Chapter 3

         *20 years later los Angeles*

Melissa walked into her daughter's room who was still fast asleep

"Wakey wakey" Melissa said pulling her daughter's cheek

"Go away" Nirvana said and turn, facing the other side of the bed

"Annah, You will be late for school" Melissa said and she sat up groaning and grumbling inaudible words to herself

"What are you grumbling at young lady"

"Gosh, why must today be another school day?" She sighed and her phone suddenly rang out loud that she had to block her ears with her hands

"This crazy b!tch again?" She muttered before picking up

"I will meet you downstairs" she said and Melissa sigh before exiting the room

📞 Hey b!tch, didn't you sleep? Why the disturbance this early morning? Nirvana snap

📞 Hey crazy, calm down and get your ass of that bed.. Aliya said from the other end

Aliya and Nirvana has been friends since child hood. They do things together, go to clubs together and any other things you could imagine, they were what you would call partners in crime but with all that, Nivanah wasn't into boys not after the heartbreak she got from Jason a dancer in her school

📞 wait, how did you know am still on bed? Nirvana asked then gasp suddenly

📞 Did you plant a bug in here? She exclaimed

📞 Wtf!! After yesterday's party, I knew your crazy self will still be sleeping

📞 But babe, I'm tired and wasn't planning on going to school today until Melissa came spoiled my sleep.. Nirvana said with a sigh and Aliya chuckled

📞 witch, you can't change, anyway will be dropping at your place, so in the next 30min, you should be done

📞 Alright, extend my greetings to Mrs Smith.. Nirvana said

📞 Yeah, Mrs Smith will surely hear it.. Aliya said and ended the call

Nirvana got down from the bed and walked to the bathroom for a quick bath. She came out minutes later looking refresh, she searched her wardrobe and got a comfy and simple dress from it since She wasnt that much of a fashion lady before heading to the sitting room

She met her dad and mom already seated.

"Morning dad" Nirvana said pecking her dad on the cheek

"You look awesome princess" Maxwell, her dad said and Nirvana cheek's immediately turned red. She has always love it when her parents keep telling her how beautiful she was

Of course she's a goddess when it comes to beauty. She always wondered why Jason cheated on her when she's this beautiful

Fix your attitude .. Her subconsciouse mind told her

F"ck attitude..

Nirvanah join them on the table and started eating when the door burst open

"That bitch is here" She smiled and Aliya walked in immediately

"Good morning mom, and you too dad" Aliya greeted pecking them each before joining us on the table

"Morning dear, You came early today" Maxwell stated and Aliya smiled

"Thats because Nirva here will be performing today at school cuz i did mine on Friday"

"Is there something going on in school?" Melissa asked

"Nirva, you didn't tell them anything?" Aliyah crease her brow 

"What are you talking about? Am i supposed to tell them something ? She asked, confused

"I still wonder how we manage to be friends. Do you attend classes at all? Aliya asked

"Hey, don't go there, you are the one who doesn't attend your classes, what am i even saying? We are in two different department" Nirvana bang her hand softly on the table

"Shut up b*tch" 

"No, you shut up, I'm into music and you're in that bloody dance department" Nirvana fired while Maxwell and his wife just watch the two girls

They always argue each morning and evening or any time they're together

"That should be the main reason you should be aware of the up coming competiton for singers" Aliya said

"Wait, Really? There's a competition? Nirvana asked with widdened eyes

"You see, you dont even know" Aliya shook her head at her

"Is this how you two behave in front of Mr smith?" Melissa asked 

"Lets not talk about that now. Liya, get your ass off that seat. I don't want to be late for the selection" Nirvana said standing

"I havent even eaten" Liya complained

"No, no, you will do that when we come back" Nirvana said dragging Aliya by the ear

"Ah, ah, that hurts, that hurts" Aliya wince in pain

"Bye mom, bye dad, see you later, love you" Nirvana said in one breath

"Bye mom, dad, i love you" Aliya said as she was dragged out side

"What was that for?" Aliya asked immediately Nirvana let go of her

"I'm sorry babe, lets just hurry , i will buy anything you wanna eat" she said and Aliya grin widely

"Anything?"

"Yes, anything"

"Now that's a promise. You can't change your mind later" Aliya warned and she nodded

"Thats my girl" Aliya smile but Nirvana returned the smile with an eye roll

"Liya, Where's your car?" Nirvana asked

"I asked the driver to take it back home. I wanna ride with you"

"Get in or else you'd be using the public transport". Nirvana said as she entered the car

"You wouldn't dare do that" Aliya replied before entering the car

"You should have proven stubborn and watch me do it"Nirvana smirk as she started the car

"Only a fool would think you can't do it" Aliya said 

She knew too well that Nirvana was a person of her words.

 * Diamond musical institute *

Nirvana and Aliya got to school as usual, guys from their department and other departments turned and watch as they walk languidly to their department while few girls stared hatefully at them

👥 OMG! Is Nirva an angel?

👥 I don't like her arrogant personality

👥 Liya is pretty

👥 Nirvana is prettier

👥 I love them both

"Ignore them and be nice Okay? She waved at Nirvana before walking to her department. she sighted Jason at the end of the hall way – he was leaning on the wall

Jason too was a dancer like her, they're in the same department

"Hi Liya' he greeted but she ignored as she walk past him to her seat

"I'm talking to you" Jason said sitting opposite her

"I know i wronged Nirva, pls Liya can you talk to her? I know i made a mistake, but it was Ariana who took advantage of me" Jason said and Aliya looked at him briefly

"And we saw you kissing her like crazy? As if that was not enough , we caught you having $êx with her. See jason, I'm not here for all this talk, I'm busy, you can go explain yourself to Nirva. Miss Sasha will be waiting for me in the practice hall, i dont want to keep her waiting" Liya said and walk out on him

"Argh!!" Jason sigh out in frustration hitting his hand on the wall

"Stop hurting yourself because of that b*tch" Ariana appeared

'Look here Ariana, I've told you, i don't like you neither do i love you, so just get the hell out of my life will you" Jason snapped and walk away while Ariana smiled briefly. She was happy her action caused their (him and Nirva) breakup

Jason is one of the best dancers in their department and also the dream guy of every girl in the institute but he had eyes just for Nirvana. He was her first love, but his carelessness made them break up

It took Nirvana months to finally let go of her feelings for him but then, she decided she wasn't gonna fall inlove with any guy again.. She didn't want to be hurt by love again.

Nirvana got to class and sat down putting on her headphone. She's the top best singer in diamond musical institute. And she likes listening to music.

She's a soloist and also a composer. She's real good with lyrics 

"What are you doing here? You were supppose to be in the practice hall for the up coming competition" A girl said while Nirvana just stared at her lips as they moved. She wasn't hearing what the person was saying because of how loud the song she was listening to was.

"Where you talking to me? Nirvana asked taking the headphone away from her ears

"Sir Alexander wants you in the practice hall" The girl said with and eye roll

Nirvana stood up and walk closer to the girl.

"Don't roll your eyes at me next time, i can't promise their safety" she whispered and push the girl away before leaving for the practice hall

Everyone had gathered already as she got into the hall. Different student's from different department were already practicing 

The hall was wide enough to accomodate all of them....

The singers, the dancers, the violinist, the keyboardist, the ballerinas and so on

"You are late.. Always late" Mr Alex said immediately Nirvana entered the hall

"I went partying last night so i over slept" she replied flatly

"Its fine, just dont kill the talent you have" Mr Alex said and she nodded.

"You must have heard about the up coming contest in south korea haven't you? Miss loveth asked

Miss Loveth was also one of their voice trainers. she's pretty and was tagged " music witch" by her students

"Yeah Aliya told me about it, I actually forgot" Nirvana reply

"Okay then. Now show us what you've got" Miss Loveth said and she nodded before climbing up the stage.. It was her turn to sing cause others in her department had already done that. 

Nirvana took a deep breath before she finally started singing. Her voice was like that of an angel, those passing by the hall came rushing in only to see the queen of music perform

Nirvana:🎶 The words i desperately held to my heart

 🎶The words i thought were sincere 

 🎶 But it broke my heart when i realise i was living in the shadows of your lies

 🎶 My heart ache every moment when i remember your empty promises

 🎶 Love!!!!!!!! Made a fool of me!!!!!!! And i fell for it

 🎶 Are you gonna miss me the way i miss you!!!!!! I miss, I miss, I miss, I miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss....you!!!!!

"OMG" Miss Loveth exclaimed at how high her pitch was

Her song touched the heart of her listeners and miss Loveth started crying without realizing it..

She was actually singing a breakup song. She sang as tears dropped down her cheek. She wanted to sing the song for a long time after her break up with Jason now she's given the opportunity

 🎶 I dont want to be a fool for love anymore

 🎶 My only sin was loving you sincerely

 🎶 i was blinded, i couldn't see how much pain you've caused me

 🎶 i never want to fall inlove again!!!! Again!!!!! Never!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some students we crying too, the song was just too emotional, and the way she could control her voice made Alex smile.

She rounded up the song on a low pitch and the already filled hall clapped for her

"Thats my music witch" Aliya shouted from the crowd.

"You did well Nirvana" Miss Loveth said and she smiled

"Thanks, I'm happy i have you both as my teachers, I wont disappoint you" she said and they both smiled at her.

They are the reason she could sing on any pitch without difficulties 

"Even if you are the only one representing us out there, I'm sure you will still be the winner" A guy said and everyone cheered on hearing that

 *Desmond's mansion, south korea*

"Its been 20yrs now and you still haven't seen sera, how do you plan in finding her? Micheal asked

"Can't you use your power to locate her?" Mich asked again

"I would've located her by now if thought it worked" Desmond replied

"You mean you couldn't still trace her with your powers?" Mich ask and he nodded

"I will be going out for some air" Desmond said

"Just call me anytime you need something, i will be there right away" Mich said and desmond nodded.

"And you better Dont think of using your powers, i wont be able to defend you this time"Desmond warned and Mich nodded..

"See you soon" he said and opened the door revealing jenny

"Hi Desmond, Hi Mich" Jenny wave and Micheal force a smile

"What are you doing here? Desmond asked but she ignore him and walk into the house

Jenny has been a bone on Desmond's neck ever since he almost knock her down with his car 2 years ago. She collapsed on the spot and Desmond brought her to his home and since then, she kept bugging him and he's starting to find her interestimg though he's restricting himself because of Sera

Jenny immediately started developing feelings for desmond ever since the incident

She hugged Desmond tightly but he just stood still wondering if he should hug her back or push her away.

"Someone needs my presence at the hospital and i need to be there" Desmond said coldly pulling jenny off him gently 

"Why do you love going to the hospital? You aren' t sick and you're not even a doctor"

"Does it matter?"

"Here I brought some dishes.. I know you guys wouldn't cook so i made some kimchi stew" Jenny said placing a lunch box on the table

The scent alone made Micheal salivate but desmond wasn't moved. Not that he hates jenny, but jenny in someways behave like Sera, he is just being careful he doesn't fall for another mortal

"I was on my way out when you came.. I will get going" Desmond said she sigh softly

she's been doing all this so desmond can even like her but yet.. Desmond doesn't even look her side..

Aren't i pretty enough? She thought and Desmond scoff.. 

"Dont think too much.. You're pretty they way you are" Desmond said before walking out and jenny blush heavily

"How did you know my thought? She smiled while Micheal just stare at her blankly

He didn't hate jenny but the fact desmond was getting close to her was what he hated

She actually doesn't know who they were and now she's into Desmond.. 

"Humans are really one of a kind. Falling for someone they dont even know" he breath out

"When am i eating?" Micheal asked jenny who was still blushing

"Sorry boy, i need to go now, desmond isn't here so there is no reason for me to stay any longer

"You can eat all you want" Jenny said still smiling as she carried her bag and also left

The fact desmond said she was beautiful was doing magic on her 

"Wait.. Boy? Did you just call me a boy?" Micheal shouted but jenny was far gone

"How can she call me a boy when i'm old enough to be her grandfather" Micheal said walking to the kitchen with the dishes.
