Chapter 82
I walked to the kitchen, feeling happy and complete again. I was together with my family again, but I’d prefer to be in our own home. Yes every wolf out there knew where we lived but I always thought we had home field advantage. No one knew those forests better than Ash, Joe and Billy. They had proved it time and time again, surviving every assault and depleting Baku’s army. And as beautiful as this house was, it was too small for nine people and it didn’t have a panic room and the forest wasn’t as big as the one back home. I spent that entire day in my room, and when night came, my sisters took my children away anticipating Ash’s arrival but he didn’t come.
