“ Are you okay ?” asked Asher, walking inside their bedroom.

And his concernful question went unheard by Maya who was resting with her head on the headrest of the bed and the rest of her body laid on the soft mettrace. Her both hands were placed on her stomach.

She is staring at some random objects in the room, with her mind wandering around all the negativity that has left her life since the time she embarrassed herself.

The room was gloomy, as the lights were off.

Not getting any response from her Asher sat beside her, taking her hands in his.

Her silence was making him more worried.

She has been acting weird for a week and he couldn’t figure out why. He tried asking her but all he gets as an answer is I'm not feeling good. He then requested her to see a doctor but she refused saying it’s nothing related to her health.
