Adriana's Point of View

"The Fae, Avril, is Tyler's mate," Daemon mind-linked me.

"Is she? Oh, my Goddess!" I gasped in astonishment as I processed the revelation.

The bond between a Fae and a wolf shifter was exceedingly rare. The only known one was the original Silver Wolf Pack.

"Do Fae feel the mating bond?" I asked Daemon.

"I'm not sure, but I know they worship the Moon Goddess, among other deities," he answered.

I hoped for Tyler's sake that Fae did indeed feel the mate bond or wouldn't reject him. Any bond should be considered a sacred connection in our mystical world. At least Tyler would get to work alongside Avril, allowing them to get to know each other.

Daemon stood and announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, once we have finished our early lunch, I would like for us to have a meeting. Unfortunately, the renovations to the packhouse are not fully completed, so I will arrange for cars to take us to our home office."

Based on the murmurings, the general consensus was that everyone

Adriana's Point of View "We have more visitors," Daemon announced. "They are both Alpha and Witch council members," explained Delilah. "They have come to join in and fight." There was a cacophony of noise from both our own and the visitors. It was so noisy I could barely hear myself think. "Enough!" boomed Daemon, resulting in immediate silence, for which I was grateful for. I didn't know why the Council of Alphas or Witch's Council had come to join in the fight, but given Kree's potential power, I wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. While our spies informed us that we still outnumbered them, our enemies still had the potential to cause a lot of damage and death. Delilah, Sebastian, Daemon and I drove down in one car to the gate to greet the new visitors. The entire Witch's Council, which comprised of thirteen witches and warlocks, were waiting at the gate. Delilah explained that Pania, Amiria and she were representatives in that they dealt with people on behalf of th

Adriana's Point of View "It appears the escaped prisoners have been accounted for," I announced to the occupants of our makeshift office. All eyes were on me with that comment, and given the look of confusion, I needed to elaborate. "Our scouts, who were keeping watch over Kree's camp, have indicated that around fifty rogues and a couple of witches have joined her camp." "You know where they are?" asked Roderick. "Yes. Yes, we do," I answered, "and we were about to discuss possible tactics and strategy." "Knowing where they are and going into battle are two very separate actions," said Daemon in support. "We want to determine where and when we attack them. We want as little casualties on our side as possible." Everyone nodded in agreement, so Daemon took it as an opportunity to get his map of the area and lay it on the dining room table. "Here are the combined borders of the Black and Silver Wolf Packs, which now make up the Royal Pack. This small area between the two packs has

Adriana's Point of View Wait! What? I was a direct descendant of the Fae Queen. How was that possible? Obviously, my face mirrored my confusion as Avril further clarified, "One of Queen Aurora's daughters was mated to the last Lycan King. Before the hunters killed the King and Queen, their children were sent away to hide in the Silver Wolf Pack. All three children found their mates and became part of the pack." "How long ago was this?" I asked. "Approximately two hundred years ago," answered Avril. "Queen Aurora believes that Kree committed genocide on your pack because of the innate Fae power in your blood. Since she is a blood witch, that power can be harnessed through dark magic. Now, do I have your permission to open a portal to allow our warriors to come through?" Daemon and I nodded our consent. Avril walked outside with us following her. She stood in the same clearing that Kree and Brandon Senior had started to sacrifice me. It was a bit unnerving to think about it. Avril

Adriana's Point of View We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening discussing tactics and strategy. It was quite intense as we went through every possible scenario, and there were many of them. Knowing where Kree and her warriors were located was fortuitous as we didn't need to spend time finding that information out. After an hour or so, Daemon and I took a break to go and see the twins. With all the visitors arriving and subsequent meetings, we hadn't seen much of the twins today. If we weren't careful, our children would miss out on bonding time spent with us, and they would be grown up before we knew it. When the twins went back down for their early evening nap, Daemon and I joined the rest of the team to continue in battle discussions. We finally decided to sneak through the forest and surround Kree's camp. Using illusions, the enemy wouldn't even know we were there. Between Lysander and his illusionists, we would be totally hidden from sight, sound and smell. At dawn's

Daemon's Point of View Knowing that we had to get up early in the morning, I had held back from taking Adriana more than once. Ideally, a couple more rounds before sleep would have been great, but we had to get up early before it was light. Our plan was to surround Kree's forces and attack at first light. "Alpha! Luna! Wake up! Something has happened!" Tyler yelled as he banged on our door. "Why didn't you mind-link me?" I asked grumpily. Looking over at the clock, it was only 2:07 a.m. This had better be important! Adriana woke up simultaneously, and we rushed to get dressed and go downstairs. It looked like Tyler had roused everyone, including the kitchen Omegas, who were busy serving coffee and breakfast to go. "What seems to be the problem?" I asked, taking a mug of coffee. Lysandros came forward, saying, "I had a vision. A pack was getting attacked by the dark witch and her rogues. They killed the Alpha and his men, and many women and young girls were raped. I am sure it ha

Adriana's Point of ViewIt was about 4:00 a.m. by the time we had organised our ambush at the Red Devil Pack. Daemon and I stood together in our Lycan form, surrounded by our warriors and guards in their wolf forms. It seemed strange to be surrounded by bears, jackals, eagles, lynx, mountain lions and Fae, but here we all were. While hidden from our enemy's view, we could still see each other. Lysander had said we could whisper to each other without being heard as long as it wasn't too loud. The illusion would keep us hidden from sight and sound, but none of us were chancing it.Since Daemon had been successful with mind-linking Roger, we quickly tested it on the non-wolf shifters and found it successful. Being King and Queen of all shifters had some benefits. Mind-linking any of our subjects was one of them.As the moon hung high in the sky, casting an ethereal glow over the forest, I could feel the adrenaline coursing through my veins. This was the moment we had been waiting for the

Adriana's Point of View Roger and his warriors came out of the bunker to the aftermath of the battle. Dead rogues littered the blood-soaked ground. The entire cleaning in front of the packhouse had turned red, and the stench of blood would likely hang around for days. Some of the Omegas were sent to cook us breakfast, and Roger had his pack members take over carting the bodies to be burnt, telling us that we had done enough for them already. Leading us inside, he showed us where we could clean up. A sponge bath wasn't as good as a shower, but at least we were somewhat clean. We all had clean clothes to wear afterwards. That was the benefit of taking off our clothes before shifting. If we hadn't, we wouldn't have any clothes to change into. Even though Daemon and I didn't need to strip first because we had learnt how to shift without damaging our clothes, we had undressed anyway. I was thankful we had taken them off because we were still covered in blood when we returned to our huma

Adriana's Point of View We were victorious tonight and lucky. Lucky in the fact that we had the Fae warriors and witches with us to hide us, visually and audibly, as well as masking our scent. Any injuries our warriors or shifter allies sustained were easily fixed. I wasn't sure about the Fae or witches, but none were reported as injured, so it remained unknown. This is something I would need to ask Allandro or Avril about. After answering some questions from Roger's pack, we entered the packhouse. Our intention was to have Allandro open a portal for home. I hoped we would get a chance to rest before preparing our following action against Kree. Just as we walked up the stairs, a man and woman ran up to us. "Your Majesties," the man called as our guards stepped between him and us. Daemon and I turned towards them and walked back down the stairs. I could tell they had something to say to us and were worried. Other than that, I sense no hostile thoughts towards us. "What seems to be

Cole's Point of ViewFirst thing in the morning, we sought out Danielle's mother, Stephanie. "We found our mate last night, and she is friends with Danielle," said Marc."Congratulations," she answered. "Danielle stayed with her friends last night. Which one of her friends is your mate?""Her name is Lucienne," I gushed.Raising her left eyebrow, she warned, "You will have a strong Luna indeed. Be prepared for changes. She is not one to mince words, and there are some things that happen around here she will not like. She has a high moral compass."Good. I wasn't worried because things needed to change around here. After breakfast, as the warriors and many other pack members who were training with them gathered for a routine training session, I took the opportunity to address them. The non-warrior pack members would also include many females, although it wasn't compulsory for them to train, as it was for the men.The decision to integrate females into training had been our idea and had

Marc's Point of ViewAs I watched Lucienne stride out of the club, her every step brimming with authority, I felt like a force of nature had passed through. She was fierce, with a powerful presence that was impossible to ignore. The way she stood up to us, unyielding—that kind of strength was rare. And beneath it all, she was breathtaking, her beauty undeniable even as her words cut sharp.Cole stood beside me, his gaze fixed on the empty doorway Lucienne had just walked through. His jaw was tense as if he were trying to hold back the swell of emotion that had overtaken him. He swallowed, a flicker of something like awe passing over his features, and then he finally spoke, his voice low and almost reverent. "Our mate… she's incredible." He ran a hand over his face as if trying to piece together what he'd just witnessed. "I mean, I always imagined my mate would be strong, but Lucienne… she's beyond anything I could've pictured."He turned to me, his eyes searching mine as if hoping I'd

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 4: The Gamma And Her Twin Alphas - Chapter 5 What to do?

Lucienne's Point of ViewOur parents had finally arrived. They were staying on the same floor but in a different suite further down the hallway. No doubt, members of their entourage would be either in the same suite or next door.Cedric and I left Aaron with Danielle in case she woke up and wanted to know where we were. I could hear the soft rustle of her breathing, gentle and rhythmic, with an occasional deeper inhalation. Her heart resonated faintly, a steady thrum. Listening to someone sleeping was like tuning in to a delicate symphony of subtle noises. As we stepped into the suite, I could see it was set out and decorated like ours. The living area was spacious, featuring an oversized sectional couch adorned with plush pillows, perfectly arranged around a glass coffee table gleaming under a stylish chandelier's light. I could see my parents, Queen Adriana and King Daemon, seated together on one of the sofas, their regal presence commanding the room. My mother radiated grace, her

Lucienne's Point of View"Enough!" I bellowed. The room went silent as I let my Alpha aura ripple out, filling the space. The banshee's sneer disappeared, replaced by shock and fear as she and Eric fell to their knees under the weight of my command. My Alpha aura was so intense that it made my mother and father bow down under its weight. This was one of the reasons my brother offered me the crown. At a young age, I accepted that Cedric, as the firstborn, would be the Lycan King. I was happy with that. I might have been stronger and faster, but I loved him so much that I would protect him."I don't know who the fuck you think you are, but I don't. Tolerate. Bullies," I said coldly, my voice sharp and steady. "Don't you ever touch anyone I care about again!""Her name is Beatrice," Danielle said quietly. "She is the daughter of Luna Elizabeth."I don't give a fuck who she is," I answered. "As I said… I don't tolerate bullies, especially when they hurt someone who is like family to me and

Lucienne's Point of View"Everyone else knew," Eric said, admitting there was a problem in the pack that the twins knew nothing about.Evidently, their future roles as Alphas required more than physical strength or inherited titles—they demanded awareness, responsibility, and a willingness to confront uncomfortable truths. These future Alphas looked totally clueless, and if they were to lead properly, they needed to step up and quickly."Before we go any further, which one of you is Marc and which of you is Cole?" I asked, my eyes narrowing as I studied them closely. They were almost identical, but there were differences. I also realised they didn't know my name, so I introduced myself. I didn't mention any titles, just my first name. They shared the same towering height at over 200 centimetres, broad shoulders, and olive-toned skin that hinted at Mediterranean heritage. Their dark brown hair was styled similarly, yet subtle variations set them apart. Marc stood just a touch taller, t

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 4: The Gamma And Her Twin Alphas - Chapter 2 Arrival at Howlers

Lucienne's Point of ViewArriving at the Howling Moon Pack should have been an uncomplicated affair. The plan was straightforward: we would gather at a shifter nightclub just on the edge of the pack's territory. It was our friend Danielle's eighteenth birthday—a momentous occasion to be celebrated with the companionship of cherished friends. Hopefully, she would find her mate, making it even better. After the celebrations, we were to cross into the pack lands alongside my parents. Once inside, I would be assessing the pack's warriors and their skills. I envisioned a couple of carefree days filled with camaraderie and laughter, reconnecting with friends amidst the rugged, blue-tinged mountains that cradled the pack. However, experience had taught me that simplicity was often an illusion in our world, and as I would soon discover, the weekend held surprises that could shift everything in ways I hadn't anticipated. There was also Mason, son of Beta-Prince Tyler and Princess Avril, and Ka

The air was thick with the sounds of grunting and the sharp thud of bodies colliding, each strike resonating with a raw energy that sent a thrill through me.As the sun dipped lower on the horizon, the long shadows of the combatants stretched dramatically across the parched earth, their silhouettes stretching and twisting like dark, animated shapes in the fading light. It was rather important because it was the beginning of the Supernatural Council, which is mentioned in Book 4.Book 4: The Gamma and her two Alphas follow Princess Lucienne and is set just over 18 years into the future. Lucienne is not entirely happy being a princess and certainly is not all ladylike like her mother, Queen Adriana, wishes she was. In fact, she can be a bit of a rebel at times and pulls no punches if you piss her off.
