Chris got into his car and drove all the way to the place where Cara's ship had arrived. Unfortunately, he didn't meet anyone. He felt so angry but decided to calm down and check around, they couldn't have gotten too far ahead if he sped up.

Only a while ago did Andrew update it that their ship had sailed back safely which meant they were still around somewhere.

He bumped into one of the dock workers who immediately apologized to him on seeing his nice dressing and car keys in his hand.

"Uh excuse me!" He called out to the man who was about to walk away after a short bow of his head. "I'm looking for my... Friend...? My friend uh... Andrew Malhotra, his ship sailed in just a while ago and he texted me to meet up here but I don't know where."

"Ohh, I'm sorry but I don't know that name. Except if he was one of young master Romeo Armani's friends." The man stated.

Chris nodded his head swiftly. "Yes, yes! He's one of you-- one of Romeo's friends. He is tall, handsome, tanned skin and bro

  • His Greatest Regret    Going To Say Hello

Jessica sat with her back almost hunching, she could not help the feeling of nervousness that clawed at her body from every angle. Remembering her conversation with her ex the night before made her feel so anxious. Jayden was a dubious man, a very dubious one. She hated the fact that they were meeting in broad daylight but she had no choice but to adhere to his wishes until he was gone for good. "Hmm… I'll have to sleep over this," he has said to her the night before. "Let me get a good night sleep and then we can discuss properly in the morning tomorrow."She almost cursed at him but had to hold herself from doing so just to protect her already shattering image. Looking up from her cup of tea, a sigh escaped her mouth. She had started to grow impatient from all the waiting and still jayden had yet to show up even though the time they agreed on had passed by almost an hour. Her eyes caught the figure of a very familiar person and she had to blink just to make sure she was not slr

  • His Greatest Regret    How Much Do You Want

Cara laid on the bed, tired and drowsy. She knew now to avoid greasy food no matter how much she craved for it. Thankfully, she was not alone. Romeo was by her side, making sure her symptoms did not evolve into anything grand and dangerous for both herself and the baby. He prepared tea to help calm her irritation and also to help her fall asleep while also minding how much she drank in order to keep their baby safe. His knowledge on medical things like that were not all too grand but he made sure he did all he knew and more after cross-checking severally to make sure they were all safe measures a pregnant woman could take. Cara would be the biggest liar on earth if she said she was not grateful to have him by her side. She knew she could sleep properly with her man by her side. The silence in the room was comforting rather than deafening, it gave her the opportunity to think on everything that had been going on in her life. She felt a smile creep on her face as a thought crawled

  • His Greatest Regret    Not Rosy

His face was decorated with a dark grin, his deep black eyes never left Jessica's. His psychotic grin sent chills down her spine and it made her shiver to know that he had completely undressed her in his head. She swallowed, closing her eyes for a second to regain her calmness before opening them again and looking at him. "What are you doing here? Why are you even around this place? Are you not supposed to disappear?" Her thin brow arched as she asked him. "Oh…" the man picked up the glass of gin in front of him and downed it in one go. With a gentle sigh, he turned to look at her, "so that's what I was supposed to do. I didn't remember." He responded, still with a grin on his face. "Cut it out and be serious for once in your God damned life!" She spat out angrily. Heads turned towards their table and whispers and murmurs flew about. Jessica forced a chuckle to ease the people that were looking at her then let out a deep sigh to control her rising temper. "Relax." The man said to

  • His Greatest Regret    Being Followed

Jessica sat by the bar, alone with nothing but her thoughts. Her eyes stared into nothingness and her thoughts spiraled a web around her consciousness. How could Chris be so stupid and heartless at the same time? Was he really feigning ignorance that he did not know how much Cara hated him and wanted nothing to do with him? For how long was he going to The bartender walked up to her and placed a glass of whiskey in front of her. "The lady ordered scotch whiskey, am I right?" He asked in a flirtatious tone. Jessica had not heard him. She had not even seen him nor the glass of whiskey that he placed in front of her. She was blinded by her thoughts and deafened by it as well. The bartender was still standing in front of her. At first, he thought to walk away that maybe she was ignoring him but he realized that she had not heard him at all. Staring at her, he knocked on the counter in front of her and said softly. "Hello?" Jessica batted her lashes. "Oh hi! So sorry I didn't see you

  • His Greatest Regret    Abigail

Cara stared at the receipt that stared back at her. The amount of zeros at the back of the figure made her eyes feel dizzy and her head spun. She tried to calculate it but Romeo was already on his way back and she had to immediately slip the receipt back into his wallet. Sitting with her back straightened, trying to compose herself, she cleared her throat softly and a warm smile graced her lips. "Hey, sorry about that." Romeo said as he sat himself back down. "Yeah it's fine. Hey." She responded with a soft smile. She suddenly felt her stomach tangle into confusing knots, making her feel like she wanted to throw up. She managed to hold it back as she spoke, "uhm sorry, could you… excuse me for a moment?" "Yeah sure. You good?" He asked her with a curious brow. Forcing a smile to her face, she responded. "Yeah, of course, why wouldn't I be?" Rising to her feet, she held back the urge to throw up and managed to go to the bathroom. Arriving there, she threw up and wiped her mouth

  • His Greatest Regret    A Jaw Dropping Price

Imagine a wedding dress come alive from a dream, like an imagination in the head transforming into a beautiful reality. So beautiful it made tears flow. That was how Cara felt, except she had never imagined such beauty beyond comprehension. She had anticipated the dress her lover praised of course, but she had never imagined. She could not have even. Something like that was surreal. So she could have never even imagined it. From the patterns to the material to the design, everything, how did one person ever sit down to create such impossibility? The thought of being tied to her lover forever in such a master piece caused tears to trail down her cheek. To Romeo, to the dress, to the designer, she was beyond grateful that such an opportunity had been bestowed upon her without any price to pay. She felt unworthy, she wanted to feel the dress, to touch it and know that it is real. But she felt too unworthy to even take a step closer towards it. Yet her hands reached out, longing for i
