In the next few minutes, she came back with the doctor, who check her heart stability.

"Her heart is breathing differently now and I assure you she will be..." The doctor was still saying when Arlington's eyes slowly open.

Is this for real or I'm hallucinating? Don't blame me because this feels too good to be true. Her pupils aren't visible at first since her eyes are rolled into their socket.

The doctor disconnected the machine from her nostrils when she was sure every this was perfectly fine with Arlington.

"Hardie...?" That was her first word and I couldn't tell how happy and excited I felt at the moment.

She slowly sit up as I did not hesitate to help her keep her balance. Her face was still pale and almost near white but it was full of life.

"I can't believe my eyes right now, I feel like they are playing dirty tricks on me." I muttered as I touched I face to feel them.

"They aren't Hardie. I'm okay now." Her voice was croaked but it was audible
