Chapter 5

Four years later ~

Ashley returned from the state with a medical degree topping her class with excellence. As the granddaughter of a billionaire, she made use of the family's private jet. Her flight wasn't in any way stressful with all the princess treatment she received.

A black sunglasses shade her eyes from the scorching sun. She wore a fitting brown gown, perfect for her scarlet completion and shape. Over the years she has added a lot of weight, looked very beautiful like a model. Her formerly thin body now looked curvier and full. It was hard to believe this was Ashley.

Her hips swayed from side to side as she moved. Good thing she used the vip section of the airport avoiding the prying eyes that had already stripped her naked.

"Wow."

Every male exclaimed. They haven't seen an angel like her. A black limousine waited for her arrival.

"Welcome back ms. Ashley Manchester."

Big guy greeted her professionally. If only she was someone else he would have flirted with her but this was his boss daughter. She's out of his league.

"You're looking different from the big man."

Ashley started the conversation. His beards had grown a lot bigger all over his jaws. His chest was the size of when she left him for school.

"Thank you ms. I have been busy at the gym. Girls love all the muscles."

He pumped his chest making Ashley laugh hard.

That was the end of their conversion. The rest of the ride remained in silence. Her car arrived at the mansion. Nothing much had changed in two years. Grandfather put in a lot of money to maintain the mansion until date.

The Maids, Mr. Manchester, Alex, Cassandra and Lilah waited outside to receive their guests. Alex and Cassandra did not see the need to wait outside to receive her. They frowned at this idea.

'why didn't her plane crash?'

Cassandra's heart was filled with bitterness, hate and anger.

' Here comes grandfather's prestigious granddaughter.'

Said Alex under his breath. Welcome home dear cousin I've got big plans for you.

"My favorite cousin has returned."

Lilah jumped into Ashley's arms before anyone else. Grandfather had missed Ashley the most followed by Lilah.

"I missed you cousin Ashley."

She remained in Ashley's embrace not letting go until grandfather roughly cleared his throat.

"Can I get a hug as well?"

Grandfather and daughter hugged. A tear escaped her eye.

"Hi Alex and Cassandra. I can see you two are doing just fine." Ashley greeted briefly. They didn't get along and she wasn't ready to pretend.

Alex forged a smile shaking hands with her. Cassandra refused. She got into the house before anyone else.

Different dishes of delicacies spread on the table. Ashley could only eat little. Her stomach was filled with food from the plane.

"Father will be hosting a party tonight. We need to go shopping, just you and I, Cousin Ashley."

Lilah specified who she meant.

Ashley wasn't allowed to rest. Lilah forced her to shop despite the clothes she already had. Lilah called them old school.

While Ashley chose simple gowns, Lilah ventured for High class see through gowns.

"That will look perfect on you."

"Hell no Lilah. This is..."

"Perfecto" Lilah immediately said, but Ashley was disturbed by how short the dress was.

Lilah used her own card to pay for the dress, shoes and jewelry. The figures meant nothing to her at all. Any time she needed money all she needed to do was place a call.

From a distance a lady about Ashley's age watched the duo relate as relatives. She squinted her eyes so many times to make sure she was seeing the right and not hallucinating things.

"Isn't that Ashley?"

She looked harder and hot closer a bit not raising suspicion. She watched closely, the lady did look like the richer version of Ashley.

"Ashley, no fucking way."

Once she was done shopping she headed straight up to Justin's home. screeching the car to a quick halt.

"Babe."

She ran through the stairs into his room. Justine wasn't at home. He might have gone for work.

"What is it Valerie?" Lady Wilson called from the garden upon hearing her voice.

"Ohh Lady Wilson, I saw the impossible today."

She held onto her thudding chest. She hadn't recovered from the shock.

"Did you see Ashley's ghost?"

Lady Wilson joked laughing at Valeria's scared face.

"Oh no! Not that" she managed to respond.

"So tell me the impossible that happened today."

"You may not believe it, Lady Wilson but I saw Ashley with the granddaughter of Mr. Manchester at the boutique today holding hands."

Lady Wilson froze then unfroze. She wasn't sure if she heard correctly. Ashley with the multi-billionaire granddaughter. Highly impossible.

"Stop talking nonsense. Justin mustn't hear a word of this. Now go get ready for tonight's welcoming party."
