Her Medical Record

My eyelids fluttered open, to see a white ceiling above me and the familiar antiseptic smell of hospitals and the faint beeping of a medical machine beside me. I still felt throbbing pain in my head.

I turned my head slowly, to see the medical machine by my side. It's obvious now, I’m at a hospital.

I looked around the room but no one was there except me. I turned to the cabinet but my phone wasn't there. "Where is David?" I muttered to myself.

Just then a nurse opened the door. And I immediately raised my hand.

"Doctor, Doctor he's awake!" she called out, And then I heard foot steps and the doctor walked in.

I looked up to see his face recognizing him as the Doctor who usually oversaw Selena's monthly check-ups.

"How are you feeling? Does your head still hurt?" He asked me.

I nodded slightly, "Not as much, but it's still there. I groaned, what's the caused of my headache and why did I blank out?" I questioned.

"The impact from the blow you received was quite severe," he replied.
