She tried to remember what happened, but every part of her felt like it was going in slow motion and the stinging from her neck told her sluggish brain that she must have been drugged. She slowly moved his hands up over to cover her tattoo mark and winced when she couldn't feel anything coming now, like her connection had been cut off to her mind and it hurt more than the drug pumping through her veins had done.
