Chapter 75 Don't you dare

Vince didn't know how Victoria ended up sitting with him but he sure as hell didn't like it.

Almost throughout the entire dinner, he avoided her, chatting instead with others but after everyone had retired to their homes and he had sent off Choco and Valerie to Lydia's house, he couldn't avoid her any longer.

"Coward." She muttered again as they packed the dishes.

It still stung him a bit when she called him that but she had said it so often, he was already used to it. He played the silent card, completely ignoring her. It only made her more angry and desperate. She endured for the duration they spent cleaning up but the second he stepped out the door, she was at his throat.

"Take one step and I'll make sure you never walk again." She glared at him.

He halted, out of fear of her actually carrying out her threat and because he also really wanted to hear what she had to say.
