! He had almost become an Alpha, and there had never been an Alpha mated to a woman in history! And why would the Moon Goddess mate him to a woman like her anyway?
After all, he was Reyes, the future Alpha of the Blood Crest pack in the werewolf world. Even though he was banished and planned to become a successful billionaire in the human world, he was still rich and could do anything.
But what? She called him a bastard on their first meeting?
If that was all, it might have been better. All he would have to do was walk away from her. But the Moon Goddess decided to make a woman like her his mate? That was something he would never settle for.
"Oh, not you!" she quickly said, her hazel eyes flashing innocently. Despite the judgment he had made of her, he couldn't look away. "It's my stupid boyfriend. Well, he's my ex now, considering the fact that he cheated on me. There's no way I'm going back to that bastard."
Even though the woman had a heart pinned on someone else, which was apparently why she had drunk herself into a stupor, that was one of the reasons he hated humans. They were too weak for his liking. They could spend the rest of their lives pining for things that shouldn't matter.
And if she was supposed to be his mate, and he wasn't banished, how would she fulfill her role as his Luna?
He shook his head. No! She just wasn't right for him. There was no way he would ever claim a human like her as his mate.
Human!
He swallowed the sudden lump that formed in his throat.
Even though he was trying so hard to sever the mate bond in his mind, he couldn't deny that the woman in front of him was incredibly beautiful. Plus, she had curves in all the right places. He was sure that her breasts would fit perfectly into his palm if he cupped one of them right away.
He was still fighting his inner battle when the woman in front of him leaned over and kissed him fully on the lips.
Reyes was taken aback by the unexpected kiss from the woman. In that moment, his determination wavered, and he found himself unable to resist her advances. He was going to sleep with her for the night. Once it was morning, he was going to put her out of his mind and thoughts."I could make it all disappear," he whispered darkly, pressing himself against her. He watched with satisfaction as a glassy look overcame her eyes, indicating her surrender to his touch. If she wanted sex, he was more than willing to give her exactly that."Yes, please," she mumbled in response. "How much did it cost for a night?"******Reyes forcefully kicked open the door to the motel room, pulling the woman inside by her arm. Her hazel eyes scanned the room, taking in the surroundings. The woman had been unable to keep her hands off him, her small and slender fingers caressing his chest and neck. She traced her fingers down his Adam's apple, causing him to nearly lose control. He grabbed her waist, lifted he
“Where the hell are you?" Jeanette yelled as soon as Christine stepped into the house.Christine winced at the loudness, holding her head in pain. Her headache intensified, and she felt quite miserable."Why the hell are you yelling?" Christine asked, her voice laced with a hint of exhaustion. She raised a hand to her forehead, gently massaging it.With a sigh, she kicked off her shoes, and carefully placed them on the shoe rack by the door.As she made her way into the living room, Christine's body sank into the plush cushions of the couch, offering a much-needed sanctuary from the outside world. The soft fabric embraced her tired form, providing a sense of comfort that she desperately craved."I couldn't find you, I looked everywhere.”“Christine, where were you?" The voice belonged to a more mature individual, their tone tinged with concern and a touch of frustration.Christine's body tensed up upon hearing her mother's voice."Mom, why are you here?" Christine's voice dripped with
CHRISTINE'S LIVING ROOMSunlight streams through the windows, casting a warm glow on the room. Christine chases after her energetic four year old daughter, Nadia, who giggles and runs around the room. The result of the one night that she had with a stranger five years ago was not so bad after all, having giving birth to a beautiful daughter makes her sooo happy, even though she remembered the troubles she passed through, especially when mother learnt of the pregnancy, it was not so easy for her but now everything has become a memory."Nadia, sweetie, it's time to get ready for school!" Christine shouted for the umpteenth time."Catch me, Mama!" she giggled.Christine finally catches up to Nadia and scoops her up in her arms, both of them laughing."Oh, you little troublemaker! You're growing up so fast," she said, smiling."I don't want to go to school, Mama. Can't we just play?" she said, pouting.Christine smiles warmly, brushing a strand of Nadia's curly hair away from her face."I
Christine stood in front of her mirror, adjusting the collar of her blouse and smoothing down the fabric of her fitted skirt. The soft light of the morning sun filtered through her window. Today was the day she had been looking forward to—her date with Eugene. She had chosen her outfit carefully, wanting to strike the perfect balance between casual and chic. With a final spritz of her favorite perfume, she grabbed her purse and headed out the door. The restaurant was a quaint little tucked away on a quiet street, its outdoor seating adorned with twinkling fairy lights. As Christine arrived, she spotted Eugene waiting for her at a table, his face lighting up with a smile that sent butterflies fluttering in her stomach. He looked handsome in a crisp button-up shirt, his hair slightly tousled in that effortlessly charming way.“Hey, you look amazing!” he said, standing to pull out her chair.“Thanks! You’re not looking too shabby yourself,” she replied, her cheeks warming as she took a s
Christine was so excited to go to her boyfriend's place. After all, it was a Saturday and she didn't have to work. She lived with her best friend Jeanette, who worked as a salesgirl in a shopping mall. Christine, on the other hand, ran a small flower shop. She stood in front of the mirror, trying to make herself look beautiful for Duncan, her boyfriend. They had been dating for five months, which had been the best months of her life. She loved him so much and wasn't ready to lose him. She had experienced several broken relationships in the past, but she felt like she had finally found the right man. As she sat down in front of her dressing mirror to apply her makeup, she heard her name being called by Jeanette."Christine!" her crazy best friend screamed. "I finally got passes to Barricade Club, and I got one for you too!" she exclaimed excitedly."I'm not interested," Christine replied."But why? Let's just go tonight, please," Jeanette begged."I said I'm not interested. Besides, I
