In a lab in one forested area. This was a warehouse, or it looked like it. Stationed outside was an army of soldiers guarding the place such that an insect could not get in undetected. This was one of those off radar places, that were owned by the government. The soldiers were dressed and ready for combat, patrolling the area in batches. The machine guns slung across their shoulders to their hands made someone shiver. At that time, a pale hand opened the door to the warehouse from the inside.
Slowly, the door opened and the outline of the person inside eventually became clear. He was gaunt if a word could describe him. He was professor Melvin, a scientist, who graduated from a well-known university. He had worked as a doctor for a while, before he was inducted into the CIA special group, which handled mysterious things that you would not believe existed. Right now, professor Melvin was headed to sixty-six, having stayed within this place for nearly the entirety of his adult life.
When the secret service had approached him, he had been sceptic, until he had come to a whole new world. He realized that time travel was possible, having been proven by some people in the place although it was not very stable. Sometimes the portal could experience some space storms proving highly unstable. For the last few years, they have been working on that together with other things.
When Mathew brought him to this place ages ago, he came to realize that this earth had many bizarre and weird creatures that existed. First, there were the vampires although their sporting’s had been far in between. They were few and according to the history of this research center, which has existed for over a century, they went dormant several years ago. On the other hand, the werewolves existed in the earth, those areas where they thought were hidden harbored them.
They had made efforts towards researching about them, and giving their long research, they were able to come into contact with information that proved useful. The experiments that they had done on the werewolves had proven that they had the ability to elongate the lifespan of a human being, if their genes are assimilated into the human body. Also, they are able to strengthen the overall physique of the person involved.
It was during such research that they came to know that an even greater form was to come. They called her the savior, who would rule the world. Anyone who heard that would of course laugh, I mean what savior, and what can that savior actually do. Melvin took a deep breath as he faced the sun, while squinting his eyes. He needed to get another sample for experiments, the one in his hands had already died.
Lifting his phone, which was well secured and untraceable, he called Mathew and spoke an encrypted message to him. “Warm blood is over.” On the other end of the line, Mathew took a deep breath as he realized he now had to go hunting. Yes, in any case, the werewolves were increasing in size and as a protector of the people, he had to make some effort towards keeping an equilibrium.
“You have my word, in a week, you will have everything you need.” Mathew said as Melvin switched his phone off and stretched his thin pale fingers. After that, he opened the door to the warehouse and got back inside. The computers in the place were wheezing, the technology that was employed in that place was way beyond what existed in the current world. Looking at the values that remained after he died, he felt himself start to get excited.
Their research was bearing fruits and very soon, everything would be great. Once again, the professor a different phone, and there he sent the latest report of the examinations that they had been doing on the werewolves.
On a certain remote are, Mathew stood while taking thoughts. After a while, he took his backpack and stored some food rations. They had developed a chemical that enabled werewolves to become weakened and dizzy when injected. Capturing a werewolf was always a nightmare. His left hand had the marks to bare. He had on a silicon hand, a result of his hand getting tone off as he wrestled one. Their regenerative abilities and speed made them very hard to hunt. The good thing was they were getting there.
His metallic hand, which operated like a robot was well equipped for his tasks. His shooting ability had even increased with time. Taking his motorcycle, and dressed in black cargo pants, black boots and of course a black biker jacket, he roved out of his place of residence. Off into the world to hunt. Intel had been coming and he knew just where to head towards.
On the other hand, the leader of the Victorians, Francis was mad and complaining to the strange man about how they had been defeated. “If it was not for you underestimating their combat ability, would we have lost like this,” Francis said as the anger in his heart made his chest bulge outwards exaggeratingly every time, he took a breath. You convinced me that the healer was enough for us to go against them, look at where we are right now. If you do not give me an explanation right now, there will be no peace, he said as he looked at the hooded man.Strangely, the man being talked remained silent, with his lips tightly sealed. He had on a red hood that obscured his face until it was not as visible. Looking at the man that was incessantly complaining, he felt anger begin to brew within his heart, but he forcefully brought his anger down. The good thing was that he had verified that she was different. Her abilities were unique, just like her parents, or should he say
After they had gone back, they slept for only a while before Ryan’s phone rang and they had to cut short their honeymoon. On going back, they found Thapelo standing on the veranda waiting for them. Looking at his closely knit brows, it looked like something serious had happened or was about to happen. Moving through the place as the verandah came closer, the servant werewolves greeted the alpha and the Luna courteously, before moving on with their other duties.Ryan’s beta also came along and by the way he twisted his nose, it was as though he was smelling something extremely unpleasant. Apparently, when werewolves mated, the female would adopt the scent of the male, which would not be enticing to other wolves apart from their mates. This scent was merely telling the other pack members that they had already mated.Seeing how the pack members were staring at her fervently, she hurried her steps as she climbed the stair that ushered her in the house. After ge
Several years ago;“Keep moving,” a hoarse voice commanded in the dark. The owner of this voice moved and pushed the man Infront towards the front, causing the man to fall face down. After he fell, a woman by his side, who was crying profusely, mucus strumming down her nose fell beside him. “Please spare us. Why are you doing this to us.” She had not even finished speaking when she was backhanded and a very strong hand held her neck in a strong grip. “Shut up, I said shut up, otherwise I’ll snap this twig of a neck before you even know it.”The one who said that to the woman, was a tall man, wearing a hood that obscured his facial features. His dark red lips moved revealing his pearl white teeth, that glistened in the dark. His mouth had two teeth that looked like fangs, extending from the upper jaw to the lower jaw. At other times, the teeth would appear short, while at other times, they would appear long, just like they were
The interior looked like a scene from a witch’s movie, of which the house did indeed belong to a witch. Just down at the door, there stood a small sized person, it almost looked comical. That was who had opened the door. Moving on, the place had several candles strategically placed to light the place, giving it an eerie atmosphere. The window on one side of the room was skewed and made of wood. The place had a long table, which looked old and aged. On it, there were different portions, emitting different colors. It almost felt like a witch from a children’s book, but no it wasn’t, on a seat just after the long table, sat someone in a purple long rob, that encased her figure. Her back was turned to the door, revealing a slender back. Her hair was held in an updo, showcasing her neck which had fine wrinkles around it. Down was the robe that had Chinese collars extending to cover a bit of her neck. As they got in, she did not turn back but instead talked to them. “I tak
The world was becoming restless, as though giving space for something lifechanging to brew. As the wolves from Congo were making their way to meet the savior, more incidences like the ones they had experienced were becoming more and more rampant. They had now lost six of their mates, left strangled and dead. This had infuriated Chilemba to point that he could be seen to shake with anger. He could not fathom what the hell had been going on, and on the other hand the seer kept talking in parables, yet one thing was clear. They were facing an unprecedented level of danger from something unknown and if this continued, they would not be able to get to their destination. Taking a deep breath, Chilemba turned to instruct his pack members to keep forging on, maybe the only help they could get was when they finally made it to their destination. Looking at the sky, Chilemba could feel himself sick with worry over what was happening. There was too much going on, they were going
Ryan rushed forward as Leila softened into his arms. Everything was happening too fast. One moment they were ready to meet with the Victorians. Things had already been set and the other was Leila fainting just as they stepped out. This was certainly the wrong moment to faint. As he thought like this he moved fast and started shaking her so that she would regain consciousness.Within a few shakes, her eyes trembled and she woke up looking disoriented. Standing, she took a deep refreshing breath before pushing everything else behind. This was a time to tackle the enemies and not faint regardless of what was happening. Changing, she moved and she felt led to move towards the man in a red hood. She felt that there was a peculiar connection between them as though they had known each other in the past though she could not recall.Changing they moved towards them, meeting a clash of not only physical bodies but also weapons. The excitement that was building up in the area was
Several years agoRed went on to take care of the lady though it proved harder every moment as it was as though she had lost all hope. She was ready to die. Yet when he remembered the witches’ words, he knew he had to put his best effort. And so, he had made every effort possible to make her healthy. She was a human lady who he later came to know was called Louise Claivoiyant, who had gotten mated to the alpha William Alexandria. It had come as a surprise that a union between mankind and the werewolves could be possible. Now on the other hand, William stayed on the floor, the cold sipping slowly into his body. He slowly came to be to realize that he was still in the same witches’ house that he had been taken to. Everything felt like a dream because he could not understand how things had come to be like this. They had been a happy family, leading the Alexandria pack with all his might. It felt like it had only been yesterday before disaster had struck and no
When the several packs in uniform howled towards Leila as the savior of the world, melee encompassed the area. The Victorians now sported a black face, as they started trembling. All this while they had been fighting, they had been fighting against the savior without their knowledge. When the alpha of their pack thought back to the last battle, he could not help but recall how Leila had behaved, all the power that had accompanied her. how come he had not realized it, and why did they have to follow Red’s voice. At that moment, pitiful wailing filled the atmosphere as the Victorians trembled and crashed on the ground weeping in anguish. At this moment, Leila stood before them majestically, as power radiated from her being. Beside her, Ryan stood looking at her, swallowing loudly, he could not help but recognize how divine his mate looked. She looked perfect. As they went on, the pack from Congo also arrived and joining in on the fray, made howling noises that shook the p
