I disliked what Elijah was doing, and most of all, I disliked the fact that I was now being forced to talk to him about something that he had no business knowing about. I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me whole, even though what had happened was not nearly as bad as it could have been. The thing that was making me feel the way that I was feeling, was the fact that I didn't think that it was right to talk to someone who thought that they were my mate, about the fact that there was someone else who thought the exact same thing.
