3. A Wedding Kidnap

Chapter Three 

Nina

“Can’t wait to strip the innocence off you during the blood night ritual” 

You can go ahead and imagine why I despise him so much, this is the first thing my fiancé is telling me on our very first private encounter, a few hours before we exchanged our fake vows and get married. 

I swallowed hard and tried to stop my legs and hands  from shaking, I can’t afford to show any sign of weakness before him . 

Beast like Alpha Lucas will only use my weakness to his advantage. 

The blood ritual is a Moonlight Pack mating tradition that happens on the wedding night when Alpha grooms mate and have sex with their bride on white bedsheets before they later show off the blood stain to the whole pack as proof of the bride's purity and virginity, if the lady is not a virgin. She gets cast out as a rogue and the idea of being an outcast seems like a nice escape route to me right now. 

“Good morning Alpha Lucas…” I stammered still sitting and facing the mirror while I ignore meeting his face in the reflection of the mirror. 

“You stand on your feet or bow to me when I talk to you” he barked with so much harshness in his voice, almost giving me a heart attack with the way he forcefully jerked me up from the chair to turn and face him, he smells of tobacco ,dressed up and looking every bit the groom in his expensive tailored made black colored tuxedo suit that matched his jet black low cut hair.  

I blinked my eyes keeping the tears away, his sharp nails digging into where father left the sour bruises last night. 

He yanked my gown up roughly in a swift, his calous hands grazing the front of my newly shaved vagina  and then back to my bare  ass underneath the lingerie before letting the wedding gown drop down. 

“Good, the red lingerie will be soaked with your virgin blood…” 

“Please… ”I tried to find words to beg for mercy but my lips quivered.

“No,now you listen carefully. I hope you’re not too dumb to not understand me , you fucking low ranking omega don’t get to talk in my presence without permission from me! Getting married to me doesn’t make you any different from my whores, don't expect me to be faithful and tired down to you!” 

“I was just curious when father insisted you will be the most beautiful and pure suitor …he was right and you came with a surprise. The way you ran away on us , I like myself a little entertainment and feisty drama in bed  before I toss you around as my submissive heir breeder. Besides, my old man seems to be worn out and I need an heir to claim my stake as the next Alpha King as soon as possible. Don’t think of this marriage as anything serious, you mean nothing to me and the Pack” 

These lethal words dropped out of Alpha Lucas' mouth with a straight face as if it’s the most normal thing to say on earth. I squirmed and sniffed back my tears. 

“Till we meet in church my future Luna. Make sure you wear this engagement ring …” he said ,pushing the black box into my hands and just like that he was gone after pushing me away from him. 

My crystal clear high heels gave way and I fell to the ground, crying my heart out till I heard a knock and sensed Nathan’s presence behind it, I stood up and quickly let him in 

“Goodness,  what’s wrong Nina. You look so red with all these cries ,like a pretty havoc.” I ignored his attempt to cheer me up with his cheeky jokes.  I desperately need to know about the escape plan he has mapped out for me.

“What’s the plan? I need to run away now!” I shouted my body shaking 

“Calm down Nina. You won’t marry that beast, it’s a promise” 

“What do you mean?…” I asked ,my heavy chest lightening up with hope.

“I convinced  mother and father to go ahead without us, I offered to drive and accompany you to the wedding cathedral. Only I and one of Alpha Lucas’s bodyguards will be with you. We will swap cars with one of my friends on the highway…you won’t get the clear picture now  but trust me on this one  … “ 

“Okay, thank you so much Nathan” I said, truly grateful that he is willing to  risk his life and engage in a traitorous act for me. 

“Now , let's fix your crown. They shouldn’t see you as a weakling. You’re stronger than you think Nina'' Nathan whispered to me as he helped me fix my smeared and wet face. Picked my bag with the change of clothes, face mask and money as we headed out to the white decorated sedan waiting for us at the entrance of the house. 

Two of Alpha Lucas’s black cars followed us, one behind while one in front. Nathan stayed in the driver seat of the white sedan I was in  as I watched his every move waiting for a signal. 

I bit my lips trying to hide a triumphant smile when I saw him secretly pull a gun out when we reached the highway since the cathedral was at the outskirts of town. 

I said a silent prayer behind my veil as I tossed the black box aside waiting for Nathan’s plan to unfold. The diamond rock felt more like a life sentence instead of a declaration of love and devotion. 

“Arghhhhh! “ I shouted when our car came to a screeching  halt, making me hit my head on the back of the driver's seat. 

It must be time for Nathan’s plan , hope swelled in me as I tapped Nathan excitedly making me ignore the pain in my head from the hit.  

“Lay low Nina, something seems wrong” he said as both he and my driver brought out their guns while looking behind our car.

“They are intruders!” Shouted my driver to Nathan who nodded in agreement. 

“Those aren’t our pack members…”  replied Nathan as he brought out his gun through the window and started shooting, making me shout with confusion. 

“Stop shouting  and lay low Nina!” Shouted Nathan over the loud noises of gun shots. I raised my head to look back  and saw the car behind us batteredly damaged with blood stains and bullet holes. 

“Nina, stay low !“ warned Nathan and just when I bent my head , I heard my driver's cry as a flying bullet hit him in the skull, blood blathering out of his head and some spilling on my face and wedding gown. 

Shit,shit! What’s going on?’ 

“What do you want?!”  shouted Nathan 

“The bride” came a bald scary looking man’s answer who appeared out of nowhere beside my car , breaking the window with his bare hands as the pieces of glasses shattered to my face leaving some few painful cuts. He was heavily tattooed even to his skull as he tried to open the door but it was locked.

“Leave her out of this and take me instead “ said Nathan coming out to surrounder, lifting his hands up and dropping his gun.

“Move” said the man hitting Nathan on the head with his gun as he fell down and passed out. 

“Don’t kill my brother !” I shouted, opening the door and falling down on Nathan’s body with his head already bleeding. 

“Please don’t do this to us !” I pleaded, crying , my white gown already soaked in blood. 

“Is this Nathan’s plan or a misunderstanding?” I asked the man who ignored me and picked me straight up heading towards the five black jeeps lined up behind our gun shooting wrecked looking car. 

“My husband is a beast! He won’t take this light, I am warning you! “ I threatened them,shouting,  kicking and scalping his huge body with my sharp claws but he didn’t move as he carelessly dropped me in the back seat of one of the jeeps as the car zoomed off.

“I am really cursed by the moon goddess.“

I kept looking back, dying to make sure Nathan is doing okay. My body and head is aching badly and I feel so weak, I can’t even shape shift in this condition to save my life. 

“Who are you and what do you want ?!” 

"You have the wrong person!”

“Today is my wedding, you guys are committing a great crime by kidnapping me!” I kept shouting and crying but the two men ignored me 

“Let’s shut her up with some tranquilizer before  taking her to the private jet” suggested the other one turning o give me a dirty smirk  

“Just say it if you want money ?!” I said in a whimper tired of shouting and crying.  

I kept turning back to see no car on our tail, the highway was still looking empty and deserted.My  bag and cellphone were still in the bridal car even the diamond engagement ring which  I can use to bribe  them was left behind.

“Did Alpha Lucas send you to humiliate me ?”

Before I could lash out at them again, the other man turned back and placed a handkerchief on my face that made my head spin in circles,images around me blurring before I blanked out at the sight of a private jet and a brooding tall man dressed in all black.
