Adriana's Point of View

Yesterday was the final fitting for my gown. It was stunning, and the lace matched the amulet I was still wearing. Delilah told me to continue wearing it, as they weren't entirely sure I was safe from blood witches. Although Kree was incarcerated and her father dead, no one knew if any other blood witches had been a part of it. Kree wasn't talking. Neither was Brandon Junior or his wolves.

I chided myself because I wanted to forget about the incident, especially for today. There would be time after the ceremony to worry about it. For now, I wanted to enjoy my life and celebrate. As for the fitting, it was perfect. I didn't need to mention to Lexi that I was pregnant, as I was still not showing. The dress style wouldn't have made it obvious anyway, as it wasn't figure-hugging.

James and his crew arrived early this morning to set up the tables and serving area. James was busy bossing Diana and Lucia around, and I couldn't find it in me to feel sorry for them. P

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 2: The Lost Princess - Prologue

Adriana's Point of View "Argh!" I cried in pain, squeezing Daemon's hand as hard as possible. "Not long now, Luna," the midwife replied. "Soon, you'll be fully dilated and able to push. At the moment, keep breathing like I showed you." The pain was too much for me to fully understand everything she said, and it seemed like Daemon understood this. "Breathe," he murmured in my ear before huffing with short breaths. It was just what I needed, and I huffed along with him. Each contraction seemed to last a lifetime, but in truth, it wasn't very long at all. I had all but blocked out the midwife, but Daemon kept talking to me, repeating the midwife's instructions. It wasn't long before Daemon relayed that it was time to push the babies out. Our second pup greeted the world less than one minute after the first. "Alpha, Luna, here is your son and daughter," announced the midwife. A nurse handed me one of the babies, and I held my son for the first time. He was so tiny but very noisy.

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 2: The Lost Princess - Ch. 1 - DNA

Adriana's Point of View After a late night with the twins naming and celebration, it was another bleary-eyed start to the day. Instead of breastfeeding both twins, I fed one while Daemon fed the other with expressed milk. I still had to express more milk afterwards, but Daemon took the twins and settled them down again. Thankfully, all they wanted to do at this stage was feed and sleep, with some socialising with us. I hopped into the shower and was happily surprised that Daemon snuck in to join me. Due to our fast-healing shifter gene, I had healed quickly from giving birth and wanted to spend some romantic time with my mate. Unfortunately, we had to hurry out of the shower, eat our breakfast and be ready for Perry St Claire and Delilah to arrive for their meeting. We sat down in the smaller dining room, and Diana brought us our breakfast. I really didn't trust her, but there wasn't anything to warrant this feeling. In fact, she was overly nice to me, syrupy even. Maybe I was just

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 2: The Lost Princess - Ch. 2 Lycans

Daemon's Point of View After Adriana and I had said farewell to Perry and Delilah, we went back upstairs to our office. "You are looking very thoughtful there," I said to Adriana. "What have you got on your mind?" "I just have so many questions that I can't answer," she said with evident frustration. "It is all very well to suggest I shift to a Lycan, but I wasn't joking when I said 'easier said than done', more like mission impossible. Do we have anything in the library about Lycans?" "Let's go find out," I answered before mind-linking Tyler, asking him to take over while we were gone. We walked down to the centre of our pack town to the local library. There was a room there that was kept locked at all times. The only time people were allowed in there was when they had my permission. Many of the books were old, and we wanted them kept in as pristine a condition as possible. Of course, the librarians would enter and keep the place dust free, but that was all. "Morning, Kailee,"

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 2: The Lost Princess - Ch. 3 More Research

Adriana's Point of View Daemon and I left the library and returned to the packhouse for lunch. Alana had been looking after the twins while we were out. I had breastfed them before I went to the library and needed to do it again before lunch. While waiting for the afternoon meetings and the twins to wake up for their next feed, I started reading the book about Lycan physiology. The first sentence stated that the only Lycans here were members of the Royal Family. They were given that position by Selene, the Moon Goddess. In contrast to wolf shifters, Lycans had a four-legged wolf as well as two-legged werewolves. This creature was capable of walking upright on two legs. It looked like the werewolf of human movies, but that was as far as the relationship went. Lycans were not some devouring beasts unable to control themselves, far from it. Like wolf shifters, Lycan's eyes would change first. Unlike wolves, their eyes would change into amethyst colour orbs, much like I had now. Then,

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 2: The Lost Princess - Ch. 4 Tempting the Lycan

Adriana's Point of View It was now nighttime, and I was going to try shifting into a Lycan for the first time. I honestly had no idea how to even begin other than to imagine the creature I wanted to become, but I was going to try anyway. It might take a couple of tries. It might not even happen. I stood next to Daemon and stripped in the dark. "Let's do this, Calliope," I said. Imagining Calliope on two legs was a bit hard as I only saw her in my mind as being on four. "It's not that hard," grumbled Calliope, who then projected her ideal image of what she would look like as a Lycan. "Wow!" I exclaimed. "You look terrific! Not that you don't, anyway." "Of course!" I felt her smirking back at me. I held on to the picture in my mind and imagined flowing into it. The world seemed to phase in and out, and I felt like it was actually working. Suddenly I felt strong negative emotions that appeared to come from Daemon. After around ten minutes, I sat down naked on the grass. Daemon ca

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 2: The Lost Princess - Ch. 5 A Break

Daemon’s Point of View All the pack lands had been magically fortified against Kree and any blood witches working with her. I was glad that Perry, Delilah, Amiria and Pania, the other witches who were introduced to us once they had finished fortifying the borders, were staying here. Keeping Adriana safe was paramount, not just because she was possibly the last royal remaining. I honestly don't know how things would change if it was proven that she is royalty. Part of me was feeling guilty because I was hoping that she wasn't. I wouldn't love her any less, but it would make life just that little bit easier for us if she were a regular shifter. Of course, she wasn't, as she was part Fae. One look in her eyes told that truth. Along with trying to see if Adriana was a Lycan, I was feeling a little ignored. She was absolutely exhausted every night and would fall asleep straight afterwards. I decided to go and speak to Delilah before this evening in hopes that she would help me get Adrian

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 2: The Lost Princess - Ch. 6 Another Day, Another Worry

Adriana’s Point of View Noises from the baby monitor roused me from sleep, proclaiming their hunger. While I had fallen asleep from exhaustion again last night, it was a different kind. Remembering last night's events brought a smile to my face. Daemon had been so gentle in his lovemaking, not that he was rough usually. It's just that this time had been more sensual and loving. Obviously, Daemon was also exhausted because he didn't wake up. I got up to heat the bottles for the twins by myself. I would have to express more milk afterwards, but there was enough for now. Both babies were changed first, and then, sitting the twins in their recliners, I was able to feed them simultaneously. While I was doing that, Daemon came in. "Did I wake you?" I asked. "No," he answered. "It was more that you weren't in bed beside me that woke me up." Daemon took over feeding one of them, meaning they could be picked up and held. I could spend hours staring in wonder at my two little boys. They we

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 2: The Lost Princess - Ch. 7 Finding a Nanny

Daemon's Point of View With all of the discussion about Adriana shifting into a Lycan, I found myself feeling worried that she would move on with her life and leave me behind. She must have sensed my uncertainty through our mate bond because she mind-linked me, "Nothing's going to change in terms of our relationship. You are and will always be my mate, no matter what. I love you to the moon and back." This made me feel much better. Originally, Adriana had been nervous and worried about our relationship, and it was me trying to settle her mind. Now it was me. Maybe it was payback for all the problems I put her through in the beginning. I refocused back on the conversation between Delilah, Perry and Adriana. Adriana was explaining what she'd been doing and what had been happening. "It sounds like it might possibly be working," said Delilah. "Definitely sounds like something is happening that is not part of your normal shift," concluded Perry. The general consensus was that we woul

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 4: The Gamma And Her Twin Alphas - Chapter 3 Mates

Lucienne's Point of View"Enough!" I bellowed. The room went silent as I let my Alpha aura ripple out, filling the space. The banshee's sneer disappeared, replaced by shock and fear as she and Eric fell to their knees under the weight of my command. My Alpha aura was so intense that it made my mother and father bow down under its weight. This was one of the reasons my brother offered me the crown. At a young age, I accepted that Cedric, as the firstborn, would be the Lycan King. I was happy with that. I might have been stronger and faster, but I loved him so much that I would protect him."I don't know who the fuck you think you are, but I don't. Tolerate. Bullies," I said coldly, my voice sharp and steady. "Don't you ever touch anyone I care about again!""Her name is Beatrice," Danielle said quietly. "She is the daughter of Luna Elizabeth."I don't give a fuck who she is," I answered. "As I said… I don't tolerate bullies, especially when they hurt someone who is like family to me an

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 4: The Gamma And Her Twin Alphas - Chapter 4 You have work to do!

Lucienne's Point of View"Everyone else knew," Eric said, admitting there was a problem in the pack that the twins knew nothing about.Evidently, their future roles as Alphas required more than physical strength or inherited titles—they demanded awareness, responsibility, and a willingness to confront uncomfortable truths. These future Alphas looked totally clueless, and if they were to lead properly, they needed to step up and quickly."Before we go any further, which one of you is Marc and which of you is Cole?" I asked, my eyes narrowing as I studied them closely. They were almost identical, but there were differences. I also realised they didn't know my name, so I introduced myself. I didn't mention any titles, just my first name. They shared the same towering height at over 200 centimetres, broad shoulders, and olive-toned skin that hinted at Mediterranean heritage. Their dark brown hair was styled similarly, yet subtle variations set them apart. Marc stood just a touch taller, t

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 4: The Gamma And Her Twin Alphas - Chapter 2 Arrival at Howlers

Lucienne's Point of ViewArriving at the Howling Moon Pack should have been an uncomplicated affair. The plan was straightforward: we would gather at a shifter nightclub just on the edge of the pack's territory. It was our friend Danielle's eighteenth birthday—a momentous occasion to be celebrated with the companionship of cherished friends. Hopefully, she would find her mate, making it even better. After the celebrations, we were to cross into the pack lands alongside my parents. Once inside, I would be assessing the pack's warriors and their skills. I envisioned a couple of carefree days filled with camaraderie and laughter, reconnecting with friends amidst the rugged, blue-tinged mountains that cradled the pack. However, experience had taught me that simplicity was often an illusion in our world, and as I would soon discover, the weekend held surprises that could shift everything in ways I hadn't anticipated. There was also Mason, son of Beta-Prince Tyler and Princess Avril, and Ka

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 4: The Gamma And Her Twin Alphas - Chapter 1 Legacy of a Warrior

Lucienne's Point of ViewI stood at the edge of the training grounds, my gaze riveted to the towering figures locked in intense sparring at the heart of the clearing. The air was thick with the sounds of grunting and the sharp thud of bodies colliding, each strike resonating with a raw energy that sent a thrill through me.As the sun dipped lower on the horizon, the long shadows of the combatants stretched dramatically across the parched earth, their silhouettes stretching and twisting like dark, animated shapes in the fading light. The fiery hues of dusk bathed the scene in a warm, golden glow, casting a magical atmosphere that ignited a fierce determination within me.I felt a surge of emotions rising to the surface—an unexpected mix of admiration, longing, and an aching desire to join their ranks and push beyond my limits. Each movement they made displayed skill and a testament to the relentless quest for strength and mastery that stirred something deep within my soul.I'd spent ye

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 4

Happy New Year everyone!I am starting to post Book 4. I am partway through the book and hoping to finish it before I go back to work at the end of January.I hope you enjoy the story of Princess Lucienne, a strong female character who finds love with two men who are confident within themselves and want to raise her up, not pull her down.

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   End of Novella

I hope you enjoyed that short story. It was rather important because it was the beginning of the Supernatural Council, which is mentioned in Book 4.Book 4: The Gamma and her two Alphas follow Princess Lucienne and is set just over 18 years into the future. Lucienne is not entirely happy being a princess and certainly is not all ladylike like her mother, Queen Adriana, wishes she was. In fact, she can be a bit of a rebel at times and pulls no punches if you piss her off. Book 4 has been started and will be posted starting January 2025.Check out my I*******m page (nikoradepressedpoet) for pictures of the latest covers. Each book will be available in paperback. I am rewriting parts of Book 1. The covers for books 4 and 5 are already designed.

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Dragon Princess - Chapter 30: A New Dawn

Asher’s Point of ViewAndreas fell to the ground, crumpling against the cold tiles, his body barely clinging to consciousness. The fury in his eyes was still present, but it was mingled with something else—fear. “You may have won this battle, but there are others who believe in the purity of Dragonkind,” he rasped, his voice barely a whisper. His words hung in the air, a twisted echo of the truth he could no longer deny. The irony was palpable; he had sought power through a dark alliance, yet he spoke of purity as if it still held weight. He had traded the purity he claimed to uphold for power, and now, even that was slipping through his fingers.Father stepped forward with the Council behind him, his expression one of grave disappointment. “Andreas, you and your father have sown discord among our people and disgraced your family name. T

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Dragon Princess - Chapter 29 Clash of Fates

Asher’s Point of ViewMy Dragon and I were enraged by Andreas’s words describing our fated mate as a dog. Rin placed her hand against my arm, its muscles tense and coiled tightly, fists clenched in anger. Her gentle touch acted like a soothing balm, softening my clenched fist.Slowly, I felt the anger beginning to dissipate, the pressure easing as I relaxed under her calming influence. The contrast between my earlier state and this new sense of peace was palpable, reminding me of the power of our bond. There was nothing Andreas could say that would make me turn against Rin. I would rather lose my crown than be without her.The tension in the council chamber was electric as Andreas continued to spew venom, his arrogance infuriating. I could feel the Dragon within me thrumming, eager for a confrontation. “Enough!” I

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Dragon Princess - Chapter 28: Truth and Treachery

Christine’s Point of ViewThe air felt thick in the chamber, as if the magic that summoned Andreas and Viggo hung around, binding us in an unseen net of tension. Viggo’s face was drawn tight, his eyes flickering with a dangerous mix of fear and rage. At the same time, Andreas’ expression remained cold and calculating. His eyes darted around the room, assessing, scheming.Andreas recovered first, straightening as if pulling on an invisible cloak of authority. “What you claim is… nonsense,” he panted, glaring at Eiríkr. Fighting the compulsion to tell the truth was taking its toll and making him sweat. “I’ve been… nothing but… loyal… to our kind. This… is a… farce!” He was panting now from the sheer exertion.Asher stood tall next to me, his ha
