Episode 69

Isabella and Frederick were sitting in front of the fireplace in her hut, the flames casting a warm glow on their faces.

Frederick had come to her to seek counsel on how to deal with Catherine.

“She keeps getting in my face,” he said. “I am worried that she will force me to spill blood.”

“Catherine and I used to be friends,” Isabella began.

“Really? Then why do you hate her so much?.”

“I will tell you everything you must know.” She paused, took a deep breath and continued. “It was at a ball,” she said. “Catherine was wearing a beautiful blue dress, and she looked so innocent and pure. She was just so enchanting , like a mini god. Everyone wanted to be friends with her; everyone wanted to have a piece of her. I knew I had to befriend her.”
