The next morning we strolled back to the house, enjoying our quiet white surroundings before we went back to our complicated lives. I wanted to stay a day or two longer especially after the wonderful surprise but I’d missed my kids and Ash also wanted to see them. My memories of the past few days of them weren’t enough.
