It's the first day of new school, first day of new life. Whatever it will be, Miles was determined to live it full. He will live through all of the moments that once he only saw in tv and newspapers.

He is a high school student now.

Miles made way to his department. He took arts. So, the classes schedule will be shared with them after today's orientation.

A new beginning indeed.

He was lost as it was first time and wanted somebody to guide him. He has walked past the reception and don't even know the way around to go back and look for the department map.

He breathed in and out to calm himself. Stress isn't good for him, and he can't handle stress well anyway. He took a step forward hoping he will find some help.

He read in the article published on school's website that students in this school are emphatic and kind. Helping others was in the goals of the school. This policy of the school was also one of the reasons why Miles chose this school.

He was confident to find some help. It just takes to ask someone, and Miles least can do that.

As he took a turn, he saw an old lady not too old but not too young either passing by the hallway. That's his catch. He can ask her. Miles took a hurried step towards her.

But before he can ask her his eyes landed on the small pound of water splashed on the floor, that was a bit invisible to the human eye but due to the bright sun light Miles was able to see that.

The old lady was just a step away and Miles panicked thinking she might slip and fall to the ground. Considering her age, the damage can be severe.

"Ma'am!" Miles called but seems like she couldn't hear him properly as she didn't turn. Miles ran and held her hand pulling her back with a bit of the force.

Yelp made way out of an old lady's mouth. She looked at Miles with slight anger.

"I'm sorry ma'am, I tried to call you, but you didn't listen." Miles helped her stand correctly on her own feet. "There was water on the floor, you could have slipped and fallen down here."

The old lady looked at the floor adjusting her glasses and smiled. "Oh, thank you young man. You saved my life. How can I thank you for that." She gave his hand a kiss making Miles smile wholeheartedly.

The simple gesture was so pure and heart-warming for Miles. People in this school are actually good.

"Are you new student? I haven't seen you here before." She asked looking at him from head to toe.

"Yes, it's my first day. I-I'm lost I g-guess. I don't know the directions well. If you can help me, find the hall where orientation is being held. I'm late I guess." He said looking at his watch. It was 7:35 am.

"Oh dear, you are so pretty. Worry don't look good on your pretty face." She cupped his cheeks. "You are just on time. The orientation will start at 8:30 and the hall is just, straight and take the right turn. The first hall is for orientation. You'll find the organizers there." She replied.

"Straight, and right?" Miles confirmed.

"Yes. Do you want me to come with you?" She asked looking at Miles. He looks a bit nervous.

"No no it's okay. I've my friend here, I'll just call him. He said he had practice so I just walked alone and got lost." Miles chuckled awkwardly.

"It's okay. You'll find your way. Best of luck for your new session." She gave him another kiss and left.

Miles was standing there smiling. The lady just reminded him of his own grandmother. He loved her.

                             ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lucas has been sitting in the basketball court. His eyes fixed on the paper in hand and lips moulded into a smile.
"Ah, poor boy." Lucas smirked looking at the paper. He is sure he made a good impression on the boy.
"You are early!" There was a mock in the voice.
"So are you." Lucas replied pushing the paper into his pocket.
"My fucking brother was over my ass again. He had a test today." The small boy sat down. "Fucker didn't let me sleep."
"He isn't your real brother though." Lucas mocked.
"Yeah, he is a fucking burden over my shoulders." The shorter male rolled his eyes.
"Mou." Lucas called. Getting a hmmm in response from the shorter male.
"What would you do if you are angry with your brother?" Lucas asked having a certain someone in his mind.
"I'll make that fucker suffer." Moura replied. He actually hates his brother.
The reason is his mother. She married to another man after his father died and now, he has a step brother who is a pain in his ass. He troubles him and irritates him to his bones.
"That's what I'm thinking." Lucas couldn't hide a smirk off his face.
"What?" Moura asked.
"Nothing." Lucas replied.
"I saw Zoie on my way here." Moura said. "She was finding someone."
"She can go fuck herself for all I care." Lucas replied getting irritated at her name.
"What was that? Where did your love go?" Moura arched his brow.
"She ditched me. She was in a relationship with Michael as well. Fucking Michael Lee bastard." Lucas stood up in rage. Making the older male to look up at him.
"What happened to your face?" Moura couldn't help but ask. Never in his time with Lucas had happened that Lucas let anyone touch his face and the blue bruise made him curious to know about it.
"Nothing. I'm off training today. If Willie come tell him to meet me in cafe." He took his bag and was about to leave.
"What the fuck is your problem. You hardly take training. We are going to have a match in few months with other schools, Lucas. I'm your trainer here, I'm responsible for the team." Moura said holding his arm to hold him in place.
"You and the fucking team knows I won't let anyone down. I'm the best player you got. Your reputation won't get affected. Train others well, specially that nerd Mason, he couldn't even pass properly and teach Edward the perfect front shot, he is a best front-liner we have." Lucas replied with a wink and left the basketball court leaving the coach standing there dumbfounded.
"I'll kill him one day. His bratty attitude gets on my nerve." Moura huffed making way to his cabin.
Lucas went straight to his class; he only has one class today. He'll be free by 12 but he doesn't want to go home so early, and the only reason is Miles with him.
He wants the poor guy to suffer so whatever mean can be.
The day went by rather quickly. Miles was free as he thought. He was free by 11. Miles was confused on what to do. He finds it hard to look around and talk to anyone.
Almost everyone was busy with each other. He was confused how come they just met today and became friends already. It took him good one month to get to even talk to Christopher.
The struggle is real.
"Excuse me." He finally mastered the courage and looked around seeing one of the staff members behind the discussion desk.
"Yes?" The teacher replied.
"Good morning, sir. C-can you please....please tell me the way to library?" Miles gathered the courage.
"Go straight to the reception and take left. The first stairs will take you directly to the library." The teacher told him. Miles thanked him and went straight to the library. He now knows the way to reception and from there it was easy.
He didn't know what he will do, he doesn't have anything to do here, it's his first day. He wanted to go back, but there were two problems. First, if he went on his own it will cost him a lot of money. Bus ticket isn't that cheap and going with Lucas saves him money. Second, Lucas said he will wait for him. He just doesn’t want Lucas to keep waiting for him. After all it was his good deed that he gave him the lift so Miles decided that from tomorrow he will go on his own. His schedule might be different from Lucas, so he doesn’t want to trouble the poor guy. He will take his expenses.
His time in the library went quite fast. He has always been a sucker for books, so he doesn’t know how quickly time passed. He only got to know that it's evening when he got message on his phone.
 Meet me at the gate, right where I left you.
LV.
Seen 6:03
 Okay.
         Seen 6:03.
He
hurriedly took his bag and ran outside. He now knows one thing that Lucas is a short-tempered guy and he doesn't want to make him angry do he ran.
It was getting slightly dark outside. He ran outside and looked around to spot the familiar car. Just then he had another massage.
 Look straight dumbass.  Be quick.
Seen 6:10.
He looked straight and saw black car standing there but it wasn't the same as the one he came in the morning. He could least care about that.
He just ran straight to the door and opened it. Hopping inside, the first thing he did was apologize for being late and for making Lucas wait for him.
Only if he knew what was about to happen to him.
The car started and he didn't get reply for his apology. He thought maybe Lucas is angry with him and he don't want to press wrong buttons.
"Aren't you the gorgeous yet stupid person." A bit heavy voice made him hitch his breath. "Well, whatever it was, you made it easy for me."
"L-Lu-Lucas....w-what happened to your voice?" Miles asked. Worry lancing every inch of his body.
"You poor little thing. You are way too innocent aren't you." The boy mocked. Turning to Miles. "Do I look like Lucas?"
Miles saw the boy’s face and his blood run cold. It wasn't Lucas. But Lucas texted him. He asked him to come outside. Where is Lucas? What is this boy doing here? What do he want?"
"W-who are you?" Miles tried not to shutter. His voice getting heavy due to the lump forming in his throat. His eyes showing the welled-up tears.
"A friend of a friend you can say!" The boy replied with a smirk and pulled up the glass. Miles tried to shout but the other boy's voice halted his movement.
"Scream or shout, and I'll make sure to cut your throat open." A shrill voice of metal made Miles look at him. He saw a sharp-edged pocketknife in his hand. Miles tried but tears made way out of his eyes.
"Please." He weakly said. He doesn’t know at this point what is he begging for. His trembling figure made another laugh at him.
"Stay still and you won't get hurt. I'll be back, don't you dare step out of the car. Understood?" The boy stopped the car a little far from school. He pointed the knife at Miles's Adam’s apple and glared at him. Miles could only nod on the command. Right now, he has nothing else to do.
The boy went out and didn't lock the car. How dumb of him. Miles first tried to do as asked but then he thought of mastering up the courage and open the car door.
He looked outside and saw the boy standing inside the tuck shop of the gas station. That was his cue to run for his life. He did.
He hopped outside and ran, turned to look at the boy and his heartbeat fastened looking at the boy watching him running.
He heard his name getting called but he didn't want to see the one shouting his name. If not, then he will die running but will not get down without a fight.
"Why is this happening?" Miles wiped his tears. Now that he remembers, he doesn't have Lucas's number. He never took it. How can he trust anyone. There was no clear reference on the message. It could be anyone. Just if he would've been this smart a bot earlier than maybe this situation wouldn't have happened.
"Stop right there or else I'll shoot you." Miles heard the final warning. His feet didn't stop though. He was determined to save himself. He isn't going to die, not on his first day of new life.
"Help me.....somebody help." Miles tried to yell but it came a little muffled because of his crying. He can still hear his name call.
"Stop I'm asking you last time." This time Miles heard a fire. It scared him. His knees buckled and he stumbled, falling to the ground. He pushed his body hurriedly to stand back and find a good place for hiding. He won't last if he kept on running like this.
He was already having trouble breathing and his heart was beating way too fast.
He found a dark alley; he looked behind seeing no one was following him. He was relieved and he took one second to hide in there. He can see the familiar neighbourhood. He isn't that far from Christopher's apartment.
He peeked out to see no one was there and tan outside to the familiar building. Instead of stairs he took elevator and prayed that no one come inside.
But fate wasn't on his side as just the door was about to close, it was open by a hand in between. Miles unconsciously stepped back holding the steel pipe tightly.
"Are you deaf or just simply stupid." He heard the most angry and frustrated voice of Lucas. Lucas was huffing. It took him a minute to restore his breathing. Miles kept looking at him. He was sweating way too much and his cherry red hairs sticking to his forehead and neck because of the sweat.
As soon as Lucas's breath became normal, he glared at the blonde boy and held him by his shoulder, smacking him to the wall.
"Why the fuck was you out when I clearly said I'll call you." Lucas yelled at him. Miles hissed due to the tight grip and flinched badly on the yelling.
"Answer me." He jolted blonde's body again making blonde's eyes fill with tears. He felt Miles's body was a bit too cold and he was breathing heavily.
"I-I received the text......i-i though i-t wa-s you." Miles replied trying to free his shoulders. His body felt like collapsing.
"Whoever will text you will be me? Did you have my number?" Lucas yelled again.
"N-No."
"Then use this thing." He poked at the side of his head. "I said clearly I'll call you. You already are enough pain in my ass, stop troubling others. Be responsible, you ain't a baby." Lucas gave a last push to his body making Miles lose balance and drop to the floor.
"Fucking weakling." Twice in one day. Lucas called him that twice but this time he agreed to it. He really is weakling.
The elevator stopped and Lucas corrected his shirt making his way out of the elevator. Miles felt his surroundings rotating. He used his hand on the wall for a support to stand straight and walk out of it.
"Get in there and stay inside until Chris comes back. After that do whatever you want." Lucas snapped at him, pulling him by his arm and almost throwing him inside the apartment.
Miles lost his balance and dropped to the ground due to the push. A yelp made its way out of his mouth. He felt his lungs burning due to the lack of air, he was finding it hard to breath properly and his chest hurts with every beat.
He tried to sit and looked around for his bag. He needs his inhaler to proper his breath. Black spots already started dancing in his view. He felt like dying.
He was strictly prohibited to run fast, to do excessive tiring exercise and anything that needs his body to push too much. He was sweating way too much. His left arm felt like it was pulled out of its socket.
He found himself dropping to the ground. On his two hands and limp body he dragged himself to the room. There he might find anything to help himself a bit. He was successful to inside the room, but he didn't have the courage to look around. He was on the verge of dying.
What nobody knew was that Miles was the patient of sever heart problem. And this event didn't suit the situation well. His condition worsened.
As soon as Lucas pushed Miles inside and closed the door a broad smirk made way on his face.
"That was perfect Willie." Lucas did a high-five with a boy slightly elder than him.
"I feel bad Luke, he looked soo innocent." Willie replied.
"We have the saint Willie here again. Did you forget Robin? He was also innocent." Lucas knew well how to get others to do his work.
"Don't you dare speak a word." Willie kicked him from behind.
"But seriously he was freaked to death. Oh God how satisfying is that. Now I feel like a little verrrrryyyyy little burden is taken. But it still remains." He smirked. "Today was a good day."
"I'll be going now. Here’s his bag." Willie handed him Miles's bag and left. Lucas threw Miles's bag over his shoulder and went to his apartment 8599, at the end of the corridor.
"Good luck, boy." Lucas whispered looking at Christopher's apartment and went inside his own closing the door.
    Lucas sat down, throwing the bag on the floor in the corner. He got comfortable at the square shaped heighten leather cushion. Something dropped out of Miles's bag making a small noise causing Lucas to lazily see. Lucas had and amusing chuckle escaping his mouth when his eyes landed on the object. "Well well isn't he a total loser. Needs an artificial air to breath." Lucas picked the inhaler and looked at it fully. Lucas threw the inhaler in the dustbin instead of putting it in the bag. He picked his bag making way to the same cushion. "Let's see what he got." Lucas whispered getting comfortable on the couch. He pushed his hand inside. The first thing that came out was the glasses case, he threw it on the ground. The second was poor boys’ wallet. He opened it. It was full of money, not very much but still much for a school student. Lucas raised an eyebrow getting amused on how much the boy had in his pocket. "He must be really billionaire". Little did he know. "But he is still s
    Christopher just got free. It was currently 11:30. "Bye Christopher." One of the employees said as they both left the building together."Bye Alicia. Be careful while walking home." Christopher said out of curtsy. He is a gentle man. "You too." The girl replied when they both parted going opposite directions. Christopher took his phone out calling Miles. It just kept on ringing, but no one was picking up. He was worried, Miles never missed a call, but he was a bit relieved understanding it was so late. He is asleep by now. Christopher cut the call and called Lucas. He knew younger will be awake. He sleeps really late. And just as he thought the call was picked on the third bell. "Hello." Lucas said uninterestingly. "Lucci." Christopher said. "Ofcourse you called me so I'll speak dumbass." Lucas scoffed. "Where is Miles?" The name alone infuriated Lucas."He actually should be at museum for his weird personality but he is in your apartment." Lucas laughed. "Find a lock for you
    "Everyone, eyes on the target and just keep passing the ball." Moura yelled. The while basketball court is filled with boys practicing."Luca, move fast." Moura yelled. Lucas was relatively slow as compared to other days. The truth is he couldn't sleep properly last night. "Why are we even practicing?" He groaned in annoyance. He looked around to everyone and saw all of them were genuinely practicing. "Because we fucking got a match with other schools. Now get your ass concentrate on the field." Moura yelled followed by the whistle making everyone alert. "Mr. Black." A young boy called as soon as he entered the basketball ground. The called male turned watching the very familiar boy standing at the entrance of the room. "Yes." "I apologize for disturbing you in between the practice but Mr. Lee is calling for Lucas." The boy said very politely. "Why do you have to apologize for that." Moura smiled at the boy turning back to the players playing. "Lucas." He yelled. The boys didn
    The day went by well and it went rather quickly. After that gym registration, Miles had 3 classes whereas Lucas was free. He had to attend the sports head meeting. It was 5:30 right now and just like yesterday Miles was in the library, looking at his phone for a call or message from the red-head boy. This time was different because he actually has his number this time. Soon his screen lit up reaching a screaming ringtone that echoed in the library's "academic book" section. Miles was quick to take his phone out of his pocket. "Hel...." "Be at gate in 2 minutes. 1 second late and I'll leave you there." Before Miles could even reply Lucas cut the call. Miles didn't waste even a second and took his bag, left the book on the table, and ran downstairs. He was lucky that he was there on time and just when he reached there Lucas's car arrived. Miles was huffing as because he came running and the slightly sharp sparks of pain dancing out of his chest were getting bigger and bigger. "Ge
    The next morning Miles woke up to the sweet smell of toast and egg being cooked. Small knock on his door made him open his eyes slightly. "Up up now baby bear." Christopher said hugging his friend. Miles couldn't help but smile at Christopher's warm gesture. "Why are you up so early? Didn't you have a holiday today?" Miles asked. "I did. I wanted to cook you a breakfast, so I woke up early. Hurry up. Come on." Christopher replied pulling Miles up from the bed. "But you didn't have to. You should've have slept for late...""Shhh. Go and brush. I'll set the table." Christopher cut his sentence. "Is L-Luc.....""Nope. Today's breakfast is for us only. He isn't invited. Go now." Christopher replied him making Miles breathe in relief. "Okay." Miles felt himself feeling happy. First, he didn't forget the last night's nightmare and second today is going to be a nightmare. Christopher was out in the living room setting the table. The truth is he couldn't sleep properly last night, thin
    Miles made way to his room, changing into his sports uniform that was provided to them by the school and came out only to find Lucas sitting on the couch, glass of milk in his hand and Christopher lying down lazily on the other couch. "Thank God." Lucas huffed, standing up. "Let's go." Christopher opens his eyes, stood up as he bid them goodbye and hugged Miles. "Remember what I told you okay. Don't worry about anything." Miles nodded and hugged Christopher back before running toward the elevator where Lucas was waiting for him. Lucas saw how both best friends held each other in their arms. Not to get jealous, as he knew Christopher has always been there for him right after when he thought his life was finished and he was left all alone. But this relationship between both friends feels so precious. The way Christopher got so worried just by seeing Mile’s crying. Lucas always wanted this.     Miles was thankful that he didn't collapse or else he doesn’t know what Lucas would've done. Lucas was standing like a hawk on these 5 students who were doing their best to not mess up during exercise. "5 push ups" he announced. One of student made an annoyed huffing sound hearing the announcement."Atlas." Lucas called making the student stand straight in front of him. "Y-yes sir." "You got a problem?" "N-No sir." The boy shook his head. "I heard you complain about exercise!" "N-No sir. I'm perfectly fine with it." Atlas lied. "Alright then, 10 push ups for you and the rest of you will do 5. Hurry up." He announced marking each of students’ progress. Miles didn't say another word and positioned himself for the said exercise. Lucas did show him the demo, so they know how to do it, but it was hard. Everyone did 3 push-ups easily but then they were finding it hard to do it."That's good at least 3 is a good progress. I'm glad you guys know how to push your limits. Finish the r
Lucas smirked and walked toward the parking where his car was parked. "You are being unkind to him." "Willie shut up." Lucas rolled his eyes as they all got into the car. He stopped the car in front of the gate so that Miles can come. "Moura, tell your boyfriend to keep his mouth shut. If he said one more word to Miles, I won't hesitate to rip him apart." Lucas saw Moura from the rare view and spoke. "He won't say anything. Willie shut up now." Moura said monotonously and closed his eyes to get some sleep. Lucas was on his phone, typing something and Moura was fast asleep when Willie saw Miles running toward the car with brightest smile on his face. He genuinely feels sorry for a pure soul like him to get in trouble with Lucas.Lucas almost threw the phone into his lap as soon as he heard the car door open. "Alright guys here we go." She soflty gazed her hand over Lucas's hair and smiled when Lucas's face broke into warm smile. "I'm Good." He replied. He saw his therapist giving him another warm smile in return. He likes it, the way she smiles, how she always smiles and never once gets irritated by him or shows an expression. "Three words again, that's a progress." She stretched her hand up for a high-five. Lucas took some time but then clapped it. "You?" Lucas asked. He saw the lady stopped turning pages and looked at him. He felt like he stepped a line or something. He lowered his eyes back to his lap. "Im good, great actually, happy." She smiled. "And you know why?" She asked. Lucas looked up, kept watching her and then darted his eyes off.     Moura never left Lucas's side. He sat beside the bed where Lucas was sleeping. His hand in his hair, slowly moving in smooth circles, trying to calm down Lucas. "What's happening to you?" He saw Lucas felt uncomfortable for a bit so he stretched his hand back a little. His gaze however never left the males face. But now i do..... more than you think. Your reason was all emotional but it was senseless and absurd." "I'm sorry." Lucas circled an arm around his own body. His shaking body started to feel numb. He had so much to talk to Christopher, but one glance at his pale sick face made everything worse. Christopher hate him......he said he never wanted to.....but he hate him now. Lucas expected a mock from Willie, a hand on his shoulder from Moura but nothing came. He dared to lift his head and look around, it isn't his cell, it's not the same cell where he was taken last time. This room is small, and doesn't even have a window, or a bed......there's nothing. It's an isolation cell. This made Lucas panic, he felt his heart beating so fast and his breathing was heavy as well. Too many memories got triggered. "Keep it down,
Not even close to get back his consciousness. Doctor said, they'd have to keep him under observation for one more day." Cal replied settling beside James and bending forward to give him the medicines. "I don't get it. Why is all this—- i never wanted to come here, they went and—— I don't know what to even think." James huffed not actually knowing what should he do. "The first trial is in two days. Before that, Christopher was supposed to visit the jail, Lucas-ssi appealed to meet him before the court trial." Cal told him. "All of them are together. Millie will never get the Justice at their hands." James whispered slowly. "It's not what it look like.
These next words of Zoye pulled him out of his shock and initiated a state of panic in him. Everybody knows, everyone know......Christopher, James, every student.....all of them know now. He turned back to see Moura was as panicked as he was and he was as still as he was. His reputation was also at risk, the coach, the faculty of the school bullying students.......too bad.     The car ride to the school was silent. No one said anything. Christopher was driving with James on the passenger seat, and Cal, Lucas, and Alicia in the back.
