I’m usually not he cal and collected one out of the three of us but almost all my self control went out the window when we were pulling into the school parking lot and some asshole almost crash's into my brothers car, not even paying attention. "What the fuck" I hear Dante say from the back seat. I push myself to not pay the person any attention and go back to looking at my phone and the text I’d just received from Nancy Sanchez from my home room class asking if I was interested in a stress relief. We're standing by the exit waiting for Damitri because his last class is on the other side of the fucking building, when I see Damitri walking down the hall then stop. I watch with curiosity as he leans forward slightly says something to some girl who’s standing at her locker. I can't see her face but the simple act of him stoping to say something to her I can tell there’s something going on in his head. He walks off with a smile on his face and his head held high as if he’d just won the fucking lottery. Who ever she is she must be special. We walk out of school and are standing in the parking lot by Damitir's car shooting the breeze with Conner, Dillion and a few others when the sound of a car alarm rings out around the crowded parking lot. As I'm looking around to see who’s car alarms going off I see the same girl Damitri has talked to in the hall doubled over laughing her ass off. I see some guy talking to her as he gets in the passenger side slamming the door once he’s in. She takes a few breaths to control herself then walks over to the driver's side and starts to get in, only to stop and look up and our eyes lock for just a brief moment. I'm stuck. I can't seem to look away even as I loose eye contact with her. She's absolutely stunning. My eyes follow her car as she pulls out of the parking lot and out of site. I push myself off the car still looking in the direction she drove off in and I take a few steps as if to chafe after her but stop realizing that I’ll never be able to catch her. "She's beautiful isn't she" turning my head towards Damitri who’s now standing next to me looking in the same direction she drove off in. “Yeah" is all I can say I take one last longing look in the direction she disappeared in.
