Chapter Sixty Two

I was still under the bed panicking and praying silently. I closed my eyes, ready to face any outcome. She stops in front of the bed. I think she was about squatting, but the ringing of her phone distracted her.

"Okay, I will be there right now," she said after a few seconds. Then I heard her footsteps moving back, the door making some creaking noise afterwards and a shutting sound.

I am relieved, I think she is gone, but who called her and where is she going. I quickly slide out from under the bed and rush to the door. I need to follow her behind to know where she is going and who she is meeting.

I slowly open the door and tip toe silently, I search around with my eyes, but I couldn't see her. Where is she? She is just too fast, but it hasn't been two minutes since she left the room. I followed the stairs downstairs but still couldn't see her. How could she have left so fast? Damn it, I should have been a bit faster, I really need to know what she is up to.
