Chapter 05— Fun with friends.

~Aurora POV~

The night passed into thin air—the new day began.

I told Rosie everything about Jacob, including the way he helped me escape from the case.

Rosie was pretty impressed as well.

She replied to me, "she can't see any helping nature through his face."

Hehe. She is right.

Jacob's face is very aloof and cold. When I saw him yesterday in class, he was chewing gum and he didn't care to talk to his classmates.

But when he came to meet me yesterday night, his behaviour was so soft, and he replied to everything with so much interest and so many feelings. 

Maybe he is cold in the morning and soft and romantic at night.

Haha! I chuckled at the thought while slapping my head.

Rosie stopped the car as soon as he reached his destination—the college.

We got out of the car, and I wrapped the bag around my shoulder when Rosie came to me and tapped her fingers on my shoulder while grabbing my attention.

   "Huh?"  I sounded while looking at her.

She gestured with her eyes to "watch my back."

I turned back, and, oh my god, Jacob is standing in front of me.

    "He was waiting for you, aww romantic!" Rosie chuckled, whispering in my ear.

I can't help but stare at him—he is 193 cm tall with broad shoulders under his white shirt and fitted jacket.

He is also undeniably ridiculously good-looking, with strong chiselled chest features despite the two-day stubble on his jaw.

There are small smile lines around the corner of his eyes, and his thighs are long enough to make anyone crazy after him.

Omg, why is he so handsome?

Is he even single, or does he have a girlfriend? The question was raised in my mind, and my lips pouted in sympathy, being jealous of his girlfriend.

   "Hey!"  He waved his hand at me, grabbing my attention.

    "Hello!"  Rosie greeted him while waving her hand.

    "You two talk, and I will look out for our other friends." While saying this, Rosie looked at me and gestured with her eyes, "Enjoy with him." 

Before leaving the place, she tapped her hand on his shoulder and gave him a cheeky smile.

   "What's up with her?" He rolled his eyes.

   "She thought you were standing here for me!" I stepped close to him.

He cleared his throat and looked here and there while ignoring my question.

   "Oh, my goodness, you were waiting for me?" I chuckled, turning his attention towards me.

He looked at me while pinching his forehead with his thumb.

   "I was waiting for my friend." 

   "Who is your friend?" I rolled my eyes here and there.

   "Here is my friend!" He pointed his finger at me, and I looked at him with wide eyes.

   "Are you joking with me?" I slapped him on his shoulder.

He scoffed, rubbing his shoulder.

    "I have no friends but now I have you, so I thought about going to college with you!"

   "Yeah, it's a good thought."

    "By the way, why didn't you make any friends?" 

    "Maybe because nobody wants to be friends with me." He shrugged his shoulders.

   "And why do you think so?" I inquired, crossing my hands over my chest.

     "I don't know, I feel like people are afraid of me whenever I am near them!" he rolled his eyes.

I sounded, "hmm."

   "You behave so cold." I shared my feelings.

  "Yesterday was your first day in college—why didn't you talk to anybody else? You made an angry face and were chewing gum."

   "Now my face kinda types." He looked at me, placing his hand in his jeans pocket.

    "Hey, don't blame your face. If you smile, then you will look so handsome." I sucked my teeth and stared at him.

    "Wow, a good way to insult someone." His words make me laugh hard.

    "It's okay. Now you are my friend, and all my friends are also yours."  I winked at him, but he didn't react much; he simply looked at me back.

   "Let's go. I will introduce you to them." I grabbed his arm and dragged him inside the college. 

Then some of the girls who are in the group stared at Jacob with lust in their eyes as soon as I dragged him inside.

Holy moly! My blood boiled in rage, and I grabbed his arm with both hands, showing my possessiveness.

I paused while watching Rosie, Daniel, and Ronald in front of the notice board. 

    "What is happening?" I asked, standing beside them.

   "There is a meeting in the administrative assembly." Daniel sighed.

   "Principle wants all of us to gather in the hall at 10 a.m. sharp." Ronald ended the information, looking at me.

   "Meeting?  Why what is the need for it?"  Jacob pinched his nose and looked at my friends, where Daniel shrugged his shoulders in response.

     "There is nothing mentioned on notice about the reason for the discussion." 

Jacob and I shared a look in response.

Soon, we gathered in the assembly, where the meeting held its discussion.

All the students looked at the stage as soon as the principal arrived.

  "Good morning, students!" Principal said on the mic.

  "I called you all to inform you that yesterday, whatever happened with our peon, is being investigated by the cops, and they want to close our college for two days." The principal revealed the piece of information while holding the mic in his hand.

   "Today and Tomorrow, the college will be closed—you can all come back from Monday onwards, and your classes will resume the same day!" 

Everyone sounded "huh" while sighing.

  "Is he kidding with us?" Daniel frowned.

    "He could have simply put the official notice on the college website." Daniel gritted his teeth while looking at the principal in frustration.

    "You can have a question—why didn't we post this notice on our college's official website?"

The moment the principal said this, we saw him in shock as he heard the thought Daniel was having. 

   "This is a murder case, guys, and I don't want to ruin our college's reputation while posting this kind of creepy notice on our website." The principal groaned.

   "Oh yes, the reputation only matters for this old frog!" Daniel growled.

Hehe!  He looks cute with his frustrated face.

     "If the cops call anybody, then cooperate with them."

   "Okay!"  All the students replied with bored faces.

    "Now, I dismiss everyone." The principle 

The students separated into groups.

I came out with my group as well and ended up in front of Rosie's car.

    "Now what do you all want to do?" Ronald muttered, standing in front of us.

   "I don't want to go to the hostel; I will be very bored there!" Daniel sighed.

    "Hey, why don't we go to the amusement park?"

    "Amusement park!"  Omg, I looked at Daniel.

   "That's a good idea!" Rosie exclaimed.

    "What do you say, Aurora?" Ronald asked, looking at me.

    "Hey, don't refuse the trip like yesterday." Daniel pouted his lips and joined his hands, making me melt into his actions.

Aw, he is a really cute pie.

   "I am not a mood spoiler." I laughed

   "I am always ready to visit an amusement park—let's go and have fun." I sounded excited while lifting my hand.

    "Hurry!"  Rosie and Daniel jumped in happiness—hehe!

    "Jacob, you are also coming with us, na?" I asked Jacob while grabbing his arm.

    "Me?"  He looked at me while placing his hand on his waist before looking at Ronald, Rosie, and Daniel.

   "Uhmm!"  He cleared his throat.

    "C'mon, don't refuse to come. Now that you are our friend, we cannot leave you alone."

  "Oh yeah, dude—you became our groupmate the moment you helped Aurora and took the blame on you as a witness." Ronald interfered standing beside Jacob.

I looked at Rosie as I told her only about Jacob.

Rosie blinked her eyes, giving me confirmation that she had told them about Jacob and my chemistry.

That's good; it became my responsibility to make him happy the moment I had a handshake with him and made him a friend.

     "Let's go!"  I pulled his jacket while turning his attention to him; he shared a look with me.

  "Okay!"  Jacob nodded his head.

  "Let's go!"  Daniel yelled at the top of his lungs while jumping in the air.

   "I follow you guys on my bike!" Jacob muttered, pulling out his bike.

     "Oh my gosh, a bike ride is more sexy than a car journey, dude—may I come with you on your bike?" Daniel looked at Jacob.

    "Bike ride is sexy! Gosh, you and your talks!" Ronald slapped Daniel on his forehead. Rosie and I laughed together.

    "Hehe come!"  Jacob sat on the bike. 

Jacob and I laughed together before looking at each other.

The journey passed in thirty minutes.

Jacob followed us besides our car mostly at times —we enjoyed and laughed cracking jokes.

As soon as he reached the amusement park, Rosie and I ran together while holding each other's hands like a couple, hehe!

The boys followed after us, but soon Daniel joined us while running and screaming like three idiots.

I can hear Ronald and Jacob giggles behind me.

   "Let's ride a horse." The horse ride can also be called a carnival ride.

   "Oh yeah, let's go!"

I, Rosie, and Daniel sat on the horse, but Ronald and Jacob refused.

The moment the ride started, we three started to scream, and Ronald was making those fun videos. 

I looked at Jacob as soon as I felt his warm stare; he placed his hands in his pocket, and I blushed at his intense stare.

We shared a look while looking into each other and making eye contact before smiling. 

We came to Jacob and Ronald as soon as we completed our ride.

   "It was a lot of fun!" I laughed.

    "You are right!" Rosie joined in and laughed with him.

    "Hey, there are cars; let's do a race!" I exclaimed

    "Are you a kid?" Jacob muttered, breaking the silence, and looked at him.

   "Huh?"  I sounded

    "You are not a child to ride on horses or cars." He rolled his eyes.

     

   "Let's ride some kind of exciting ride, such as a roller coaster!" He winked

Roller coasters—omg, I am afraid of heights, so I never ride on those.

   "Oh yes, let's ride the roller coaster!" Ronald muttered back.

    "I am ready!" Daniel screamed

    "It's so hot, is it necessary to ride up there?" Rosie muttered, shaking her hand and giving some air. 

   "Omg, are you afraid, sweety?" Ronald made fun of Rosie.

   "Excuse me?"  She glared at him, crossing her hands over her chest.

    "Yes, you are afraid of roller coasters." Ronald laughed.

   "That's why you are making excuses not to ride the roller coaster." Ronald sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes at her.

    "Hey, I am not afraid of anything!" She slapped him on Ronald's chest—hehe, this is kind of fun.

    "I don't know about Rosie, but I am certainly sure—Aurora is afraid of heights!" Jacob smirked, looking at me.

Wait for a second—why the hell is he taking me between the two?

    "How can you tell that I am afraid of heights?" I glared at him.

    "Because you are choosing very easy rides like cars and horses, and that's why I can tell that you are afraid." He pinched my forehead with my thumb.

    "Shut up! I am not afraid of anything!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

    "Really!"  Jacob laughed

   "Oh dude, these girls are afraid of rides like a roller coaster!"

    "Hey, you moron, watch your tongue!" Rosie again slapped Ronald on his chest.

Rosie and Ronald— I and Jacob started fighting in groups while screaming and shouting like hell.

Daniel looked at the boys and us back and forth before yelling at the top of his lungs.

"STOP!"  He came between our boys and girls.

Rosie and Ronald—I and Jacob stared at each other in anger while exhaling.
