CHAPTER 48

Audrey walked into the house.

"Maxine, Maxine are you in?" Audrey called out knocking on Maxine's door.

"Audrey."

"Oh nanny." Audrey said with a smile

"Miss Maxine is not home yet." Lola said

"Oh, okay thanks." Audrey said

"Dinner is ready should I bring it up to your room?" Lola asked

"No I'll eat at the table, I just need to take a shower first." Audrey said

"Okay dear, I'll set the tables." Lola said leaving

Audrey took a shower and after changing her clothes she walked down the stairs. Maxine walked in to the house with all hope that her father wouldn't scold her or Audrey wasn't home yet.

"Audrey. You're home early." She said slightly startled

"And you're home late. What took you so long?" Audrey asked

"I was training with Kyle earlier. And practice ran late."

"Oh, that's okay although I'm not the one you should be explaining to with a worried face tell that to dad." Audrey said

"Come on, join me for dinner."

"Right I'm starving." Maxine said taking a sit at the table
