The TV went black.

Bones crack, nails turn claws, fur springs out of flesh, two feet turn four. A loud angry ferocious howl goes forth through the forest before a large beast, gigantic and impressive, began racing through it.

Its feet shook the earth and the trees trembled.

It chased after preys, hunting and tearing to shreds, blood and flesh splattered and flew but it was not satisfied. When the number of bodies mounted into the hundreds, it finally turned back and transformed into a lone figure.

"Alpha Lorenzo, over a hundred rogue werewolves were murdered last night."

Alpha Lorenzo was strewn casually against a sofa, a cigarette in hand.

"You know not to bother me with such news. Gather the bodies, burn them and be done."

"As you wish, Alpha but the news doesn't only concern us. The other packs are beginning to get uncomfortable, they suspect you're the perpetrator."

The cigarette paused half way to Alpha Olis's mouth.

"If any of them cause trouble, you know what to do."

"But when you cause trouble, who knows what to do?"

The owner of the new voice entered fully into the Alpha's room.

"Mother." Alpha Lorenzo couldn't be bothered to even stand to greet his own mother.

Aloha was already used to his rebellious behaviour so she naturally waved it off. As far as she still got to control his life, she was fine.

Apha Lorenzo's beta bowed before leaving them alone.

Lorenzo puffed on his cigarette, staring into space.

"A glance at me would be enough."

He didn't even move a muscle.

Aloha sighed, "I'm worried about you, Lorenzo... And not just about your rude behaviour... When are you going to get a mate?"

Smoke billowed out of Lorenzo's partially parted lips before they moved.

"Isn't the moon goddess supposed to give me a destined mate? Shame mine deserted me."

"The moon goddess also gives second chances. You can try to win back..."

"The next time you speak of it, I'll gut your throat."

Aloha swallowed. No matter how many years had passed, she still couldn't get used to her own son treating her with such cruelness.

"Then pick someone else. Any she wolf you're interested in, I'll get her for you."

Lorenzo chuckled amusedly.

"The thing is mother, I don't want anyone else. I intend to stay this way for the rest of my life so it's best you don't stress your old bones. Take a nap."

"Lorenzo!"

"Have you forgotten who I am?" His voice dropped dangerously, emitting power and danger.

Aloha's head dropped submissively, "I beg your pardon, Alpha."

A few moments passed with Lorenzo continuously puffing out smoke.

"Leave." He drawled carelessly.

Aloha turned, miserable and tired but hesitated.

"I simply want the best for you, son. There are others trying to steal your throne. The pack wants a Luna and they are going to use it against you."

"I'll handle my matters myself. Leave." His tone signified the end of their conversation.

She left the room but stopped once she got out. She stared at the closed door for a long time before walking away.

Soon after Aloha left, the pack's beta, Antonio, returned back in a haste.

"Alpha, the pack's in a riot! Cato and Sixtus are manipulating them to revolt against you. They are currently marching here. They've sworn to kill you!"
