04: A slap

Dunn opened her eyes slowly but a banging headache sent her back.

“Ouch,” She mouthed, rubbing her temples to relieve herself of the headache.

“ I need water” She mouthed and shifted to the bed edge. She noticed how moderate the bed's softness was, not unlike her hard bed at home.

The bed was too big and comfy to be her own. What surprised her the most was the figure sitting on the chair beside the bed stand.

“Omg!” She screamed jumping down from the bed. Mason raised his eyebrows gently and frowned. He doesn't know why she was shouting when she was the one who entered his room last night drunk.

Dunn looked down to see whether she was still in her dress but was more stunned to see herself in another dress. She didn't bother asking what happened or exercising patience, Her next action was so uncalled for.

“My virginity!! ” She screamed and walked over to Mason, Mason was still wondering why she was coming to him till a resounding slap landed on his cheeks.

“You damned rapist! Even if I enter your room drunk, Does that gives you the audacity to rape me!! ” She screamed, kicking him in his groin.

Mason couldn't process what was happening as he looked at her amazed by her actions, He knows what happened yesterday and there is nothing like rape there.

“I didn't... Dunn didn't let him finish his statement.

“I hate you” She screamed and rushed out of the room not after kicking him, She didn't bother picking up her phone or bag.

“What just happened? ” He still did not believe how fast the display was.

“Boss” Two of his bodyguards rushed in after seeing the race Dunn took out of the room.

They were surprised to meet Mason on the ground with his hand holding his groin. They were about to go out and chase after Dunn but Mason stopped them.

“ Don't go after her, I know what to do” He smirked and stood up from the ground withstanding the pain from the kick.

Immediately he stood up, He sighted a female bag with a phone beside it on the table not too far from the toilet entrance, He smirked knowing that it was for the lady that kicked him earlier.

He doesn't know why but he felt happy as he picked up both the phone and the bag.

“ I'm not going to the office today, I have to see Mr Charles” He mouthed coldly and walked out of the room.

Mr Charles is one of the shareholders of his father's entertainment industry. He plays a crucial role in helping Mason look over the industry since he's busy with his own company, Ooks Group of Companies.

Dunn got home, She walked to her door and wanted to open it when she realized that her bag and phone. She screamed at her stupidity and rested on the door frustrated.

Laura who was inside heard a little hit on the door making her stand up and walk towards the door to open it.

“Ouch,” Dunn winced slightly as she hit her ass on the ground.

“Why are just coming home?, Did you get fucked yesterday night and slept off tired” Laura mocked, looking at her pathetic jobless friend.

“What are you doing in my house?” Dunn mouthed standing up from the ground and sat on the couch beside where Laura was sitting.

“I came here last night to check up on you but I found the door locked. I called you several times and you didn't pick up and it got late when I was waiting for you to come. I opened the door and came in to sleep”

“ That's not even the issue, Who got you tied down that you couldn't come home last night?” Laura Mouthed, Prepared to hear the gist.

“ I did a fucking mistake yesterday, I fucked up seriously” Dunn slapped herself, remembering what happened yesterday.

Laura looked at her and laughed mockingly, “What happened is all I want to hear? ”.

“I went to Montana clubhouse yesterday” At the mention of Montana clubhouse, Laura knew that something huge happened.

Montana clubhouse is the biggest and most expensive clubhouse in the whole of New York. The regular area is for public figures like Actors, Actresses, Models, Influencers, and so on while the VIP area is for billionaires. We say billionaires like Politicians and musicians, Company owners and so on. The cheapest drinks alone cost a level 7 civil servant monthly wage.

So Dunn going to the Montana clubhouse alone is a problem. Maybe she paid for the drinks with her leaving payment and some of her other savings.

“I made a huge mistake by slapping someone, I thought he raped me because of the change of cloth and the position I met myself on his bed but now that I remembered everything that happened last night, I knew I'm in trouble” Dunn lamented, She scolded herself for getting so drunk that made her misbehave.

“ You are not in trouble, You don't even know the man and I'm sure you won't see him again so I don't think you have a problem” Laura chuckled softly.

“ I left my phone and my bag in his room,” Dunn mouthed. She knew that she was already in big trouble because someone who could have a room in the Montana clubhouse was not an ordinary VIP.

“ Today's trouble is worse than yesterday's trouble, I pity you” Laura Mouthed with a mixture of mocking and pitiful tone.

The sound of the bell distracted them. “Did you order anything? ” Dunn squinted her eyes looking at Laura.

“ No, I didn't,” Laura replied, looking confused and curious at the same time.

“Who is there? ” Both girls chorused but no answer.

Dunn came down from the chair and opened the door swiftly only to meet her bag and phone on the ground.

“Ahhh” She screamed in shock, Her scream made Laura move closer and saw the bag and phone also.

“Why did you shout? Is this not the bag you were talking about” Laura uttered, She wondered why Dunn screamed. She picked the bag and phone up and then closed the door.

“How did he know my address? ”Dunn panicked, She roamed around the room not wanting to think negatively.

Laura also was curious how but she also didn't want her friend to be more bothered which made her find something to say.

“He may have searched for your house location with his phone as far as he has your phone with him, He may get it and you don't even know whether he is a tech guy,” Laura said, Dunn reasoned with her also..

“You might be telling the truth” She mouthed and collected her phone forcefully from Laura before remembering the offense she committed yesterday.

“ How is Nancy doing?, I hope blood didn't get to her brain though” Dunn hissed and continued operating her phone.

“She died yesterday night, It was due to excessive bleeding” Laura dropped the bombshell.
