When Lydia realized Heney was back, she smiled in relief.

"Weren't you supposed to be out all night?"

"Yeah, I was, but then I thought about you being home alone. So, I handed off my work and returned to keep you company," Henry replied with a gentle smile as he pulled Lydia into his arms. It had been too long since he had held her.

Lydia blushed, protesting softly as she melted into his embrace.

"You always bully me," she murmured and scolded Henry playfully.

However, Lydia's expression changed as soon as she spoke. She caught a scent—several, in fact. Lydia had always been sensitive to fragrances, especially after building her cosmetics line at the Miller Group and later overseeing the perfume division of Sky Avenue Group. The subtle mix of perfumes clinging to Henry's clothes made her tense.
