Zelda contemplated paying a visit to Sasha. Her goal was to utilize her residence as a training ground, given its possession of an intricate obstacle course.
Thorne started the car, and began to drive the lunar till he arrived at Sasha's mansion.
Zelda was stunned at how beautiful and spacious the yard was. Even though it didn't have many plants, it was quite neat. The outdoor pavement was that of sandstone painted in black, the path to the main door was paved with grey marble.
"Please call me when you need me to pick you up." Said Thorne.
"But what if she is not even at the house?"
"Madam Torres is here, she will open the door you'll see."
"Will she even like me?"
"Who wouldn't like such an angel like you?"
Zelda stepped out of the car slowly yet filled with doubt. The main entrance door did open.
Thorne waved her goodbye then drove off.
The lunar reached the door and didn't even have to knock as the middle aged woman stood there and looked straight at her.
"Oh ah. Good morning my name is Zelda, I uhmm.."
Sasha let out a chuckle
"How lovely to finally meet you. Miguel has told me a lot about you. Please come in." She said.
The lunar was relieved.
"Thank you, I've been meaning to visit. But Miguel wanted to take his time i guess. Thorne told me you have an obstacle course and i would have loved to use it to train my body better."
"Oh, that's why you came?" Sasha asked in a condensating tone.
Zelda felt slightly guilty
"No no.. I also wanted to meet you in person. To greet you maybe even get along with you."
Sasha laughed out.
"You are a funny one aren't you? My son mentioned that you've been his werewolf mate for a week now. How's that been going?" She asked.
"It's been incredible. We have this deep connection, and I think training myself will help make me even more stronger to be able to represent the family well enough."
"That's wonderful to hear. My son has always had a way of bringing out the best in others. I'm glad you two found each other. The obstacle course is yours to use. Just make sure to be careful and push yourselves to your limits."
Zelda expressed gratitude. The lunar headed towards the obstacle course, feeling a mix of excitement and determination.
Miguel arrived at Sasha's residence, his heart heavy with a mix of emotions. He had been looking forward to invite his mother for dinner and introduce her to Zelda.
Sasha's face brightened as she saw her son step into the mansion. She immediately offered him a hug.
"Oh son. Why didn't you tell me your girlfriend loves to train her body?"
Miguel was taken aback
"How did you know that?"
"She told me so herself, she's I'm the backyard as we speak on the obstacle course."
"What?"
The realization that Zelda introduced herself to Sasha instead of waiting for him to introduce her left Miguel feeling upset and somewhat betrayed.
He could smell her scent, from a distance. At first he thought it was his imagination but then seeing Zelda from one of the windows on the obstacle course gave him bittersweet feeling's.
Taking a deep breath to collect himself, Miguel entered his mother's house, hoping to find an opportunity to express his feelings and sort out the situation. Sasha greeted him with a warm smile, unaware of the turmoil brewing within her son.
"My dear boy! I'm so glad you're here. Zelda arrived earlier, and we've been getting acquainted. She's a delightful young woman."
The vicious lycan forced a smile, though his disappointment was evident in his eyes.
"Yes, Mother, it's good to see you. I didn't expect Zelda to be here already."
Sasha sensed her son's unease and concern, furrowing her brows in confusion.
"Oh, dear, is something wrong? Did she do something to upset you?"
Miguel hesitated, grappling with his conflicting emotions before finding the courage to express his feelings.
"It's just... I had hoped to introduce Zelda to you myself, to make it a special moment. It feels like she didn't wait for me chose to disrespect the authority I hold."
"You have not yet married her yet you expect respect?" Sasha asked.
"Is it too much too ask? The other wolves show me respect. They know that I am Alpha, they know the kind of family I come from."
"So what will you do about it then? Sit next to me and mope or teach your mate the way we do things around this family?"
Miguel felt heat in his body, he immediately rushed out of the house and went to the backyard where he found the lunar taking a break.
Zelda's face brightened as she saw Miguel approach. But worry rushed to her as she realized that he was not happy. The vicious werewolf suddenly slapped the lunar across the face.
"What's wrong with you?" Miguel asked.
"You just slapped me and you're asking what's wrong with me?"
"You were supposed to wait for me, but you just chose to disrespectful my feelings and introduce yourself instead. Who said you were ready?"
Zelda was both shocked and disgusted.
"I don't know what you've been smoking, but you know what. Just get away from me!" She said, walking away irritable.
Miguel kicked the soil from the ground angrily and tried to cool himself down.
Zelda entered the limo since Thorne had been parking it since he arrived with Miguel.
The vicious werewolf instructed the chaffeur to take Zelda back to his mansion. While he stayed behind.
.
Miguel returned to the house. Sasha began to impart wisdom to her son. "You know I couldn't help but hear your argument with Zelda." "I shouldn't have slapped her." "This family doesn't need any weak wolves. That slap was a warning but if you truly want to make Zelda listen you will have to use force." "What did you want me to do, scratch her make her bleed?" Miguel asked in annoyance. "Being part of our formidable lineage, we cannot afford to exhibit any signs of weakness. We come from a fierce and relentless bloodline, and it is crucial that Zelda develops the strength to match our family's reputation. We cannot allow any weakness to permeate our pack." Miguel listened intently, his mind grappling with conflicting thoughts. "I hear you well. But will beating her make her love me or will she hate me?" "It will make her strong. And one day she will appreciate what you did for her." "Mother, I understand the importance of strength, but do we truly have to be violent? Can
Gilbert was seething with anger as he witnessed the pain in his daughter's eyes. His paternal instincts flared, protective fury fueling his emotions. He couldn't fathom the pain Zelda had endured at the hands of Miguel, and his heart filled with an overwhelming sense of disappointment. Approaching his daughter with a mix of concern and determination, Gilbert gently took her hand and led her to a quiet corner of their home. He wanted to understand what had transpired and how best to support his daughter. "My dear you haven't eaten ever since you came back. I can see that something is wrong, what has happened? Did Miguel do this to you?" Zelda, her voice shaky, recounted the events that had unfolded, her pain and vulnerability laid bare before her father. Tears welled up in Gilbert's eyes as he listened, his anger simmering beneath the surface. "A slap is offensive but it shouldn't be the reason you have to now separate with your mate." "Father, that slap just shows how much Miguel
At the High End hotel. "Seeing you again, just made my entire day." Said Chris. Zelda smiled. "I hope Monica told you I have been matched." "Yes she did. But she also told me you're unhappy." Zelda sighed. Chris grab her by the hand. "Come, you can sit here on the bed. I won't do anything you don't want me to." The lunar did as asked. Tears in her eyes. "I don't know. I just. Its hard." She said. "Every relationship is. Did he hurt you?" "He just surprised me." "What's his name?" "Didn't Monica tell you?" "She said to ask you instead." Zelda chuckled. "He's Miguel Torres." "The one whose wealthy and vicious. Sasha's son?" "So you've heard about him?" "Yes. Why would you.." Zelda felt a sudden annoyance. "Please, stop talking about those people otherwise I'll leave." She said. "Oh I'm sorry." Chris offered Zelda a hug, his scent brought memories to the lunar. She felt a sense of calmness and protection. She enjoyed the scent. She began to pul
The news of Zelda with Miguel did not sit well with Chris. Sleeping became difficult. His jealousy was aroused, his blood hot and raging. He wanted to prove himself as the better mate for Zelda but because of his past quarrel with Louise he knew it would be a difficult war to win. He's return to Bellini did not prove to make much of a difference. He still longed to see Zelda. And so he decided it would be much better if he sent her a necklace to apologise for the disagreement he had with the lunar at the High End hotel. But before spending any money, he needed a little advice, his colleague Dawn was a werewolf who knew jewellery well. "We've been in three store's already, what kind of necklace are you looking for exactly?" "One with many diamonds on it." "How many carats?" Chris rolled his eye's. "No. I just want the diamonds arranged closely on the necklace." Dawn laughed. "Why didn't you say so?" She asked. "I thought looking around a few stores, would help me in fin
Meanwhile, Cecilia who had just finished cleaning the last corner of the house went over to Thorne, who at the time was enjoying his nap inside the limousine. The chauffeur was woken up by the sound of quick footsteps walking towards his direction. He became worried and woke up at that very moment. "What is it?" Cecilia folded her arms. "Really? I hope Mr Torres doesn't find you like that." Thorne hardened his face. "What do you want from me?" The maid giggled. "What would I want from you when you have nothing to give?" "Then stay away!" "Okay I'm sorry then. Don't be angry with me. You know I'm only playing." The chauffeur eyed Cecilia for a moment. "Why are you here?" "Today Miss Zelda got a gift.. But it didn't say from who." "Why are you telling me?" "She smiled when she opened the box." "Well did you see what was inside?" The housemaid made a frown. "Not exactly." "Then why exactly did you even start this topic of yours?" "She his the gift, I
Later that evening, Cecilia had finished cleaning up the kitchen, the last remaining task for the day, was to burn the leftover's as well as serviettes used. She went to the furnace room carrying the items to be burnt. She placed the logs carefully and began to lit them up. But then she noticed the gift box under her favourite chair, the only chair in the room that she usually placed in the corner when she was not in the room. A folding metal chair. "What's this now?" Since the furnace room was not that bright, Cecilia had to rely on the small lamps placed on the walls to see the box clearly. She jumped in excitement as soon as she realised that it was the same gift box that was sent to Zelda. She immediately opened it, assuming maybe she would smell the kind of gift that was in the box. All she could get was that it was metallic. Which could mean that it was a type of jewellery or some other metal object. The housemaid saw the address underneath the box. "A hospital in Bellini?
Chris stood there frozen, Thorne approached him, yet his eyes we're fixed on the vicious werewolf. "Excuse me sir, but do you maybe know this woman?" The chauffeur asked, showing a picture of Zelda. The doctor did not respond right away, Miguel found it interesting that Chris was staring at him for such a long time. He went on to approach him. "Greetings." He said, stretching his hand for a handshake. But then because Chris remembered that Miguel had somehow offended the lunar he loved, he did not accept the handshake. Even his shocked state left him. "What do you want with Zelda?" He asked irritably. Miguel was beginning to feel hot. "Are you the one who sent her the necklace?" He asked "Yes, I did." "Thorne, go wait for me in the car." Miguel instructed The chauffeur did as instructed. "Your name tag says you're Chris.. Is that your name?" The vicious werewolf asked. "Yes it is that's why its there." "Well Chris, I may not know you and I don't know if you know
Sasha approached Miguel with a grave expression on her face, her eyes filled with concern. She knew she had to advise him on a matter that weighed heavily on her mind."Miguel," Sasha began, her voice filled with urgency, "I think it's time you consider parting ways with Chris. He's become a negative influence, and I fear he's having an adverse effect on Zelda."Miguel looked at Sasha, his brows furrowed in confusion. "What do you mean, Sasha? How is Chris impacting Zelda?"Sasha took a deep breath, carefully choosing her words. "Zelda has always been an independent and strong-willed person. But lately, I've noticed a change in her. She seems more distant and influenced by Chris's presence. It's as if he holds some sway over her decisions and actions."Miguel's concern grew as he absorbed Sasha's words. Zelda's happiness and well-being were his utmost priority, and if Chris was indeed having a negative influence, he knew he had to address the situation."I had no idea, Sasha," Miguel
