"Yes, it was me. The Seltzers aren't worth much of my time just yet."

Jennifer got even more infuriated. "You sure think very highly of yourself. You better get down on your knees before Lewis and thank him for saving your life!

"If it were not for Lewis getting rid of the Seltzers, I'm afraid you would have died a miserable death."

"Lewis? You think he was the one who got rid of the Seltzers?" Henry tried to speak in his usual tone, but he could not hide his contempt.

John was furious to see the arrogant, rude, and unreasonable Henry.

Lydia felt helpless. She thought Lewis was the one who had got them out of trouble. She dared not imagine the price the Millers would have to pay for messing with Mason Seltzer. Yet, Henry had no idea what his action had cost them and remained ignorant.
