"Hold on," Rafaella said as her eyes narrowed at her husband. "What are you thinking?"

"There was no evidence, but it's how my father died," Alexus stated. "I didn't tell the investigator but saw everything that happened that night. I hid like a coward when I saw his gun as panic surged in my chest. I hid in the corner of the living room. The assassin bore enough battle as he launched himself at the guards.
