Chapter 5

WHERE are you lot coming from?

The teacher who I later found out her name was Mrs Declan asked.

From the clinic, ma. A very hot guy answered.

Huba huba who's this British guy?! I smiled mischeviously.

And you?! What happened to you?

Mrs Declan directed her question at Adrian.

Well, it was all caused by a wriggling worm

Did he just call me a wriggling worm?!

Wait, you mean to say a worm did this to you. Mrs Declan said obviously taking it literally.

That's why you are the maths teacher not English cause you obviously suck at it..

Yes, ma. But don't worry, I got plans for it already. It will regret meeting me in the first place.

Ohhhhhh, bring it on hotshot. You are so on.

Alright if you say so. You may seat down and don't bother writing if it's inconvenient for you.

Mrs Declan said turning back to the board.

Uh hello? He doesn't have a broken arm or broken anything yet he's getting this special treatment. Are you blind or just loco in the head.

Adrian sniggered next to me and I turned to face him in shock. Can he hear my thoughts or something.

Adrian didn't even spare me a glance as he focused on what the teacher was writing.

After giving him a suspicious look, I faced my front and also jotted down the equation displayed on the board.

Life would be so easier without maths. I mean who invented math. If you wanted to torture someone back there, obviously he is a fossil already so why does it still exist and are now obviously torturing the present generation who had nothing to do with this.

My thoughts were still rambling on and on, drawing me from the class and into my brain where words literally took formation and fought each other. I felt like a spectator and I didn't know which side to choose.

It was as if the words then metamorphed into Adrian and Romeo.

Pick me, Adrian whispered.

No me, Romeo said

Am the one you like

Noooooooooooooooooo! I screamed out loudly, drawing the class attention towards me.

Our class teacher Mrs Declan stopped and turned to face me. Is there anything wrong with the equation I'm solving, miss Tiana.

What ! No you see..... Luckily I was saved by the bell as the students started packing up their books.

We continue from here, the next time we see. Good day class. Mrs Declan said as she walked out. I sheepishly sat down in my chair and played with my pen.

Romeo placed his headphones on his head and stared out the window, obviously he wasn't going to start up a conversation.

I had decided to leave when Tracy and Adrian came to my seat and said

Watch out, new girl. You are definitely on the wanted list now.

Do I look like I give a damn. Better come at me with all you got ok.

So mouthy for a loner. Where's your crew, that you appear to be so  confident.

Oh, I know what I can do alone. You better don't step on my toes. I concluded smirking as I left..

I checked out my timetable and saw that I had free period.

Awesome, that's what I just needed. Now Romeo will probably have his next class, and bye bye to distraction and I will use the period to start looking for my victims. Too much time has passed already.

I sauntered down hallways and hallways till I got to a pretty old rusty door which from afar could be mistaken as a wall. I went towards it and found out it was locked. I pressed my ears to the door and I could hear the trickling of water.

What the hell is behind the door. I wondered.

I checked the hallways and saw I was the only one in the area so I used my powers to melt the door handle and I was able to step in.

I could see vines hanging,and my curiosity grew. What ever is behind these vines. I thought as I walked past it.

Woah! I exclaimed as I walked into the breathtaking garden. I could hear the birds whistling and other garden noises.

Is this possible?! I thought as I sat down.

I think I have finally found my secret spot and it's perfect. I said as I sat down on a bench and stretched my body, allowing the sunrays to fall on me.

I quickly remembered what I was supposed to do and I brought out a book, small black book with red lock.

It may look like a diary but it's much worse.

Luckily it can only be opened with magic so even if it fell in the wrong hands, the secrets it contained will still be safe.

I opened the book and on the first page was engraved these words.

                   ✓KILL LIST✓

I opened the next page and I saw the first person. It was a name, a page. And Drake made it in such a way that the next page can't be opened until the given name was dead or out of the picture.

I looked at the student picture and Bio.

It was a girl by name Louise Peterson.

I had barely read the first page when I felt a shadow cast upon me. I quickly shut the book as I glanced up to see the intruder.

I had to squint my eyes a bit cause of the powerful rays but I knew instantly who it was.

Romeo stared at me, surprise written all over his face.

Did he see anything?! I wondered

How did you find this place. This is my secret hideout.

Oh! I was wondering around and boom, here I am. I said chuckling as I stood up.

I didn't know when my book fell off and landed in the shrub beside the bench.

Really?! Romeo said raising an eyebrow in disbelief.

Yeah really, I echoed as our attention was cut off by the faraway bell that just rung.

What's that bell for?

Next class, Romeo said curtly.

Oh, I guess I better get going. I said as I left,scolding myself. Why do I always act nice and like a dummy when I am around him.

Urghhhhh, my heart stop beating so fast already. You didn't run a marathon. I said squeezing my face.

Romeo stared at my retreating figure when his eyes caught sight of the book. He picked it up and put it in his pocket as he went after me.

               Ruby's POV

Right now I am in chemistry class. Usually I love all chemistry classes but this chemistry class is super weird and different.

Maybe it's as a result of the fact that Dwight was sitting beside me and making jokes about the class and using the world's most terrible pickup lines.

I was so frustrated and irritated that I broke two of my pencils.

In the beginning of the class, he asked me for a pencil and since I had a lot, I gave him but when he kept frustrating me, I totally forgot that the pencil he was using was mine and I took it from him and snapped it in half.

Dwight looked surprised and when he started laughing, I realised what I did and I grabbed my head and groaned in frustration.

Unintentionally I grabbed my pencil and broke it for absolutely no reason...okay maybe not for no reason though because I was actually frustrated.

He borrowed another pencil from a nerd and I took another one of mine again and tried to ignore him.

Keyword is tried.. cause he wouldn't stop flirting.

It was partially my fault though and it started like this.

Jeiel, Haziel and I kinda snuck into the teacher's lounge because Haziel said they had an endless supply of nutella there.  Who fucking says no to free chocolate.

She has been studying the teacher's lounge for over a year.....pretty weird right

Haziel confirmed that they were no CCTV and they were no teachers because they were all busy. The school is a big school anyways, so we started rummaging the room for chocolate candy bars.

We eventually found them and it was such a beautiful sight. In the back of my eyes, I could see lights shining in the nutellas so we took a few....okay a few is an understatement.

We took a lot and to my surprise, there were also Twix in there. You know tht candy that's the mixture of chocolate and groundnuts...yeah that one.

In our defense,we are only trying to help then with their unhealthy consumption of chocolate by taking them without their permission. You see!

We are actually being thoughtful and nice students and we are definitely not stealing *winks*

We dispersed from the scene of the crime after the warning bell and left for our various classes.

The rest of my classes before chemistry were really funny because Barry and Ray were in them and they kept cracking jokes in the class.

Now to chemistry class with Mr Collins, I sat at the back where my seat was located and surprisingly Dwight was in my class.

Girls flirted with him even showing skin just like they did with every attractive guys the see. Disgusting.

Anyways Dwight paid no attention to them as he sat beside me. Shocker cause it wasn't his seat.
