Ava's POV:
Standing by the window and gazing at the glinting orris-silver moon, I was thinking how my whole world has changed just in a matter of hours.I'd always loved the moon. The way it shines in the dreary sky, surrounded by millions of twinkling stars, alone but still holds power and beauty. The moon came to the sky as a mother comes to sing a soft lullaby to ease her children into a star-filled night. It graces the sky as if she'd had some bright idea, something brilliant needed to shine upon the earth. It has always mesmerized me, but today it didn't, I wasn't feeling anything. There was a numb pain in my chest. My mind was black, just like this night.Once again, gazing at the sky, thinking, Is this how you feel when you find your mate? Is this how your first night with your mate's supposed to be? Many questions were swirling in my mind, many questions I had, that I wanted to ask him but for the first time in my life, I was afraid of the answers.Turning my tearful and helpless eyes towards the moon, I hearkened back to today's morning. -----------------------------TODAY'S MORNING:I don't remember how long I was sitting there in the rain. I heard footsteps approaching me, but I paid no heed to them. A hand was placed over my shoulder. “Ava, what happened”?“Sapp, why are you crying”?I lifted my tearful gaze toward my friends, tilted my head, and opened my mouth to speak, but words were stuck in my throat. I was pleading with my eyes to feel the pain through my eyes.I placed my palm over my mouth, turned over my heels, and ran outside the school premises towards the woods. I ran and ran, and never looked back. My heart was breaking, my wolf was howling in pain. I ran deeper and deeper until I came across the place that always brings me tranquility and peace. It was a long time back, I used to come here a lot, but today I needed it the most. I still remember the day, I came across this beautiful treehouse and met Dryad, the woodland fairy.-------------------------------------(Flashback to when Ava was 5 years old)“Ava, come here Sweetie," Aubrey shouted from the kitchen to her 5-year-old daughter who was picking flowers in their backyard.Upon hearing her mother's call, she took her basket in her tiny hands and walked back inside.“Yes, mama”, little Ava said adorably.“Can you please take these sandwiches to the backyard”? Her mother asked while cutting the fruits.Today was a beautiful day, so the Chantria family opted for a family picnic in their backyard. Little Ava was hyped, she woke up earlier than usual and went to the backyard to pick flowers. With a soft pink glow, the heavenly sunrise warmed the early morning. The sparkling morning dew lit up the grass plains like a colony of fireflies. After setting everything up, they sat and had their breakfast, laughing and enjoying.Ava's parents were engaged in a conversation when Ava, saw a beautiful, blue butterfly.Ava stood up and started following it to the woods. Little curious Ava doesn't know that while following the butterfly, she has accidentally gone to the deeper part of the forest. The forest was so magical and beautiful. Ava started observing her surrounding, tall trees, squirrels chattering, birds singing, insects humming, everything was new yet so alluring to the innocent soul. At this point, the butterfly has forgotten long ago.Ava was mesmerized by everything. She took a deep breath and felt the brisk forest air fill her lungs. Ava was observing everything with watchful eyes. There were more than fifty types of birds living in the lush oak trees. She heard a buzzing sound and turned in that direction, only to see a beehive. She tried to touch it, but it was high enough. Furthermore, she jumped again and again but failed. Ava pouted, she wanted to touch it. The minute details of the honeycomb inside the beehive were mathematically wondrous. She heard the sound of feet shuffling, which broke her stance of observation and started following it.By now, she was in the deepest part of the forest. This part was different from the whole forest, it was more magical. Trees were wearing beautiful yellow and orange leaves like ornaments. The leaves on the ground look like a beautiful desert. The sight of the endless yellow and orange desert before she was s spectacular. While walking, she came across an old treehouse. The treehouse was located in an idyllic corner of the forest, undisturbed by others and almost completely quiet.Ava opened the door and went inside. She was looking around when she heard a voice.“My child,” Ava abruptly turned around, expecting a ghost or monster, which she heard of in stories, but instead there stood a beautiful fairy. Long golden hair, milky white skin, mesmerizing eyes, and wearing a beautiful green dress.“Who are you”? Ava asked innocently while tilting her head.“My name's Dryad, I'm a woodland fairy,” she replied, smiling at the innocent creature.Ava was still looking at her innocently without saying anything. The fairy came forward and kneeled to her level, taking her hands in hers, smiling.“I'm a woodland fairy,” the fairy said gently."A real fairy," Ava asked innocently still gaping at her."Yes, sweetheart,".“Woodland fairies are a race of fairies that live in the woods. We are the oldest race of fairies. We are known for our immense power and beauty. This treehouse has been my house for the past 1100 years. Today I'm going where I belong, my kingdom, Dark Estrabos kingdom. But my child, you can come here anytime. This is now yours. We'll meet one day, but remember, my child, never let the ugliness of the world, take your kindness. Your heart is entire without malice. Your kindness is your power. You're more than what you think you're, but you'll know it at the right time.” She kissed her forehead and a green light surrounded them, it was so bright that Ava had to close her eyes and when she opened them, the fairy was gone.-------------------------------------BACK TO THE PRESENT:I was inside the treehouse, and my heart and my wolf were both hurting. Why me?I forgot how long I was there. I looked at my watch, it was late. Just as I decided to walk back to the pack, my best friend's friends came inside, worried as hell.“Thank God, Ava, you know we have searched the whole pack house for you.” Cora sighed exasperatedly.Fleur smacked her on the head, “I told you, dumbass, she would be here, but you had to go and check the whole pack, thinking someone kidnapped her.”“What, don't tell me, you didn't watch in shows how they kidnap beautiful young girls, and then you know what happens to them,” Cora said sheepishly while shifting from one leg to another. I laughed through my tears, hearing that, they both rushed towards me.“What happened, Ava”, they both asked together.I sighed and told them everything from the morning, by the end of the time I finished speaking, Cora and Fleur were seething in anger."That sorry excuse of an alpha, what the hell he thinks of himself? I'll fuck him,” Cora said angrily. Fleur and I were looking at her with our mouths agape.Realizing what she said, Cora quickly came to my side, “Ava, Ewwww I will never fuck him, you know I was angry, and you know how I am, and you know, she started blabbing.“Easy there, Cora, I know you only said this because you're angry and care for me. I know you will never hurt me intentionally,” I reassured her.“One thing I don't understand is, what alpha Xavier sees in Jessica”? Fleur said.“What are you insinuating, Fleur"?Fleur looked at me and said, “She isn't what she shows she is. She's a manipulative bitch. She just pretends to be good and all when in reality, she's far from that.“She's beautiful, rich and Xavier loves her,” I said while looking at my lap.“But baby, she isn't you, and Alpha's supposed to love you not her, Cora said softly.I was fidgeting with my fingers, something I do when I'm nervous or sad. I didn't know what to say. Fleur understood, she came and hugged me.“Forget about that douche alpha. If he can't see how amazing you're and how wonderful Luna you would be, then it's his fault. We'll never leave your side, We will always be here for you. We will always be best friends. ALWAYS TOGETHER.” I hugged her back, tightly. Soon, Cora joined the hug. They're my best friends, my rock.Breaking the hug, Cora said, “Let's go, get some coffee. A strong cup of coffee may help invigorate you.”I smiled and we all left the treehouse.--------------------------------------Ava's POV:At the witching hour of 3:00 AM, the elusive embrace of sleep eluded my weary eyes, leaving me entangled in the shadows of another restless night. A symphony of sighs accompanied my futile attempt to find solace, as I shifted, hoping to escape the clutches of insomnia. It has been a week since that fateful day, and my heart, a vessel of agony, echoes the unanswered questions that reverberate through the corridors of my restless mind. The weight of this emotional crucible surpasses the scars of yesteryears; the damages foisted upon my soul now cut deeper than any external affliction. The resonance of pain, silent yet profound, surpasses the echoes of past misconducts. This intangible suffering, more potent than the tangible, lingers in the void left by tacit words and disgruntled promises.Staring at the ceiling, I wondered, how will it be to be loved by him. There are so many things that I want to tell him, so many questions, I want answers from him. I want to hug him tight
Ava's POV:I turned around and saw a big brown wolf, snarling at me. He was huge with big red eyes and saliva dripping from his sharp yellow cannings. He was growling, and ready to pounce on me. I took a step back, trying to make a run for my life. Never in my life, I had countered a rouge. He was taking slow, hunting steps towards me. Just as I was making a run, he pounced on me and Digg his sharp claws in my arm, slashing me. I screamed in pain, blood started dripping from my wound, involuntary my hand was placed over my mind to stop the pain and the bleeding. The wolf again aimed for a bite but I evaded him. I kicked him in the face, he snarled back, I sprinted towards the woods. I was running as fast as my legs can take me. I tried to shift into my wolf but the pain was too much to bear. I tried mind linking Cora and fleur but I couldn’t. I heard snarling, and heavy paws battering on the ground. I speed up, but now, I was deeper in the woods. While running I tripped over a lo
Ava's POV:I was staring at the scene unfold in front of me… Just imagine you see a dark, scary boogie monster in your dreams and wake-up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and now you’re in the hurry to switch on the lights but it didn’t work and instead you see the same boogie monster in front of you, smiling evilly and being ready to eat you alive, to scare you with the lights on… “BANG,” “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh,” I and cora screamed and jumped out of the couch. The popcorn flew in the air and came down as moon goddess blessing her favorite couple with beautiful lilies. Fleur were laughing her ass off, cora had popcorn in her mouth and hair while I was on the floor with sheets tangled in my feet. That was the scariest jumpscare I have seen or maybe I’m just not used to horror movies as my heart was threatening to jump out of my chest. Today, fleur decided to have a PJ party at her house as me and cora were so happy with our loving mates so she decided to celebrate u
“Her attempts to piece together a shattered connection were met with indifference, a painful dance of hope and heartache.”Author's POV:In the quiet sanctuary of her room, Ava clings to a well-worn diary, its pages burdened with the weight of unspoken agony and tearful laments. The moonlight, a spectral companion, casts an ethereal glow upon her, accentuating the raw emotion etched across her face. Her hair flowed like a witch spell as the night wind danced through the thick knots. Her eyes trained on the pages that held her sanity. Her hands trembling as she caressed the portrait. The distant howls, like haunting echoes, mirror the inner tempest of her soul, each reverberation a poignant reminder of the profound sadness that envelops her in the stillness of the night. Her heart was heavy and her breathing labored as she stared haphazardly at the set of eyes on the white canvas that was both her curse and blessing."Why is his perception so veiled? Each effort to mend the chasm is s
Ava's POV:“ Alright, class, that’s all for today. Remember! All the marks of your quizzes will be added to your annual examination. And also, a trip is coming, so make sure to check the notice board for further instructions,”. Garish applause spewed in the class after the last statement. The entire class started murmuring about the coming trip. “I'm so excited about this trip, no restrictions, no studies,” a girl squealed from beside us. “Also, You guys know that Beta, Daniel Harrison, is back from his training. I saw him this morning, and Oh my, was he looking so eatable,” another girl let out. “Oh my yes! Our Alpha, beta, and gamma are so hot. Three Greek Gods, we can use our magic on them, I don‘tmind a taste of them, although we have a leech always sucking Alpha Xavier's attention, but I don’t mind,” the third girl said dreamily, and all of them squealed. “I would love a piece of Beta Daniel, Ohhhhh how I wish he would crush me between his thick thighs,” the first girl spoke
"I fell in love with the echoes of your touch, a silent caress that spoke louder than hands ever could."Ava's POV: “Um… I… Me,” I stammered like an idiot. His eyes were gleaming, his blissful gazes making my knees weak. I didn't even listen his words. He doesn’t know the effect he has on me. “Yes love,” he tilted his neck and smirked. I looked down, his gaze was doing something to me. “Wha… I," Dang! What’s wrong with me? Why am I stuttering like an idiot? “Why are you embarrassing us,” my Wolf wined, making my eyes wide as watermelons. Like seriously! Fucking traitor. Now, she is talking. “Pack your bags, You are moving in with me,” he said and turned around to leave. Moving? Like the pack house? What the hell does he mean by moving in with him? “Come again,” I asked, not believing my ears. “Pack your stuff, I'll fetch you around 8,” he said and ran his fingers through his hair. A habit of his, he do when he is nervous or stressed. He said it so casually, while I still could
Love thrives through hope!Ava's POV:“Want me to tell you a story,” Mom asked, breaking me from my reverie. I looked at her, but she was looking absent-mindedly outside the window. “Laura, my best friend from high school. She was the most lovely and calm person. But she hated being bullied and will always stand up for herself and others. You know how we met,”? Mom asked, a small smile playing on her lips as if she were reminiscing about that time.“That was the first day of my middle school and also hers. We both hate bullies, and there was this horde of stupid brats. They would bully anyone. That day, when I entered school, they approached me and tried to bully me, but of course, I fought back and when they knew that they couldn’t bully me, they gave me a dare,". ------------------------• FLASHBACK: Let’s see how brave you are miss I-am-not-afraid,” the queen bee mocked her while her friends snickered.“You have to slap the first person entering through that gate,”.She moved to
"Amidst the petals of desire, their souls entwined, creating a garden of emotions waiting to bloom."Ava's POV:The night went into its darkest facet but my mind was unable to process anything. The pain in my body has ebbed but the pain in my heart will never be. As I lay curled on the cold floor, the darkness around me seemed to mirror the shadows within. The pain in my body was tangible, but the ache in my heart cut deeper. Conflicting emotions surged within me—love entwined with uncertainty, desire tangled with fear.Slowly standing up, a hiss escaped my lips as a sharp pain jolted through my lower region. Physical agony became a manifestation of the emotional turmoil we grappled with. His name flashing on the screen was a trigger, evoking tears that blurred the line between love and heartbreak.Cutting the call, I put the phone back on the table. Veering around, I had hardly taken a step when my phone rang again. Turning around, I saw his name. "Hello," I answered hoarsely. Harsh

Keep loving and supporting xoxo. -----------------AUTHOR'S POV:Ava shrieked at the hurried, loud crash. The Luna's cried at the impact. Ava jumped on her seat. Xavier placed his hand on the back of her back and rubbed it softly. He can feel her heart thumping like a wild hurricane. He wrapped his arm around her and blanketed her in his arms. Zion growled, seeing his mate in distress. “What's that,”? Fleur hollered, grabbing Beta Daniel's hand tightly. She glanced at Ava worriedly. They all stood alert while looking around. She went close to Ava and with her other hand clutch, her hand tightly. Everyone in the pack house jolted at the collision. Suddenly, black, heavy clouds adorned the sky. The one bright moon slowly dressed in a black cloak. The warriors patrolling gazed at the angry sky and terror ran down their selves. They weren't aware of anything or the events hap

Keep loving and supporting. ----------------AUTHOR'S POV:Xavier's heart rebounded a beat at her response. His heartbeat rocked at her answer. Guilt and love surged through his being. He couldn't take his eyes off her. He knew that she loves him more than anything. This silly girl lost herself in loving him, and yet, he did nothing but break her more. Every time he gazes into her lifeless eyes, he couldn't help but ask him, 'Am I the reason for this,'. But who was he kidding, he knew that. Despite all the shit, he has thrown her way, she still loves him with everything in her. How can someone love someone to this extinct? A smile grazers his lips, only his Ava can do this. This woman never fails to make his heart go crazy. The moonlight ricocheted from the window and rained on Ava. Xavier couldn't help but be awed by her beauty. She was glowing like a fairy in the moonlight. Xavier'
Shout-out to: Krystal Long Weber, thank you sweetheart for rewarding my story with Gems. Means a lot to me. Keep loving and supporting. ---------------AUTHOR'S POV:11: 45 PM AvaIt was nearly midnight, but the people gathered were not even near to being depleted. They were conversing with each other and drinking happily. Some retire to their rooms as their wolves fight for dominance to let out. It was hard for them to control their inner animal, and being the full moon, they couldn't help it, They wanted to snuggle with their mates all the time. Ava has heard that on this night, the wolves become inseparable from their mates. And they go ballistic if someone tries to take their mate away from them. It still amazes her how the Alpha are controlling their wolves and enjoying their times here. Guess, it's because of being with their mates because all the males are practically sitting on top of their mates. Some are even sniffling their mates while cuddling on sofas. She doesn't unders
Shout-out to: Kryk Yap, thank you sweetheart for your Gem. Means a load to me. Keep loving and supporting. ------------------AUTHOR'S POV:“I missed you, Xavier,” Jessica whispered into his neck. Xavier stood stringent, his hands tightly fisted on his sides. He didn't reciprocate the hug. Staring straight at space. The touch that once gives him weird feelings now felt like wolfsbane. “I missed you so much,” Jessica whispered again while closing her eyes. She basked in the feeling of touching him again. She knows how much she has longed for this. She rubbed his back slowly and rubbed her chin on his clothed chest, just like old times. Furthermore, she took a deep breath, taking more of his manly, intoxicating scent that always drives her crazy. His smoke and tobacco scent always rules over her senses. Xavier stood still, not returning her affection. Not feeling his arms around her, Jessica opened her eyes. It's the first time, Xavier didn't reciprocate her touch. He always hugs h
Shout-out to: Carolyn Fleet and, Rales Wise. A long chapter for your dearies. I try to make the chapter short so that the price would be reasonable for you guys. Sorry, I don't have any say in the price nor is it decided by me. I would try to make the chapter longer from now on. -------------------AUTHOR'S POV:After the extravagant feast, all the geriatric call it a night and relapse to their rooms. The young couples hung around in the living room and chilled together. The Alpha's talking about pack treaties, while Luna's talking about the latest fashion. The Omegas served them drinks and sweets. Everyone was always occupied with their pack commitments so, it felt good to be burden-free even for a while. And tonight being the full moon, they can't risk anything, so, they all accepted the Alpha's offer of staying in the pack house. Alpha Xavier has gone to check the patrolling. As all the Alphas are staying here, they can't take a risk. And the situation with the rogues is going cr
Shout-out to: nightlady_smile, thank you sweetie for rewarding my story with a Gem. Means aload to me. Keep loving and supporting. -------------AUTHOR'S POV:Ava's eyes went wide at his blunt words. Rosiness crept on her cheeks. Her heart started jackhammering. Xavier smirked at her, his eyes shimmering with amusement. He can feel her trepidation. His fingertips can taste the standing strands on her skin. It's entertaining to watch her oscillation from an innocent kitten to a cheeky sassy girl. Smirking internally, Ava smiled sweetly and softly rubbed her hand over his broad chest. Xavier froze under her touch. His body shuddered. Zion purred at Ava's touch and wiggled his tail like a love-sick puppy. Xavier narrowed his eyes at her in suspicion but he was paralyzed under her touch. The people around him were long forgotten. Jessica's hands turned into fists. She was glaring daggers at Ava's hands on Xavier's chest. If looks can burn, Ava's hands would have been molten. "You want

Keep loving and supporting. -----------------AUTHOR'S POV:After coming out of the washroom, Ava halted in her track as her stare ceased on the bed. She stopped wiping her face and moved towards the bed. A gorgeous brown silk off-the-shoulder gown was laying on the bed. Ava hunkered down her forehead in puzzlement. Tossing the towel on the bed, Ava took the dress and caressed it. The dress felt so smooth under her delicate hands. The dress was nothing extraordinary, instead it was simple and elegant. Just the way Ava has a preference. A small note was placed on the pillow. Placing the dress back, Ava rounded the bed and took the letter. Wear me ;)Was written with classiness and perfection. Ava recognized the handwriting of Xavier. How can she not? When she has taken all bus tests from school until high school and kept them unassailable. Xavier didn't know that the paper he is throw
