“No, am here with my friends” Doyin answers,

“Since I don't want to talk much, this is my complimentary card, my office address and phone number are there, please you can check on me in my office,” Dotun said,

“I don't normally have time for outing and transport fare is my major problem, I always have sustenance money calculated with me,” Doyin says,

Okay, that won't be a problem or obstacle to our relationship, ask anything, from me, I will give you, but don't tell your cousins anything, I promised to take care of you, Doyin, do you know that you are a beautiful girl?“ Dotun says,

“I don't understand your parables," Doyin says,

" Okay, let me put It In this way, I like you and I want to be taking care of your needs,” Dotun says,

“Taking care of my needs Is not a problem, but the problem there Is my cousins, If they know that you are taking care of me, they wouldn't be happy with me,” Doyin says,

“Forget about them, I will handle the situation, I won't let you get into a mess, I will protect you but keep everything In secret, do you understand what I mean, I want you to be my girlfriend,” Dotun says, “Do you agree?“ Dotun asked,

“I will think about It?“ Doyin retorted,

“I want a positive answer,” Dotun says, “If I want to return to Lagos, will you go with us?“ he asked,

“Which day did you want to go?“ she asked,

“We are going back on Saturday” he retorted,

“I won't be ready by then because of the food items and the upkeep will be ready on Saturday evening, don't worry about me, I will find my way to the school on Sunday,” she says,

“common' don't worry, I will change my plans and movement, I will wait for you till Sunday but early In the morning,” Dotun says,

“I won't be able to meet up In the morning but after worship hours because will have to attend worship gathering before leaving for school, that is law in our family house,” Doyin says,

“That shouldn't be a problem, I will wait for you, but don't keep me waiting because I will have to prepare for Monday functions,” Dotun says, “and by the way, which faculty and what is the name of your hostel?“ he asked,

“won't you drop me at school because I will have lots of luggage tomorrow,” she said,

“Okay, there is no problem in doing that for my Princess, I will drop you,” Dotun said, and he deeps hand into his trouser's pocket and brought out new notes of five hundred nairas and gave it to doyin and she collected the money and she says, “thank you”

“If you wipe away my tears and If you make me happy, I promised you the whole world, and everything you need from me will be at your palm,” Dotun says,

“Where do you live?“ Doyin asked,

“I lived in Gowon estate in Ipaja suburb,

“Okay, but It is far from my school,” she said,

“don't worry about the distance, you will come during the holiday break but make everything between us a secret affair, Deja must not know,” he said, and he returned to his seat while Doyin return to join her friends, and Deji asked, “where have you been, I thought you have gone home, let me order for another food and drinks because the one they brought have cold” Deji, and Dotun said, “never mind, I will soon be leaving because of my wife, she will be out there waiting for me,” Dotun says, and two of them left the birthday party and they returned home individually, “my love, am sorry to leave you so long,” Dotun said,

“that is alright,” Deja says, and they entered their room in the family house and slept, At midnight, Dotun couldn't stop thinking about Doyin while Deja was fast asleep,

On Sunday morning, Deja worked up very early prepared herself for the journey to Lagos but Dotun was pretending to sleep, and she later joined her mother-in-law in preparing the breakfast, and when Dotun woke up, he took a stroll to his friend Deji's house, he was using delaying tactics, until after worship hours before he returned home, and Doyin brought her luggage and say, “good day sis”

“How are you Doyin” Deja asked, “are you going back to school today,” she asked,

“Yes, sis” Doyin retorted,

“you can go with us,” Deja says,

“No, I don't want to bother you, I will find a car that will drop in front of my hostel because I have lots of luggage, you know how Lagos traffic is,” Doyin says,

“Don't worry, I will talk to my husband, he will drop you in your hostel,” Deja says, and Doyin rushed down to their house and brought other luggage Deja told her husband, please, Doyin will be going with us and you will help me drop her in the school”

“No problem, but I don't think I can take her to the school campus,” Dotun said,

“Please, she is my cousin and she says she had plenty of luggage,” Deja says,

“Okay, I will try my best” Dotun says, and Deja and Doyin packed all the luggage inside the car boot and they drove to Lagos, Dotun dropped Deja at home she took Doyin to school, and he returned home, the following weekend, he told his wife that he was going to a conference from the office and he went and lodge Doyin into a motel throughout the weekend and they were together leaving his wife at home, On Sunday evening, he came back home to meet his wife,

The secret affairs continue between Dotun and Doyin until the big riot broke out on the campus and all the students were running for their dear life, Doyin traced the address of Deja's house in Gowon estate and she sat beside the security, and when Doyin came back from the office and saw her, she asked, “what happened, why are you here during the week?“ Deja asked,

“there was an outbreak of riot in the school and the school campus has been closed” Doyin explained,

“hope they didn't hurt you?“ Deja asked,

“No, I didn't participate, I would have gone home but I don't have a transport fare,” Doyin says,

“It's alright, come with me, this is my house, you can stay with me before your school is open,” Doyin says, and carried her luggage while Doyin open the entrance to the house and they both enter the house and Doyin say, “sis, you have a beautiful home”

“thank you,” Deja says, and she led her to a guest room, “this is your room, make yourself comfortable in my house,” Deja says

“come with me, let me show you the kitchen,

and some other parts of the house,” Deja said, and she took round the house and showed her Kitchen, store, dining room, her matrimonial bedroom, and hidden exits out of the house in case of any eventuality, and they walked back to the living room, “let me change my outfit because we need to prepare dinner,” Deja said, and she headed upstairs where she changed her clothes and she put on casual wears, she headed downstairs to meet her cousin in the living room, a few minutes later, she walked to the kitchen and Doyin joined her and both of them prepared the dinner and Doyin sets the dining table.
