TEN in the morning, Lucian receives a call from Charmel stating that Malena is now in the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department. His face distorted in rage instantly, “Latton” he muttered with disgust, as if the name was unworthy to be spoken.

He messages Alex to go to the LAPD to make bail for Malena while he marches to the 15th floor and gives Latton a piece of his mind.

When he entered her office, she promptly greeted him with the words, “Scared already?” She said as she propped her head on her hand on the table. As if she’d been waiting for him to arrive.

He swiftly walks toward her as if he's going to attack her, but he stops when he reaches her table.

“Are you going to hit me?” She asks as she looks up to meet his cold gaze. She could sense his anger emanating all over him, but it did not bother her.

He scoffed.

She stood up, moved her head near him, and whispered, “I want to see you try.”

"How do you even sleep at night, Latton?" He asks with disgust in his tone.

Good riddance, i hope Litton will start to love her self, she will not suffer that way if she only not give Lucian the liberty to abuse her hope she will not b disfigured to because she’s allowing him to do that she doesn’t have a self respect she’s the one to be blame

I understand it’s a book and some way some how they will come back together but for a few chapters he needs to suffer
