Lance's POV

I was in the shower when my body began to react differently. My wolf was in desperate need of my mate and that was something I knew could not happen just yet.

Even after telling her that I would be leaving today, she still didn't want to leave. There is absolutely nothing here in Pennsylvania for her. Not even family. All she had was her younger sister, Anna. No friends, no one else.

Under the shower, I began to rethink my decision. If I eventually left her here in Pennsylvania, she would be gone in two days' time. There were people after her and unless I eliminate them, they will keep coming until they get their revenge.

An example of someone like this was Dean, the new enemy but an old one remains James who I noticed has been the one sending those men who we eliminate before they even dare to get close to her.
