Two days later, Nolan was trying to get in touch with Adrian or Audrey but he couldn't.

"Dad is she really going to come home? It's her birthday." Josephine asked

"I don't know, I hope she does." Nolan said.

"What did you and her mom do to upset her anyway?" Josephine asked

"Josephine, just drop it, I got a lot on my plate right now." Nolan said

"Really? We're going back to school in the next two days and yet we can't find Audrey." Josephine said folding her hands across her chest.
