Louis rolled his eyes and looked at the time, which indicated they were running late. His eyes widen, and he looks towards Shrey, who is busy chewing her food and applying Chapstick.
"Hurry, Shrey, we are getting late; we have only 5 minutes or else we will be late and Prof. Sorte will punish us," Louis said, pacing in the small room,
"Yeah, yeah, I'm done; let me just drink this juice, and surely next we'll be leaving for college," Shrey said, quickly taking juice from the tray Reva was holding. "Easy bruh," Reva said as Shrey gulped the juice down.
"It’s done, Reva, let’s go." Shrey said, taking the tray from Reva’s hand and placing it back on the table near the bed frame.
She then scanned her room for the last time, which was messy, and decided to clean it later. She held Reva’s hand and dragged her out of her room.
“Louis let’s go man” Shrey yelled as he was busy picking up the bread omelette left on Shrey’s plate and stuffing it in his mouth.
His This kind of behaviour always irked Reva, as he was a fitness freak and avoided eating a lot but when it comes to Shrey he always behaved like a pig and always eats her leftover.
Reva rolled her eyes and now she dragged Shrey down the stairs as Louis finally left Shrey’s room.
“Here, lock the door” Reva announced as she threw keys towards Louis, he caught it and rolled his eyes, and ignored her and did what she said.
Shrey silently observed and sighed, as this was a daily scene played in front of her, and now she was used to their bickering.
They had a fixed schedule to get to college on time, so when they were slightly late today, they quietly and steadily began walking without talking to each other until,
"Shit!" "Did I put my project book in my bag or not?" Shrey said, and she looked inside her bag to check the spiral-bound book. "I had put it in the morning itself," Reva said as she was walking next to her, and Louis was busy on his phone chatting with someone.
"Oh yes, I found it," Shrey chirped and smiled, finding her project work, closing the zip on her bag, and looking towards Louis, who was smiling at the phone.
Shrey signalled Reva to look towards Louis’s direction.
Reva, ever the mischievous child, tried to peek at his phone to see who he was chatting with, but Louis quickly moved his phone in another direction.
"What?" Louis asked, raising his eyebrows at Reva, "Nothing; I just wanted to know with whom you were chatting and smiling." Saying this, she snatched the phone from his hand and started running.
"Hey, give me back my phone," “come and get it, if you can,” she said, sticking her tongue out and looking in his direction. She quickened her pace when Louis started running as well.
This view was pure delight in Shrey’s eyes, so she started running after them as well.
"Hey, wait for me," Shrey yelled, but to her surprise, they didn’t hear. She was tired by now, as she never works out. Louis was about to catch Reva as she was getting tired as well, but before he could, Louis noticed the car coming towards them with speed, and since Reva wasn’t attentive to the sight, due to Louis' great reflexes, he reached out to her. Her eyes widened when he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her towards him when a car crossed with speed, and he cornered her near the gate of someone’s house. They were staring at each other and panting without getting apart. The road was narrow and one way, the car halted its progress when a girl, who was running to save her friend, came in front of it. It was Shrey; she was running towards Reva to warn her about the car, but lucky for her, she was saved by Louis; on the other hand, Shrey was luckier, as the car's driver stopped the car at the right time or else. "What the hell?" shouted the manly, deep voice at his driver as
Shrey sighed as he repeated, "My college is 5 minutes away; if you know more than these three words, proceed; otherwise, please side." Shrey was somehow impressed by her comeback and smiled proudly, though she knew they were at fault as well. "You!" Before he could say anything else, his phone rang, and his attention traveled to the phone inside his car. "Sir, I will get it," the driver said, bowing his head and rushing to get his boss’ phone from the car for a split second; they didn’t pay attention to Shrey and her friends. George sighed looking at the call log and rubbed his forehead to ease some tension. Taking this as a sign, Reva signaled Louis to run as they were getting late and the man standing in front of them seemed to be distracted, so Reva nudged Shrey and signaled Shrey to follow. Shrey knew they were getting late, so without wasting time, the three decided to go from the other side of the car silently. When they reached the other side of the car, Shrey shouted,
Shrey’s POV Boredom is hell when you have to bear it in class, and a distracted mind doesn’t help either. Me and Reva were sitting on the second-to-last bench, which was near the back door of the class, and luckily today the last bench was empty too. Hearing Prof. Sorte repeat the same topic which she taught yesterday as many students were absent and students like Reva came and Miss Shrey was dragged to attend as well was one of the reasons, I didn’t feel like paying attention to I was busy observing the view leaning on my desk when suddenly someone caught my attention. It was the same handsome man who was about to vanish me from this ‘not so worthy of my existence" Earth. He was talking to our principal; their gestures and way of talking appeared to be formal, and the man seemed authoritative in front of our principal, so, I guessed he wasn’t here for admission, and clear as crystal, he isn’t here to complain about us either. But curiosity inside me is building to know him m
Miss Sorte was standing behind Shrey; Shrey blinked twice and stood there frozen. "Good morning, ma'am," Miss Sorte greeted the principal. She did notice Shrey from afar, and that was the reason she approached the principal, and Shrey was standing frozen on her spot. George’ POV I was talking to the principal of the college and was absolutely bored and tired, as yesterday itself me and my cousin brother landed in India, and I decided to get my brother Jonathan, aka Joe, enrolled in this college as it was near where we were going to stay. The principal was busy showing me the college personally, as now I am the trustee of the university. It wasn’t needed, but she insisted, and as she is the elder, I wasn’t able to say no, not out of respect but because I am new here and need to interact and blend well. “Good Moring, Ma’am” one voice chirped from behind, I turned around only to find the familiar face from few hours, she smiled to the principal and then she looked towards me, I ra
Shrey's eyes light up hearing this, as for some time she will be safe now. She looked towards Principle and gave her a flying kiss; her professor was facing her back, so she wasn't able to see Shrey's gestures. "Let's go, Mr. Hemsworth, this way." Shrey said excitedly, "Oh, professor! Sorry, that I missed your class, but I was asked by the principal to meet you, so I had to leave. I hope you will mark me present for your lecture.” Shrey said with a tight lip smile and then she turned to beg the principal to save her this time with her gaze. The principal slightly nodded and said, "Yeah, she's correct; I recall requesting you to bring Shrey to me as well; thanks for doing it." Shrey smirked at the principal and moved forward, followed by George, who sighed audibly and said nothing. He was getting late for his important building, yet today he decided to keep all work aside and rest for the day, as work can be paused but rest is the least prioritized subject for him. "I'm sorry,"
"Here is the library," Shrey said, breaking George's reverie; he was immersed in her eyes as he waited for her to blink her eyes open. "I mean, look back, this is our library." This time, it was George who avoided eye contact by using his phone. "Let’s go," George said, and he moved forward to go inside the library. "Hey, wait, where are you going?" Shrey asked, running behind him. He halted his walk, but Shrey slipped and bumped into him; it wasn’t her fault the floor was wet as it had just been cleaned. George sighed, closing his eyes and trying to control himself. "Isn't it obvious that if I am heading towards the library, I'm willing to go in?" He turned around to face her, but she was missing; there was no one behind him. He was confused and looked around. "Where did she go?" he asked himself as he fixed his jacket and walked towards the reception. Louis had just come from his basketball practice, was sweating, and was heading towards the changing room to change his dirty and
"Now where are you going?" Louis asked sternly yet tried to stay calm. "None of your concern," said Shrey, trying to remove her hand from his hold. Someone from behind Louis tapped his shoulder and said, "Hey." But Louis didn't budge, and because of his tall figure, she wasn't able to see behind him. "Can't you hear me, guys?" Reva, who was holding a pile of books in her hands, asked them, sighing heavily, after hearing Reva Shrey peek from the side. "I can, but this idiotic nugget can't hear with tans of earwax nurturing in his ears, I guess." "What the hell?" Louis asked. He was annoyed by her and created some space between them. "If your hands aren't amputated yet, mind helping this poor girl." Shrey and Louis rolled their eyes when Reva said this, "That's offensive," and finally helped her hold the books. "Oh, come on," Reva said and moved forward, followed by Shrey pouting behind and kicking Louis leg. He managed somehow and glared at her, "Here we are; let's go." Shrey look
Shrey felt nauseous due to the view: "Bruh, please pluck out my eyes." "Shut up, Shrey, and let's crawl to the door and get lost from here." "Reva's right, let's go." Louis said and started crawling, followed by Reva and then Shrey. The smooching sounds were heard. "Prof. Sorte clearly has no taste in men," Shrey whispered, sighed, and mistakenly crashed into the desk, "ouch."Shrey said out loud, which halted their session, "Who is here?" Both asked, making distance between themselves. Reva and Louis face-palmed themselves and looked toward Shrey with a done face."It's time to go," Louis said, and Shrey and Reva nodded. "It's no one's sugarboo," Prof. Shinde said, and he started devouring Prof. Sorte as a meal. "One, two... three," Reva said as she crawled to the door, which she silently opened and motioned for Shrey and Louis to follow."Ew, I’m going to be traumatized for years now." Shrey said after running away from the staff room with Reva and Louis. "Me too," Reva said, holdin
"Oh, you're calling me annoying. Hold me, Reva, or I will break his face," I said, angrily, but felt no motion or even feel her beside me. "Reva," I said to look around and found her standing on the other side, chit-chatting with the boy who was with this 6-foot 3-inch annoying man.POV endsBoth Shrey and George were flabbergasted to see them there smiling and chit-chatting. "Hey Joe," George said sternly. "Yes," Joe said, losing himself in Reva's eye. George was shocked by his behavior and internally smirked as things in front of him were clearly obvious to him."Are you finished, Shrey?" "What exactly do you mean?" Shrey, completely embarrassed, inquired, "She means that; she was tired of your stupid conversations and stupid fight with me, so she decided to introduce herself to my brother," Shrey was outraged by his comments, and before she would say anything, George continued, "Btw, hello, I'm George Hemsworth It's my pleasure to meet you," He introduced himself and extended his
"You know right how close Mr. Mahajan is to Anika, and anyone can easily predict that she is doing all this in a haste because of his wedding news; she is clearly affected by it, and she isn't ready to accept that it's his life and we shouldn't give a fuck about that man."Shrey nodded at her words and glanced at the sky; she was in no mood to say anything.Shrey's POVBy listening to Reva, even I feel like Anika is making decisions in haste. She is 2 years older than us, is stubborn, and never thinks from others' perspectives.Three years ago, when her mother came out of her abusive relationship with her father instead of supporting her, she blamed her for breaking her idiosyncratic family. She was scared to face her so-called classmates. It was at Reva's request and because of her hatred for Louis’s mother that she left the house. Now Reva's mother is happily married with a 1-year-old daughter and a loving husband.Anika didn't reveal her boyfriend to either of us, and that's what
"You killed her. You killed my hope and my desire to have a family; now listen, you were the author of my miseries; now I will be the editor of your happiness, love, and life," screamed the woman, with pain she finally got to express, yet a smirk plastered on her face and tears in her eyes.Suddenly George woke with panic and sweat all over his body, checked his surroundings, and heard those words ringing in his head. He was alone in this new environment, but the nightmares were the same."Same nightmare, ahh," George muttered and fisted his hand, punched the bed frame behind him, and wiped his forehead with his hands. He checked the time on his wall, which indicated it was half past eleven p.m. He sighed and decided to check on his brother Joe and drink water as his throat was dry.Joe was playing video games when George came to check on him. "Joe, shouldn't you be sleeping at this hour?" George asked sternly. He was standing and leaning on the door frame. "Brother, I-" Joe was gett
"I'll give you some pasta, but help me make it first." Reva said while chopping garlic and onions, "Okay, fine.""Now, first, boil the pasta, and for that, empty the sauce pan and fill it with water and one tablespoon of oil, and when the water boils, add the pasta to it." Louis nodded and did what she said; soon the pasta was boiled, and now it was time to throw away the excess water from the pan as he had already taken out the pasta, but without thinking. Louis grabbed the sauce pan and was about to drain the water when the water accidentally spilled on his hand, and the sauce pan fell to the floor with the water in it. The hot water was all over the place, and Reva, who was about to put flour in the butter, was startled by the loud thud, and she accidentally blew flour in her face when she became scared. Fortunately, Reva was a little further away from the location of the water spill. Louis turned to apologize, but instead began laughing, saying,"Reva, what is this? Today you
"I was so disturbed that I burst out; I shouldn't have said those things and controlled myself, but I couldn't, and I am sorry, so can you please go and check on her? She must be hurt. She already blames herself for their deaths, and remembering this all must have wounded her." Reva was overwhelmed by his words; even though he lost his father, his only family that truly loved him, he still cared for her dismay.Reva put her hand on his shoulder and made him look towards her. "Are you okay? You know that right. You can talk to me." Louis was flabbergasted. She never shows her softness to him. Louis nodded and avoided eye contact. "Okay, then I'm going to check Shrey."Reva said, standing, "Thank you." Louis muttered, rested his head on the sofa, and closed his eyes. Reva went inside Shrey's room, but to her dismay, she was already asleep, and her face was covered with sheets with the lights off.Reva went near her, removed the sheet from Shrey's face, and placed a small kiss on her for
Louis’s mom and Reva's dad revealed two years ago that they are together; it was shocking news for both of them because they knew each other since childhood and each other's family condition as well.Knowing the fact that Reva's father is highly toxic, Louis’s mom decided to have a relationship, which irked both Reva and Louis. And now they are both in a living relationship, which has led Louis, Reva, and her elder sister to leave the house."Anika is getting married, ironically on the same day as your dad," Shrey said to herself, frustrated about whose wedding she should attend now. Both Louis and Reva looked at her with a done face, "Wow, this is what you care about?" Louis asked, "Oh, wait, if they get married, you both will be step-siblings; aw, what a cute little brother sister duo!" Shrey said, dramatically laughing it out.Louis stood and slowly went near Shrey and yelled, "Shut up, Shrey, just shut up in no fucking way you're helping us to cop up with this problem.I'm sorry,
