Episode 76

As Fidelis began to make his way out of the forest, he saw a figure in the distance. It was a woman, and she looked lost. He couldn’t see her face, but something about her seemed familiar. He slowed down, trying to get a better look. And then he saw her face.

It was Julie!

He waited to see if she had company, but she didn't seem to have any. Rather, she kept on looking over her shoulders, as if she suspected someone was following after her.

“Julie,” he called out to her. She turned around, looking for the source of the voice. When she saw Fidelis, she let out a surprised gasp.

“Fidelis! What are you doing out here alone? It’s dangerous,” she said.

“It’s quite a story,” he began. “Where have you been? I never thought I would set my eyes on you again,” he said, his voice filled with surprise.

“Come with me,” Julie hurriedly said, leading him to a hut hidden at the heart of the forest.

The hut was small, but cozy. It was made of wood, with a thatched roof. There was a small fire burning
