Adriana's Point of View

Daemon and I were sitting down and waiting for our breakfast. Part of me was thrilled that he had defended me and told those Omegas that I was his Luna. It meant he supported me. While it wasn't a declaration of love, it showed at least he was serious about our relationship.

The other part of me was worried. Daemon knew I had purple eyes, but neither of us had discussed what it meant. I was sure that he might not want a hybrid Luna. Even if he did, what about the rest of the pack? Would it affect his leadership if the pack didn't want me?

I was about to tell him about my Fae heritage and why Brandon and Kree wanted to kill me. At that moment, Diana and Lucia came into the dining room with our breakfast, so we concentrated on eating for the next 15 minutes or so. I was ravenous now that Calliope was awake. Both of us needed the extra food so we could heal properly.

"What is it you want to say?" asked Daemon.

Obviously, I was not being subtle, so I took a dee

Daemon's Point of View After breakfast, Adriana finally told me what was worrying her. It was all to do with her amethyst-coloured eyes and her Fae ancestry. I was not surprised that the knowledge of her being a hybrid was troubling her, but she could be half-vampire for all I care. I would still love my mate. To think that I questioned the Moon Goddess' choice of mate for me. She was perfect. "I don't think any different of you, regardless of your bloodline, and frankly, neither will most people," I told her with all sincerity. "But... how can you be sure?" she asked me. Yes, she was worried, but I declared, "Just trust me on this," and I hoped she would. I informed her, "Both Tyler and Adam know you are part Fae. In fact, so do my parents. They have known for years." Although Mitchell had explained he knew about the colour of her eyes, he hadn't mentioned that he knew the reason behind it. "If it makes you feel any better, I could ask Mitchell to talk to his contact in the Cou

Adriana's Point of View "Elders," Daemon said to them, "I would like to introduce you to Adriana, daughter of the late Alpha Davide and Luna Mara from the Silver Wolf Pack, my fated mate and soon-to-be, our Luna." Holy shit! It was so real now that Daemon had declared me to be his Luna in front of the elders, no less. I was not sure how much power the elders had. I filed that question to ask Daemon later. If I had only known who I was, I might have been able to ask my mother to teach me about pack politics. I knew each pack was different, but some things must be similar. If I had learnt those things, I wouldn't feel so woefully uneducated now. I realised that Daemon had not only introduced me to the elders as his mate but also named the late Silver Wolf Pack leaders as my parents. That might bring trouble, but I wasn't sure. "How did she survive?" asked Elder Parker. Oh. That was not the question I wanted to answer at this stage. In fact, I wasn't sure exactly how to answer it wi

Daemon's Point of View Having Adriana in my arms again was pure bliss. I would never let her go if I could help it. After we made love, I held her in my arms while she napped for a short time. Between her injuries, the walk and incredible sex, I had tired her out, but I was unrepentant. I had been worried that Adriana would pull away from me after everything that happened, not that I would have blamed her. I hadn't treated her as well as I should have, and because of that, Adriana was put in a position that nearly cost her her life. Making it up to her would be my life's work if needed. Making love to Adriana was one of the most incredible feelings. Knowing that the Moon Goddess made her just for me made it all just that so much better. I lay beside her, just watching her as she napped. When she woke, it was close to lunchtime. "Let's have a shower and then lunch," I suggested. Adriana smiled in agreement, so I mind-linked a request to prepare lunch and make some sandwiches. Ad

Adriana's Point of View Daemon and I were now walking back to the packhouse after a meal and a drink at the local pack bar, Shifters. I enjoyed the entire day with Daemon and didn't want it to end. For the first time, Daemon declared to everyone that I was his Luna, and I was hopeful that our relationship would continue progressing as it had been. What I really wanted was for Daemon to declare his love to me. How would I get him to state this without seeming as needy as I was feeling? Was I supposed to ask him straight out? It was times like these that I missed being able to talk to my mother. We never did get a chance to have all those discussions about boys and growing up that Callie seemed to have with her mum. I honestly can't think of any other way of finding out other than to ask him. It felt like he was showing me he cared, and I certainly felt wanted. Was this love? Maybe it was, and I was just that clueless. I just wanted to be entirely sure that what I feel for him is the

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 1: The Lost Luna - Ch. 63 I Need To Be A Better Mate

Daemon's Point of View Adriana opened up to me last night, and I fully understood where she was coming from and her emotions. I felt humbled that she had shared her feelings with me. Like her, I had felt vulnerable too, but as an Alpha, I needed to be the one to look after and protect my mate. I never wanted Adriana to ever feel unhappy about our relationship. I wanted to be the rock of her life, so I needed to work on communicating with her. Something that neither of us was good at. I needed to be a better mate, and I was going to be, starting with making sure she had recovered from her ordeal. As soon as Adriana had awakened, I served her breakfast in the seclusion of our bedroom. The Omegas were already downstairs preparing food for those of us who lived there. I had them put breakfast on a tray which I took upstairs to Adriana. Food is one of the love languages of shifters, and feeding our mates was a way of letting them know we love and cherish them and could provide for them.

Adriana's Point of View "I intend for us to be working together," said Daemon. "We will be a team." "Okay," I replied, somewhat confused. I would have expected us to be a team since I was his Luna, but from what I gathered, the Alpha was still the boss. He was certainly bossy enough for both of us. "Usually, the Luna looks after the womenfolk, and the Alpha takes care of business. I want more than that for you.," Daemon continued. "I want us to make decisions together for the well-being of all pack members." I was a little shocked. It sounded like Daemon was putting me in an equal position to himself. I wasn't entirely sure if that would work. What if we had differing opinions? Whose opinion would we go with? I wondered what Tyler and Adam would make of it. What would his parents think? "Don't over-think it," said Daemon. "If we communicate properly, then we can make this work." I just hoped he knew what he was doing. After breakfast, Daemon led me back upstairs again. We had f

Daemon's Point of View Adriana and I arrived at my parent's place. She was nervous about meeting my mother in case Alana didn't like her. She seemed happier when I reassured her that my mother would love her as I did. Loving Adriana was easy. It was a no-brainer that everyone else would love her too. We were led into the dining room, and my mother called for Christina to come downstairs for lunch. When she came into the room, I introduced her to Adriana. "I remember you," she said. "Daemon! You didn't tell me the piano player at the restaurant was your mate. Geez, brother! You're impossible." "Yeah. I should have mentioned it. I was having a moment," I said, feeling rather sheepish, so I smiled and hugged Adriana to let her know she was my everything. As we sat down to lunch, I watched my friends and family interact with each other. Although Adriana was nervous about meeting my parents, they all seemed to get on with each other. Even my little sister Christina was talking animated

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 1: The Lost Luna - Ch. 66 Welcome To The Family

Adriana's Point of View After lunch, Alana, Christina and I went into the lounge to plan and discuss the mating ceremony. We had just sat down when another female about the same age walked in and joined us. "Stephanie!" called Christina. "I'm so glad you could come over and join us. Do you remember Adriana, the pianist from the Luna Restaurant? Well, it turns out she is our Luna." "I remember you," Stephanie exclaimed. "I am so pleased to meet you." I vaguely recalled Stephanie, but with all that had happened since that night, I was struggling to remember her. Christina explained that Stephanie was Tyler's younger sister. It made more sense after that, and I could finally place her. When we had driven back to the packhouse, Christina and Stephanie had returned with Adam. Stephanie sat down, and we got on with the planning. It was going to be held on the next full moon, which wasn't very far away. Merely a few weeks remained, leaving barely any time to organise it. "As soon as you

Cole's Point of ViewLucienne's breath caught, her heartbeat quickening, but she didn't pull away. The world around them seemed to still, the quiet of the room amplifying the thrum of her pulse in her ears. Then, with an uncharacteristic yet wholly captivating hesitance, I leaned down. My lips met hers in a kiss so soft and unhurried that it felt like time had paused to savour the moment. The kiss was chaste, a gentle melding of lips that carried no urgency, only a silent promise.Lucienne moaned, her lips opening slightly. My cock harden, making my jeans tight. The moan nearly made me come in my pants. That was enough of an invitation for me to deepen the kiss—our tongues sparring. When I finally withdrew, my forehead rested lightly against hers, my breath mingling in the shared silence. I closed my eyes to focus on reducing my arousal. Lucienne's eyes fluttered open, her lips tingling from the ghost of my touch, and for a moment, all the chaos and uncertainty in her world faded away

Marc's Point of View"What's your relationship with the Royal Family?" I asked, leaning towards Lucienne. I took note of the rare colour of her eyes. How could I have not noticed the stunning colour? It was the same as the Royal Family, but I had also noticed that two others in their entourage had the same shade of purple. There was another who had a deeper, darker purple.Suddenly, her eyes glazed over, and she was obviously mind-linking someone. I wondered who. I was an Alpha Wolf, and we were possessive creatures at best, and I had seen how close she was with Prince Cedric. I really hoped she wasn't in a relationship with him. For all intents and purposes, he seemed to be a nice guy, but I would hate him if she were with him."There's something you should know. About who I am," Lucienne stated. "I am here with my parents and twin brother, Cedric.""Cedric. As in… Crown Prince Cedric?" asked Cole, to which Lucienne nodded. "That makes you. I mean… Your Highness?""Stop right there!"

Daemon's Point of ViewWatching Lucienne ascend the stairs with Marc and Cole, I felt a pang of bittersweet pride settle in my chest. My little girl—my eldest daughter—was nineteen and all grown up. She moved with the grace of a warrior and the quiet confidence of someone who knew her worth. It struck me how much she resembled her mother—the same striking features, the same fire in her eyes.Adriana, standing beside me, seemed to sense my thoughts. She slipped her hand into mine, her touch warm and grounding. "She's everything we hoped she would be," she said softly, her voice laced with emotion."She is," I replied, my eyes still on the staircase where Lucienne had disappeared moments before. "It feels like just yesterday she was running around the house, training with Cedric, declaring she'd never wear a dress."Adriana chuckled, her laugh like music to my ears. "And now she's wearing heels and dresses but still commanding armies and winning trials."I couldn't help but smile. "She'

Lucienne's Point of ViewMarc's expression softened. "Why did you decide to become a warrior?"I smiled, the memory warming me. "It started when I was about six. I used to watch the warriors train and try to mimic their movements. At the time, it looked like an exotic dance to me. By the age of ten, I was training daily."Cole grinned. "And now you're the best of the best?""I wouldn't say that," I said modestly, brushing a strand of hair from my face. "But I work hard."Marc and Cole were seated on either side of me on the sprawling leather couch, their focus unwavering. Their attention made me feel both seen and scrutinised, but I pressed on, knowing they genuinely wanted to know more about me."Two weeks before I came here, I competed in the warrior trials," I continued, my tone steady, though a flicker of pride crept into my voice. "It's an intense competition. This time, it was designed to find the next Royal Gamma."Marc's brows lifted, and Cole leaned forward, resting his elbow

Lucienne's Point of ViewWe were back in the twins' suite of rooms, and I took a moment to soak in the space. It was undeniably warm and inviting, with a balance of rustic masculinity and understated charm that spoke volumes about Marc and Cole's personalities. The fact that it fitted with mine just made it all the better. The walls were painted in a deep slate grey, accented with dark wood panelling that added a touch of elegance. Soft lighting from strategically placed lamps gave the space a cosy glow, and thick curtains in a rich, earthy tone framed the windows, offering both privacy and a sense of comfort. The sprawling couch in the centre of the living area immediately caught my attention. Its dark leather looked well-worn but not shabby as if it had seen its share of long conversations and quiet moments. A plush, woven throw was draped over one arm, and a few mismatched pillows gave it a more relaxed feel. The scent of cedarwood filled the air, mingling with something distinctly

Lucienne's Point of ViewStaying at the packhouse had been the right call. Alpha Duncan's suggestion, though somewhat unexpected, made sense now that I was here. Getting to know Marc and Cole better felt necessary, especially with how things had changed lately. After all, not had I found my mates—two of them; Danielle had confided in me earlier that Eric insisted on spending time with her after he had claimed her as his mate in public—in front of Beatrice even. It had been heartwarming to see her so happy. When I'd assessed the warriors earlier in the day, she had been there with Eric, quietly glowing in his presence. Later, she told me everything—that Eric had denied ever being involved with Beatrice. He said he couldn't stand her but tolerated her because she was Marc and Cole's step-sister. She'd always hung around and had come on to him. He thought she'd stop once she found her destined mate, but he didn't expect she would actually come between him and his mate.Danielle told me t

Duncan's Point of ViewI had never seen anything like her.As Lucienne stood tall, her wolf towering over the other warriors, I couldn't shake the feeling. It wasn't just her size or the raw power she exuded—though both were unlike anything I'd seen before in our pack. Her aura, a dominance that saturated the room and left every shifter in the space, including my sons, captivated and slightly awed. There was no denying it now. The white fur, the piercing amethyst eyes, and the sheer size of her wolf… she was a Lycan and the daughter of King Daemon and Queen Adriana. How could anyone think otherwise or not even make the connection?Given her bearing and strength, I'd already suspected as much, but witnessing her wolf was another thing entirely. This wasn't the kind of power that could be taught or inherited lightly. It felt like it was ancient, almost primal, a presence that made everyone else's wolves seem small.I chose to keep that startling revelation to myself, knowing that sharin

Lucienne's Point of ViewI took down the three warriors effortlessly, including their Gamma, who put up a decent fight but was ultimately no match for me. He would have been their top fighter, except maybe the Alphas, but he didn't have my training. It might have been a tad unfair since I wasn't a Wolf-Shifter like them, but they needed a reality check. As they rose to their feet, dusting themselves off, the humiliation was unmistakable in their expressions. Their eyes avoided mine, and their jaws clenched with the sting of defeat. The fact that a female had beaten them only deepened the shame and disgust written on their faces. Clearly, this wasn't something they'd soon forget—or forgive."Let me handle this," my father's calm yet commanding voice echoed through our mind-link. He had noticed the intense, uneasy look the warriors were casting in my direction—a mixture of shock, resentment, and bruised pride. His tone carried the subtle authority that had always made him such a respect

Cole's Point of ViewLucienne was here in our suite, changing her clothes. My wolf stirred restlessly, eager to claim her, to make her ours in every possible way. Marc and I had waited so long, dreaming of the day we'd finally have our mate at our side, leading our pack. But now that Lucienne was here, the reality was even more consuming than we'd ever imagined. Her strength, her loyalty, her fire… she was a perfect match for us in every sense. As if sensing my thoughts, Marc turned to me with a smirk. "You're as restless as I am," he murmured, his voice filled with anticipation."Can you blame me?" I replied, my gaze drifting to where Lucienne had stood only moments ago. "She's perfect. I don't know how we ever lived without her."Marc nodded, his expression softening. "Soon, brother," he promised. "When the time is right. We'll mark her together."The thought was both thrilling and humbling. We would be bound to her, our souls intertwined. And with Lucienne as our Luna, nothing could
