Aurora’s POV

I gradually emerged from sleep, my senses sharpened, and I became acutely aware of the emptiness beside me. The sheets still held the lingering warmth of Alpha Caden's body, but his presence was conspicuously absent.

Sitting up, I let out a quiet yawn, my muscles protesting with a pleasant soreness, a testament to the passionate night we had shared. A night that is playing distinctively in my mind making me feel all sorts of fuzzy.

Gazing around the room, I took in the familiar surroundings of Alpha Caden's bedroom. The sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting soft rays of golden light across the room, illuminating the space with a tranquil glow.

Yet, despite the serenity of the morning, an inexplicable tension lingered in the air, a palpable reminder of the complexities of our relationship. I shouldn’t be feeling this knotless anger that he left the bed before I woke up but it’s there and I hated it.
