After all, there was some good news.

Bowen York supported the Millers in joining the chamber after Lewis introduced her to others.

Bowen was one of the six directors of the Everising Chamber of Commerce. The Millers had a good chance of being admitted to the chamber.

Lewis nodded and walked aside.

He scolded the siblings. "What's wrong with you two? I brought you here to embarrass Henry. Why does he look so comfortable?"

Luiz looked aggrieved and said, "We did, but he ignored us.

"And he seemed very relaxed attending occasions like this, not as nervous as we expected.

"I feel like he's not as simple as he seems."

"Bullshit, he just doesn't feel ashamed."

Lewis sneered. "Forget about that. This is perfect. It will annoy Lydia even more, making it easier for me to win her over."

Even though Lydia was annoyed by what Henry did, the progress regarding joining the chamber was significant.

Lydia's mood was relatively fine.
