*****One year later****

Moving through the trees, I moved back toward home. My wolf slowed just as we passed the last of the trees before the clearing of our home set in. Slowing even more, I came to a stop a few dozen yards away from the house. Laying in the grass, I watched as Owen moved through the gate for the tiny goat yard. I watched as he put food out for the goats. It was hard to believe it had been a full year—a year of peace.

For the first time in my life, since I was a kid, I actually felt like I was home. I didn't think living with the pack was something I would ever want to do. But I found peace knowing the pack was nearby. I had even befriended a few other members. One of which was Bryce, who helped me get a job within the pack. It wasn't much or anything extravagant. But working with the handful of kids within the pack that didn't have families helped me forgive the pack for leaving me to the humans, even with so many families within the pack. There were still

I am so sorry for the late update, everyone, also, for the small update. I am still working on the next couple chapters. I will do my best to get more chapters uploaded over the next couple of days to make up for being so late, along with only having one chapter ready to go now.
