Cassandra POV
I chose short pants and a beige t-shirt for today. I make my hair in a messy bun. I moved to the kitchen looking for food as my stomach was growling. I just remember that I didn't have my dinner last night and I fell asleep on the couch while reading in his study room.
I saw him in the kitchen preparing something.
Carlos POV"I will be sitting here?" She asked, pointing at the empty desk across mine."Yes, this is your place. You don't like it? You want your own room?" I asked, being concern about her needs.
After seven monthsCarlos POV"Cupcake, what's wrong with you? Why don't you come down for dinner?" I moved closer to her which was lying on her bed. She curled herself on the bed while her hand pressing on her stomach.
Carlos POVAs expected, it wasn't easy to get the chocolate cupcake and ice-cream at this hour. It took us a while to search for the coffee shop that opens 24 hours."Happy?" I asked her once I entered the car and passed her the paper bag in my hand.
Cassandra POV"Cupcake, you should stop eating that." I heard him shouted again. He repeated it for the second time but I ignored him and continue shoving the ice-cream into my mouth.I was sitting in the living room enjoying my ice-cream while he was busy in the kitchen doing some cleaning after our late dinner at five in the morning. I wanted to help but he refus
Carlos POVFor the last three days, I purposely asked Cupcake to stay at home giving her a chance to rest due to her condition. She doesn't have the pain anymore but I want her to have enough rest. She always waits for me to return from work with dinner ready. I can't describe the feeling but it was somehow what I anticipated every time leaving the office."Cupcake
Cassandra POVI was having my panic attack when my surrounding suddenly turned dark. This is the thing that I hate the most. I don't like darkness as it made me scared. I quickly sat on the floor, crawling to the corner. I hugged my legs tight and tried to on my phone so that I could ask for help."Carlos, Carlos, I need to call Carlos," I mumbled while trying to t
Cassandra POVCarlos went out in the morning to attend some meetings. He didn't ask me to come along, so I just stay in the office room doing my writing like what I usually did. I don't know why he hired me, he just wants me to tag along to work and the only routine that I'm doing is making his coffee. So, I'm basically his coffee girl. How funny is that?I'm going
Cassandra POV"Cupcake, are you okay if you are going back alone tonight?" I saw his concern. We started to talk after the flirtatious incident in the lift, but we never mentioned that again."Where are you going?" He never asked me to go home alone and I found it odd.
Cassandra POV"Yes."That one simple word from him almost crashed my world. Tears started to brim in my eyes. I can't look into his eyes, so I stare blankly on the grass underneath my feet. I chanted quietly in my head to warn myself not to drop single tears in front of him.
One year laterCarlos POV"Carlos, this is not the way to your home," she noticed that I drove the car to a different path.
Cassandra POVMy mind kept thinking about all my activities with Carlos for the last few weeks. I really saw his effort to make me forget my awful past. Just as he promised, he wanted to create many memories with me and turn my scary thought about the darkness into something beautiful.I was brought back to reality with a quick peck on my lips. I looked at him with
Carlos POV"Come in," I opened the bedroom door and gestured her to enter."You don't have to work tonight?" She asked while entering the room and headed to the bed."Why shoul
Cassandra POV"Cupcake," I heard him whispered the familiar nickname from behind but I refused to entertain him. I'm sure he will talk about the same issue again while I will remain with the same decision. No one can change my decision about it. I don't think I need any help. His hands snaked around my waist from behind while he rested his chin on my shoulder. If w
Cassandra POV"Carlos Gonzales, come back here." I raised my voice and begged him. He ignored me and closed the door behind making me gasped with his action. It was a joke but he took it seriously. I forget that I have one grumpy boyfriend with zero sense of humor.
Carlos POV"You should go back home. At least take a quick shower, we will take care of her.""We will call you immediately in case she wakes up.""You need to take care of you
Carlos POV"Carlos, there is a signal from Cassandra." Tristan's voice immediately sends some hope to me. I ran towards him turning my eyes on the screen that he kept monitor with two of his people. "See the red dot, that's the signal from her. She is somewhere around there," he pointed to the red dote that beeping on the map. I noticed the others were standing near us too, looking in the same direction.
Cassandra POVSince Carlos attended the seminar with his beloved secretary during the weekend, I choose to spend time with Scarlet in order to forget about my argument with Carlos this morning. I don't know what happen to him, but he seems to keep defending his secretary as if I was being paranoid."Why are you so angry, babe?"
