High Authority head Samantha had been working hard to try and keep everyone calm. Officers were panicking about Alexander and she had no idea what she could say to relax the families. Her office had become her safe haven. She could work silently and there was no one to question her about what to do or how to prepare to defeat Alexander. She remembered what Alexandra and Adom told her two hours ago. No one could manipulate a authority mind. That's one of the things for what the they made a train young officers is made for. They needed a plan, and fast. She had to protect her city and the authority. That's her job.
So why was she willing to sacrifice one of her one? Sure many agree, the life of one for the lives of billions of people. But that's not how they are raised to think. How could she face everyone after they find out that she has given away the life of a young women. A girl who has already suffered enough.
She thought of the girls fam
Ashly liked to walk. Long walks in which she could think without having to worry about her noisy friends or family. Usually, these walks would relax her. She could forget about her problems. But unfortunately, this time, that wasn't the case.Flashback:-"Prea, I'm going out!" Ashly yelled, taking two steps down the stairs at a time."Where are you going?" It was Man. She stopped Ashly at the bottom of the stairs, blocking her path."Out." said Ashly."Where's out." Man imitated Ashly voice. Ashly scowled. Then she remembered why she was in a hurry."I don't have time for this." She pushed Man to the side and walked out the house."Wait, Ashly! What the hell ??" Man looked worried. "Tell me where you're going in such a hurry." He demanded."I don't have to tell you anyth
"Hey, why did you follow after Ashly like that?" Prea asked when to Man walked into the base."I confronted het about her sneak outs." He said. Shrugging off his jacket and slinging it over his right arm."Sneak outs?" Prea asked in a curious voice. Of course she knew about Ashly so called 'sneak outs' but she didn't know just how much Man knew about them."Yeah, I made her promise not to keep going having fun without you and me." Prea rolled her eyes at Man."She told you that's what she's been doing?" She asked incredulously. Following after Man."Well no." said Man. "I kind of made the connections after I saw her bruises." Prea stopped. Man, sensing she wasn't following, turned around and eyed wide-eyed Prea."Bruises?" she asked. "What kind of bruises??""Well you know. All over her body... Have you not seen them?" Prea was at a loss for words. She knew Ashl
Ashly stepped into her boyfriend's apartment. Shee expected a beating, but she was surprised when the older boy pulled her to the couch and peppered her neck with kisses. It was still so weird to Ashly how they've never kissed each other on the lips but Yanyan didn't have a problem with kissing her all over her chest and neck. They spent some minutes just cuddling and watching a movie, until Ashly got hungry."Hey, Yanyan, should we order something to eat?" Yanyan smiled."I already did before you got here. It shouldn't take much longer." And sure enough, 5 minutes later and there was a knock on the door."Could you get that Ashly? There's money on the counter." Yanyan walked into his small kitchen while Ashly went to pay for their food."Hi! Wow, you have such beautiful eyes." The man said. He had short light brown hair and dark colored eyes. He also had a stubble that Ashly woul
Present:-Alexandra couldn't stop thinking about Yanyan lately. She spent years keeping her past hidden, but now that Alexander has broken through her walls (and not in a good way) she kept replaying her insecurities and nightmares."Alexandra!" She was broken out of her thoughts. Win and Pheuk stared at her worriedly. She had been pulled out of bed that morning by her friends. Saying they need to spend some time together. They planned on just training outside somewhere private but they had run into Pheuk and they decided he could join. Now, instead of going to train, they were accompanying Pheuk to buy his new gun."Sorry, what?" She asked Pheuk. He showed her the gun in his hand."What about this one?" He asked again. Alexandra eyed it. It was a silver gun. Not longer than her arm. It had a black hilt and Alexandra didn't need to look more before she shook her head."I don't like it." Pheuk looked
"Alexandra! Hey, wait!" Alexandra stopped. Win caught up to her, panting a little. "I wanted to thank you.""For what??" Alexandra looked honestly confused."For what you said back there. To Pheuk." Win smiled. "It meant a lot to him.""It was nothing." Alexandra continued to walk. "He's a smart boy. Sooner or later, he would've come to terms with his name himself.""Still, thank you." Alexandra smiled at her friend."Where's Pheuk anyway?""He went to back house. His mom wanted him home early." Alexandra laughed. "It's funny how protective she is.""I don't see the funny part. Nora has lost so much, she can't risk losing her any children too." Win stopped laughing. He knew that, he was only trying to lighten up the mood, but it seems like Alexandra was not up for it."Where are you going? You just left Diana's palce
"What's bothering you?" Adom asked. Knowing Alexandra so well to know something was wrong. Alexandra opened her mouth to speak. "And don't say nothing." Reluctantly Alexandr replied."I don't know." Adom frowned. He hated the sound of Alexnadra voice. So weak and lost. Like she honestly didn't know what was wrong. And maybe she didn't. Adom stopped walking and faced Alexandra. He watched her black hair dancing around to the wind. Her eyes were their beautiful shade, but they looked clouded and broken. He could see the pain in them, and it broke Adom heart."Alexandra. You can tell me anything, you know that right?" Alexandra finally met her eyes and they seemed to stare into each other for hours but was merely seconds before Alexandra looked away."I just can't stop thinking." Her voice waved of desolation. "About my family, what Alexander could do to them. About my friends. About my baby moon. And I can't stop thinking about yo
"Alexander." muttered Alexandra, before she took off on a sprint to base, Adom hot on his heels. The only thought in Alexandra mind was her new family. She couldn't let them get hurt, she had to find them before Alexander did."Alexandra wait!" Adom tried to make her stop. Alexandra was running to the Gard were everyone seemed be going to - all the younger kids were being guided the opposite way. She knew Prea and Win would want to fight, and if the fight seemed to be coming from there, then that's exactly were they will be. "Alexandra!" Adom took hold of her hand, stopping her from moving any further. Alexandra pulled her hand back, Adom letting her after realising what she has done. "I'm sorry. Ale-""Don't." She gritted through her teeth. "I understand you don't want me to go in there. But Win and Prea could be in danger. My whole family could be, and I will not cower back just because it's Alexander.""Your family wouldn't judge
"Were have you been?! We've been looking everywhere for you!" Alexandra was surprised at how worried he was but then gestured to Adom and Mike seemed to understand. Mike looked around in confusion. Alexandra could get a better look at him. His hair was messy and the hair that fell on his forehead had some blood on it. His mouth had dried blood, and his shirt was dirty with blood all over especially in a small area where Alexnadra was sure Mike used to try to wipe the disgusting blood on his mouth. Alexandr felt a pang of pity for him. Mike never wanted to be parts this type of situation."Why aren't we being attacked?!" He screeched. Standing protectively on Alexandra other side as he watched the cursed army pass them by."Alexander most likely gave them orders not to hurt Alexandra." Adom said. Not breaking his concentration from the danger around them."Well, I hope you don't mind me staying with you
